Mariah Carey received a record low in her album sales in 2014 so things have not been the best for the once chart topping singer. Back in 2003 Carey was in a bad spot also but signed a deal with Def Jam and L.A. Reid that lead to the release of her album The Emancipation of Mimi which was extremely successful. Hopefully now that Mariah has signed a deal with EPIC and is working with L.A. Reid once again this will lead to once again her having another hit album.
