Gucci Mane has been sentence to 39 months in jail after pleading guilty to firearm possession, he had in his possession a Glock 40 and 11 round of ammunition. The rapper has been locked up since last September when the incident took place, waiting for a judge ruling on the possession charges which was made yesterday. Since he already been locked up for 11 months he only has 28 months to serve he most likely will be released in December 2016, he will also be on probation for 3 years. It is said that Mane allegedly as the judge to recommend he serve his sentence in a west coast prison with a drug rehab program to allow him to get away from local influences in Atlanta.
The judge told the rapper “he’s unfamiliar with the ATL rapper’s music, “young people – my nieces and nephews – tell me you are quite cool.”
