Gun violence is on the rise in the United States; it is one of the social vices in the US today. On Tuesday evening an American famous hip-hop musician Usher popularly known as the Rich Kid was involved in a shooting at Westlake Recording studio. He was about to record a song in the studio which is popular for famous musicians such as Justin Bieber, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Rihanna, Quincy Jones, and Justin Timberlake. Law enforcement officers have confirmed that usher and his multiple entourage members were at the scene. Sources indicate that he was not injured. However, at least one bodyguard has been wounded from pistol whipping.
Police are yet to confirm the number of causalities. Furthermore, this is not the first time Usher is attacked. Last summer, he and his lovely girlfriend Tori Brixx were severely injured during a home robbery in downtown Los Angeles. The burglary resulted in a loss to the musician as the robbers stole cash and jewelry from the house. Moreover, the injuries sustained from this ordeal were serious as Usher was admitted in the hospital for days.
The Rich Kid is fond of displaying large amounts of cash and jewelry on social media which he regards as a motivational act. Police have confirmed that indeed it was a robbery, but they are yet to establish whether he was the target. Moreover, L.A deputies are on the ground to secure the crime scene and gather for evidence as they are pursuing the suspect. Sources say that the shooters or shooter stole a ton of cash and jewelry whose owner is yet to be known.
Later in the day, Usher was seen leaving the studio and heading home. He appeared fine but had no comment on what transpired. His representatives also confirmed to his fans that the rapper was okay.
