Freddy Gibbs and Jeezy were associated until Gibbs split from Corporate Thug Entertainment in December 2012. Every since then Gibbs had berated Jeezy name in songs and interviews and he is not going to stop until Jeezy responds. During an interview promoting his collaborative album with producer Madlib, Gibbs question the Senior Vice President of Atlantic Records ability to run the label. Gibbs said “ Of course he don’t know what he doing. Hell nah, he don’t know what the f*ck he doing. And I’mma stay on his punk a*s till he say something about it. I’mma keep drilling his punk ass into the ground”. Madlib planned on putting out an unreleased album under his Quasimoto moniker. The album was intended to be released before 2000 for Madvillain sequel.
