If Jay did not strike a deal with "Samsung" to have his album debut on "Samsung Galaxy phone there would be no "Beats Electronic" deal with "Apple." Jay deal with "Samsung" showed the number one company (Apple) the importance of connecting with culture. West reportedly think that "Apple" has lost some of its touch at connecting with culture after Steve Jobs(one of West biggest influence) died and he see the "Beats" acquisition as a way to start getting it connection back. West is not excited about "Samsung", he is a big fan of "Apple". Because of the way my parents raised me I have to work with the number one citing that Jay, Beyonce and Louis Vuitton are number ones.
