On May 14th BET release the nomination for the 2014 BET Awards, they also announce that comedian/actor Chris Rock will be hosting the show on June 29th. Rock has not hosted a music award show since 2003 when he hosted the MTV Video Music Awards. Stephens G. Hill who is President of Music Programming and Special at BET said “It was a long process to get Rock to host. We’ve been trying to make this happen for a very long while and we’re ecstatic”. This will be Rock first time hosting the BET Awards we can not wait to see what he unleash on the audience.
