In between reigniting his feud with Tyga, the notorious rapper and social media troll took to Twitter to shoot his shot with the “ICY GRL” following her split from Quavo earlier this year.
“What a Ni**a gotta do to have @Saweetie,” Draco tweeted.
It’s unclear if Soulja is Saweetie’s type as she has not responded to his tweet.
This is not the first time Soulja has tried to shoot his shot. He previously flirted with Kim Kardashian, just months after she filed for divorce from Kanye West.
Meanwhile, he has been taking shots at Tyga in the wake of his arrest and also beefing with YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s fans.
They need to let Yb out his fans so bored they keep tweeting me shit 🤣🤣
Two years after announcing the title, the Atlanta rapper finally releases his highly-anticipated sophomore album. On his most personal project yet, Thugger pulls in heavy-hitters like J. Cole, Doja Cat, and Future.
Drake and Travis Scott team up on “Bubbly,” while Post Malone and A$AP Rocky join forces on “Livin It Up.” The 20 tracks also include appearances from the late Mac Miller and Juice WRLD, plus Gunna and fun.’s Nate Ruess.
Thug takes a more serious and “storytelling” approach on the follow-up to his 2019 debut So Much Fun. “The whole album is just focused on one point,” he told Complex. “It will surprise some people that I am speaking on what the youth is speaking on. I always had that mindset, like, ‘I’m not rapping about what everybody else is rapping about.’ No matter what is popping. But this time, it was just like, ‘You know what? I’m going to do it.’ Just to show ni**as I can do it.’ This sh*t is easy.”
The rap icon has revealed that she is now being managed by none other than Nick Cannon. Speaking with King Keraun for an episode of Complex’s “Hiking with Rappers” series, Kim opened up about her longtime friendship with the multi-faceted mogul.
“Nick Cannon, people don’t even know, he’s one of my best friends. We’ve been best friends for years,” said Kim, who’s known Cannon for around two decades.
She credits her new manager for inspiring her to get into acting. She stars alongside Cannon in the upcoming Christmas movie, Miracle Across 125th Street, which she described as the “Friday of Christmas movies.”
“I really did that movie for Nick… Nick is convincing me. You know he’s my manager,” she said matter-of-factly.
When King Keraun brought up Nick’s “20 kids,” Kim defended him. “Leave my manager alone,” she said before joking, “I think they all on Drake’s album cover.”
Elsewhere, Kim revealed which artists she’s been listening to including Drake and Wizkid. “I could listen to that song all day,” she said of Wizkid’s “Essence.” “That’s like my theme song to anything.”
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson can add rapper to his résumé.
The box office king makes his rapping debut on Tech N9ne’s new single, “Face Off,” which also features Joey Cool and King Iso.
“I love music. Anytime in my movies when I can implement some musical elements, I always love doing that,” The Rock told Variety.
The Jungle Cruise star has been a longtime fan of the independent rapper and has shared his music on social media. A few years ago, the two met in-person on set of HBO’s “Ballers,” but the collaboration didn’t come together until Tech N9ne DM’d The Rock.
“The biggest star in the world said something back to me! You know what I’m sayin? I am hyped. We are all hyped!” Tech N9ne said.
“When Tech texted me, I knew I would make this work,” added The Rock. “We’re aligned, just in terms of our work ethic and desire. When Tech and I first met years ago on the set of ‘Ballers,’ we were talking about this idea about being the hardest worker in the room. He said something that I really appreciated: basically, ‘There could never be enough food in this room or on this set that could make me full because I always want to be hungry.’ I just love that.”
The Rock previously appeared on Wyclef Jean’s 2000 song, “It Doesn’t Matter,” but he was waiting for the right time to make his official rap debut. “A lot of my friends who are hip-hop artists—like big names—I’ve been asked a few times. But it just has to feel right,” he shared.
“Face Off” can be found on Tech N9ne’s new album ASIN9NE, which also features Lil Wayne, E-40, and Snow Tha Product.
Majid Jordan is ready to share their Wildest Dreams.
