Although Earl Sweatshirt has claimed to not have seen Taylor Swifts new video “Shake it Off”, he finds that having twerking women as Swift dances among them has already been done by other artists and criticized. After posting a tweet saying claiming Swift’s video to be “inherently offensive and ultimately harmful”, Earl states that the video “is perpetuating black stereotypes to the same demographic of white girls who hide their prejudice by proclaiming their love of the culture."
