Jay Z wants to purchase a music streaming service for $56 million

Jay Z is about to make a play in the music streaming business. Competing with services like Google Play, Beats Music, Amazon Prime Music, and Spotify. Jay put a bid in for a Scandinavian company called Aspiro that owns a music streaming service called WiMP. The word is that Jays Company, Project Panther, put the actual bid in for $56 million in cash. The WiMP service is hugely popular in Europe so it will be interesting to see what Jay and his team can do with it and how it fairs against Americas biggest music streaming services.
