In past years it was Jay Z and Lebron who had the opportunity to put together “NBA 2K” soundtrack now it is Pharrell turn. This year track for NBA 2K15 will feature 27 songs including tracks from: Lauryn Hill, Snoop Dogg, Lorde, A Tribe Called Quest, Missy Elliott, Afrika Bambaataa & Soulsonic Force, Clipse, No Doubt, Public Enemy, Ratatat, Santigold, The Black Keys, Depeche Mode, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and more. Some of P’s own music like “Can I Have It Like That,” “How Does It Feel?” and “Hunter,” will also appear on the project. “Aerosol Can,” Pharrell’s collaboration with Major Lazer, was chosen for the soundtrack as well.
2014 was an amazing year for Pharrell he released his album “G I R L”, he won a Grammy Award for “Producer of the Year”, he was nominated for an Oscar for his song “Happy” and he signed a deal with Adidas. Being the curator for NBA 2K15 soundtrack is just icing on the cake.