The Canadian R&B duo has announced that its third studio album will arrive on Oct. 22 via OVO Sound. Alongside the title and release date, they have revealed the cover art.
“‘Wildest Dreams’ our third album is coming to you all on October 22nd,” tweeted Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman.
The project has already spawned a trio of singles including “Waves of Blue,” “Been Through That,” and most recently, “Summer Rain.”
“More than ever, Maj and I keep wanting to make that album, all cohesive, that you really don’t skip,” Ullmann told Complex last year. “We’re best friends. We’re from opposite sides of the world and came together in Toronto. I want people to relate to that. I want that to come through on this record.”
Wildest Dreams arrives four years after their last album The Space Between, which featured guest appearances from their OVO labelmates PARTYNEXTDOOR and dvsn.
Nick Cannon is a father of seven, but he has no plans to add to his family right now.
Speaking with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN on the latest episode of “Drink Champs,” the new daytime talk show host revealed that he is practicing celibacy after welcoming four children in seven months.
When N.O.R.E. brought up his many kids, Cannon defended himself. “I ain’t even got that many compared to… I’m like low on the totem pole, but I love all my kids,” he said before making a shocking revelation: “I told you, I’m celibate right now.”
In fact, he is trying to remain celibate until next year. “I’m going to see if I can make it to 2022.”
In July, Cannon made headlines when he welcomed his seventh child, a boy named Zen S. Cannon, with “Wild ‘N Out” model Alyssa Scott.
Prior to that in June, he and radio DJ Abby De La Rosa welcomed twin sons, Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir. Back in December, Nick and model Brittany Bell welcomed their daughter, Powerful Queen. They also share a 4-year-old son, Golden.
Additionally, the “Masked Singer” host has 10-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with ex-wife Mariah Carey.
During the interview, he also reflected on his relationship with Kim Kardashian, who he started dating in 2006 following Kim’s split from Ray J. At the time, Kim denied that she and Ray J had a sex tape when Nick confronted her about it.
“I believe Ray J knew her before I did. I was really into her,” said Nick. “I was vibing. We were on some serious shit. She broke my heart. Then, it started being these rumors going around that it was this tape. When I asked her about it, she denied it. I knew that they messed with each other. I never watched the tape.”
However, Nick admitted that the infamous tape took a toll on their relationship. “I just knew at that time, all my team was like, ‘Abort mission.’”

During opening night on the “Millennium Tour” at the Forum in Los Angeles on Friday (Oct. 1), Omarion reunited with his fellow B2K members Lil’ Fizz, J-Boog, and Raz-B. At one point, Fizz took a moment to publicly apologize to his bandmate for his relationship with Apryl Jones, the mother of Omarion’s two children.
“I think it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t take this moment bro to publicly apologize to you,” he told O. “I did some fu**ed up shit to my brother. I’m not proud of it, man. So I want to stand here humbly and sincerely apologize to you for any turmoil or dysfunction I caused between you and your family.”
It was all love as they hugged it out onstage to cheers before continuing with the show.
Fizz made headlines after he started dating Omarion’s ex, which caused friction in the group and may have resulted in B2K’s removal from the second “Millennium Tour.”
Omarion, who split with Jones in 2016, previously addressed the controversy. “I don’t feel no ways, I don’t feel any way about it,” he told VladTV. “I think that if they’re happy, then they should be happy. I think they should change the narrative, though.”
“She’s still the mother of my children,” he added. “When something affects her, it affects my kids, and that affects me. But what she does is, you know, live your life. I think people should do whatever makes them happy. I think they should change the narrative though because if it’s their so-called happiness then I shouldn’t be a part of it.”
J-Boog previously spoke out against Fizz’s relationship with Jones and blamed him for derailing their reunion tour. “Fizzle Pop ruined everything,” he said on Instagram Live in November 2019. “I wouldn’t say he ruined everything, but about 99 percent of it though.”
In addition to Omarion and B2K, last night’s “Millennium Tour” featured performances from Ashanti, Soulja Boy, Ying Yang Twins, Lloyd, Sammie, and Pretty Ricky.
Chris Brown also joined Bow Wow on stage to perform their collaboration “Shawty Like Mine.”
