Pharoahe Monch a rapper from Queens shared his thought on Lord Jamar comments of whites in hip hop. Monch said hip hop consist of too many layer to be divided by race. He remember when deejays in his neighborhood cut records from artist from other races including Billy Squier 'The Big Beat' and Queens 'We Will Rock You. He said "he never put a color on it from my mindset. I think you're just seeing a reflection of how mixed the culture is and how global hip hop is right now. Monach was asked it he think hip hop would some day be dominated by white artist he said "I wouldn't be surprised at all". Hip hop is expanding more people get influence by it and more people try their hand at it.
