Toronto rapper Drake will hit New York to support Tyra Banks’ TZONE, a new effort being launched in conjunction with the supermodel and the Lower Eastside Girls Club on Avenue D in Manhattan.

Tyra will preside over the The Flawsome Ball, which will be headlined by Drake.

Tyra uses the word “Flawsome” (a mixture of flawed and awesome) to describe the young girls who take part in the TZONE, which was originally launched in 1999 as a weeklong camping experience for young girls in Los Angeles.

The new Lower Eastside Girls Club will house the first brick-and-mortar TZONE, which will offer hundreds of girls mentoring, workshops, financial literacy and self-esteem building courses and other valuable tools to help them succeed in life.

“Through this partnership, my lifelong mission of raising the self-esteem of young women and empowering them to feel beautiful inside and out can be realized for years to come,” Tyra Banks told AllHipHop.com. “It’s exciting that TZONE is now a physical space, as creating a place like this for girls has always been a dream of mine.”

Banks’ TZONE is one of the first programs being launched by the Lower Eastside Girls Club, which will open its new 30,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art center in the coming weeks.
