The NFL claims that their policies of branded exposure on-field were active since the 1990’s. There are rumors that Bose is the reason for the NFL suddenly reinforcing the rules; however, the NFL strictly denied those accusations. “Bose is not involved in the enforcement of our policies” Says a league member.
