Yasiin Bey, previously known as Mos Def, had to go to court today in Cape Town, South Africa to get some legal details sorted involving his case. If you didn’t know already he was arrested for having a fake passport and staying way longer then his artist’s visa allowed. The court date was postponed while they investigate his case further and it was rescheduled for March 24th. Hopefully the punishment isn’t too harsh for him at the end of the day.