The rapper’s debut album Montero opened at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 last month with 126,000 equivalent album units, including 147 million streams, but took the runner-up spot to Drake’s Certified Lover Boy. While second-week sales are not officially in yet, it appears that he will slide to No. 3 behind Drake and YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s Sincerely, Kentrell.
Despite Nas’ solid numbers, which Billboard described as an “excellent performance for a debut album,” his critics couldn’t resist the opportunity to declare him a “flop,” claiming he “sold his soul” but it wasn’t enough to get him the No. 1 spot.
y’all have tweeted 10 different versions of this tweet. meanwhile my album has already sold almost 2 million copies worldwide and is already the 8th most streamed project of the year. cry & cope. ☹️ https://t.co/KNT2OMcPLH
“Lil nas X danced on the devil, came out as gay & sold his soul just for his album to not overcome drake’s or Youngboy. FLOP. Real overcomes all!” wrote one Twitter account.
But Nas had the perfect response to the trolls. “y’all have tweeted 10 different versions of this tweet,” he replied, while touting his stats. “meanwhile my album has already sold almost 2 million copies worldwide and is already the 8th most streamed project of the year. cry & cope.”
He also retweeted an account that claimed Montero has sold an impressive 1,947,000 units worldwide in just two weeks.
The album, which features appearances from Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, and Jack Harlow, has also spawned three top 10 singles including “Montero (Call Me By Your Name),” “Industry Baby,” and “That’s What I Want.”
On Friday (Oct. 1), a series of mysterious billboards started popping up across the globe with the number “30,” which could signal Adele’s first album in six years.
Fan accounts shared photos of two “30” billboards appearing in Dubai and Ireland. “Something is happening,” tweeted Adele Daily.
To add to the speculation, Adele’s close friend Jedidiah Jenkins also liked tweets that reported about the billboards.
Fans speculated that the 15-time Grammy winner could be dropping new music as soon as this week after Canadian radio host Mauler tweeted, “New Adele. This week.” However, the tweet was later deleted.
Another fan page cited a “very reliable insider” who said that Adele’s long-awaited fourth album had been finalized and that a video for the lead single was recently shot.
The 30 title would follows Adele’s previous pattern of naming albums after her age following 2018’s 19, 2011’s 21, and 2015’s 25.
Meek Mill is back with his first album in three years.
Expensive Pain, the Philly rapper’s fifth studio album, arrives on the heels of the singles “Blue Notes 2” with Lil Uzi Vert and “Sharing Locations” featuring Lil Durk and Lil Baby. The 17-track set also includes collaborations with Young Thug, Kehlani, A$AP Ferg, Moneybagg Yo, Giggs, Vory, and Brent Faiyaz.
Meek pays tribute to his late protégé Lil Snupe on “Angels,” and serves up a third chapter in his “Cold Hearted” series that began in 2015. The previously-released “Flamerz Flow” is also included as a bonus track.
“I think the people going to be able to identify when they hear this album,” Meek told Apple Music of the follow-up to 2018’s Championships. “I got a lot of energy but I’m not screaming on a lot of records. You can hear me more clear because I’m expressing myself.”
To celebrate the release, Mill will perform the album in its entirety during his “Expensive Pain: Meek Mill & Friends” playback concert on Oct. 23 at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
50 Cent wants to share the screen with Nicki Minaj.
During his appearance on “Jalen Rose: Renaissance Man Podcast,” the hip-hop mogul was asked who he would want to star alongside in a romantic comedy and Nicki was the first name that came to mind.
“You know who would probably be fun to work with? Nicki,” said Fif. “Nicki Minaj would be fun to be in a romantic comedy with.”
Since they both grew up in the New York neighborhood of South Jamaica, Queens, 50 feels a kinship to the “Seeing Green” rapper. “I kinda understand her a little bit more than the other people,” he said. “When she’s being an asshole because she’s telling you, ‘You’re not going to take advantage of me.’”
While not everyone may like her “tough” personality, 50 says he understands Nicki and also defended her relationship with husband Kenneth Petty.
