A Tribe Called Quest is a fundamental group in hip-hop and with their debut album way back in 1990 called People’s Instinctive Travels And The Paths of Rhythm they did big things. To honor this album on its 25th anniversary they will be re-releasing it in full on November 13th . In a press release Q-tip had this to say “I had this album in my head for years before I did it, looking at it overall, to see the thoughts of a 16-year-old gain any kind of acknowledgement makes me feel like I have arrived … But to see it in this incarnation … I’m humbled.” The re-release was mastered by Bob Power who actually engineered their first three albums and it features remixes by some artist that have been inspired by the group.
