Doing an interview with XXL, The-Dream has announced that he and collaborator Tricky Stewart with some help from Jay Z himself will be launching an “art label”. The label will be called Contra Paris and isn’t limited to just music. Dream plans to bring the art scene back to the 80s when art and music meshed together very well. “We’ve got these young guys who can be Basquiat with great gifts and I want to couple my music with them and make sure that their shit is being seen because I think that’s what was so great in the 80s.” The-Dream said but when asked if he would be making some music with Hov he wouldn’t speak on it.