This is not the first time 50 has shared his love for Nicki. While speaking with Lil Wayne on Young Money Radio last year, 50 applauded Nicki for being an assertive “alpha female.”
“I love me some Nicki. This n***a actually happens to come from my neighborhood. It happens to be a girl, but that n***a is tough!” he said. “She be harder than the n***a she f**k with. She be harder and she’s an alpha female! That motherf**ker tough! You see what I’m saying, son? You got to watch her or she’ll go–she’ll do something that’s pulling a move to assert herself.”
50 is fresh off the premiere of his new Starz series “BMF,” which has already been renewed for a second season.
After much speculation and anticipation, Eminem unites with Skylar Grey, Polo G, and Mozzy on “Last One Standing” off the soundtrack to Venom: Let There Be Carnage, the sequel to Marvel’s superhero film.
On the cinematic track, Em stings with a vicious verse on which he reflects on his career. “Ever since I put out the EP to the hype of 2003 me / You ain’t seen the struggle to make it out the DP / ‘Cause I made it somehow look easy,” he raps before Skylar sings the hook.
Back in 2018, Em released “Venom” off the original Venom soundtrack, which also appeared on his album Kamikaze. This marks the first music from Slim Shady since his “Killer (Remix)” with Jack Harlow and Cordae in May.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage, starring Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, and Naomie Harris, opens in theaters Friday.
Earlier tonight, Eminem made a surprise appearance at the grand opening of his new restaurant Mom’s Spaghetti in downtown Detroit. The concept restaurant, which was launched in 2017 as a pop-up, features menu items inspired by his legendary “Lose Yourself” lyrics.
In honor of his birthday, the 6 God celebrated his mentor at a private dinner with close friends in Miami. At one point, Drake got out of his seat and raised a toast to Tunechi, who turned 39 on Monday. During his heartfelt speech, he praised the man who changed his life when he signed him to Young Money over 12 years ago.
Despite over a decade of friendship, Drake admitted that Wayne still makes him nervous.
“I still to this day get nervous speaking about this man because at the end of the day, as much of a brother and a mentor as he is to me, he’s still like my idol and still somebody who puts me in a place where when I start thinking about him, I start thinking about my family and all the things that could’ve went a different way,” he said as Wayne looked on.
Drake continued to bestow praise upon Wayne. “Aside from the fact that you’re definitely the braziest ni**a I know, off top—the braziest out of anybody—but with that comes the most advanced musical ear that I’ve ever encountered. The most poised, the most wisdom.”
“They’ll never be anybody who walks this earth that’s like you,” he added. “We literally have no existence if it’s not for you… None of us without you. I just want you to take that in. All these human beings out here, we have nothing without you. And we love you so much. I’ll do anything for you.”
In honor of the birthday boy, Drake also customized bandanas with phrases like “Best Rapper Alive,” “Weezy,” and “Mr. President.” “@champagnepapi really went all out!!” said Wayne’s manager, Cortez Bryant.
Nicki Minaj also honored “the man who changed my life” with a tribute post on his birthday. “Happy Birthday to my everything @liltunechi,” she wrote.
Just three weeks after giving birth, Cardi B made a surprise appearance at the “Thierry Mugler, Couturissime” exhibit during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (Sept. 28). The mother of two made a grand entrance in a red-sequined couture dress with matching cape and feathers from the designer’s 1995 collection.
“MUGLER MAMI,” she captioned the series of stunning photos.
For her second look, the blonde bombshell changed into another show-stopping black Mugler creation from his 1997 couture collection.
Cardi, who rapped about Mugler on Normani’s “Wild Side,” was swarmed by paparazzi and fans as she made her way into the Mugler party alongside the French designer and supermodel Irina Shayk. Her 2019 Grammy gown, inspired by Botticelli’s “The Birth of Venus,” was also on display.

This is the first public appearance from Cardi since she and Offset welcomed their second child, a baby boy, on Sept. 4. “We are so overjoyed to finally meet our son,” the couple said at the time. “He is already loved so much by family and friends and we can’t wait to introduce him to his other siblings.”
