PRESIDENT OBAMA SUPPORTS KAEPERNICKS STAND

49er's QB Kaepernick has took a stand against injustice in america by not standing during the national anthem. Colin Kaepernick vowed not to stand and salute the flag until their is change in america and issues like police brutality in the black community is addressed, we had un-armed black men murdered by police and they receive paid days off, and the mistreated military veterans. Through the open dialogue many people discovered a verse missing from the national anthem that they had no idea about.

"No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave,
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave."

The verse speaks of the death of slaves who joined the British to fight the war against America, in exchange they would have their freedom and not returned to the slave owners. President Obama reached out in support of Kaepernick's stand along with Team USA soccer star Megan Rapinoe, Anthony Anderson, San Francisco 49ers safety Eric Reid, Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane, Jim Brown voiced support for Kaepernick, and more.
