During Jimmy Henchman murder trial the feud between 50 Cent G-Unit and The Rosemond Organization is a major topic.  New information has emerged the Diddy tried to end the feud between the two sides.  A witness for the prosecution Khalil Abdullah (former drug dealer for Jimmy) testified the Diddy called a peace conference between Chris Lightly (commited suicide) 50 Cent manager and Henchman.  The conference did not go well.  Chris shoved Jimmy in the face and Diddy jumped in between the two an broke it up.  Khalil also testified the Henchman told him to shoot Chris in the leg, but he refused to do it.  Henchman and Diddy had been tied together for years.  It is believe that the two was instrumental in orchestrating the shooting of Tupac at Quad  recording studio in 1994.  Although it was never proved that Diddy had anything to do with the shooting of Tupac another one of Jimmyn associated said he was paid $2500 worth of jewelry by Jimmy to shoot Tupac.

Nicki Minaj, Malcolm X-Themed Cover Art For Looking Ass N*gga Is Controversial

The cover art for Nicki Minaj  newly release record Looking Ass N*gga feature an iconic picture of Malcolm X that many feel is disrespectful.  The photo is a picture of Malcolm holding a gun and looking out of the window.  The same photo  was used by Ebony in 1964.  Minaj has received criticism for her use of the photo.  She had responded to critics in an Instagram statement saying “Do you have a problem with me referring to the people Malcolm was ready to pull his gun out on as Lookin Ass N*ggaz. well I apologize.  That was never the official art work nor is this an official single.  I am in a video shooting for Lookin Ass N*ggaz and there happen to be a photo of Malcolm ready to do the same thing for what her believes in”.  Minaj apologize to the Malcolm estate. “if the meaning to the photo was misconstrue.  The word n*gga cause so much debate in our community while the n*gga behavior get praised and worshiped”.
Malcolm daughter Ilyasah Shabazz disassociated her family from Minaj action.  In a statement obtain by New Youk Daily News Shabazz spoked on the controversy.  “Ms. Minaj artwork for her single does not depict the truth of Malcolm X’s legacy, and is completely disrespectful and in no way endorsed by the family”.  Minaj has also face criticism from some fellas for her verbal take down of men on the record.  Trey Songz has created his own version of the single Lookin Ass N*gga called Look At Yall.  The singer call out women who are only out for money.  He also express his belief that there is a difference between ladies and b*tches.

It is the 10 year anniversary of Kanye West College Dropout album.  Rapper Common now a Chicago emcee who worked with West on many occasion was asked to share thoughts on Kanye West.  Common had nothing but good words for the lyricist from the windy city.  He said West is an “monumental artist” and say his impact on Hip Hop is “unprecedented”.  The rapper say you can not think about Hip Hop without thinking about West.  College Dropout is one of them albums that bridged it bridge a lot of things.  Am glad i am on it.  During the interview, Common recall working on West Be record.  He remember coming into the studio while West was working on beats for another artist.  He was playing a beat that he thought was good for me.  He told me to hurry it take it before the other artist walk in and here it.
Common has not release an album in over two years.  Although he is currently working on one.  The album would consist the greatest music he ever made.  The album Nobody Smiling has something new and special about it.  The music is special but there is also more to the album.  It is like a movement.  We are going into inner cities and helping programs that supports young people.  So they can stop killing each others and they can get off the street.  Currently there is not release date for the album.

February 7, was the anniversary of Big Pun death.  During the celebration for Big Pun at Cipha Sounds Ja Rule explain how Fat Joe and Big Pun caused him to get in a car chase with police.  During a night out with Fat Joe and Big Pun,  Ja Rule was deathly threaten to drink alcohol.  Big Pun (Christopher Rios) loved to get people drunk.  After drinking with the two rappers, Ja Rule  got into a high speed car chase with the police from Manhattan to Queens.  Rule dedicated the story to Big Pun and Fat Joe because they got him F*ck up.

Drake did not like the text the Macklemore sent because he did not think it was genuine.  Drake felt Macklemore should have just accept his award instead of posting his text message.  Drake did not say Macklemore did not deserve to win Grammys for best rap song or best rap album.  Drake did have a problem with Macklemore apologizing only to Kendrick Lamar.  Drake said he Macklemore robbed everyone, we all need at text message.

Arrest Made In The Murder Of Mazaradi Fox And Associate Of 50 Cent

Jamal Scott, 35, was arrest at Hyatt Place hotel where he works.  Scott is allegedly responsible for  shooting up a SUV in Queens on January 3.  The shooting took the life of rapper  Mazaradi Fox (Jamal Green, 42. There was three other in the SUV with Mazaradi. They suffer non life threatening injuries.   Scott has been arrest several times for possoession of controlled substance, stolen property and possession of weapons.  Mazaradi was a know associate of 50 Cent.  Mazaradi appear in several G-Unit video and song.  50 Cent tweeted his condolence to Mazaradi family and friend the day the rapper was killed.

LA Marijuana Dispensary Employee Was Punched By Suge Knight

On February 9, Suge Knight allegedly threaten an employee of a Los Angeles Marijuana Dispensary.  Security footage from the dispensary show Suge arguing with one of the employees.  Suge did not has a medical marijuana card, so he was told to leave.  The situation got heated between the two and Suge punch the employee in the mouth before storming off.  The employee has file a police report, and Suge is now being investigated for making  felony criminal threats.  Suge says the whole situation is a misunderstanding.  He thought he was doing a promotional appearance and which he was going to get paid with marijuana and cash.

Jimmy Henchman Murder Trail Begins

This week the trial for Jame “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond has begun.  He is on trial for the murder of Lowell “Lodi Mack” Flethcher.  Prosecution is going to paint Henchman as a murderous leader of a criminal enterprise who also live a double life as a manager of artist. During an opening statement, U.S assistant Attorney Sam say  Rosemond was known as a executive in the music industry.  He also said Rosemond is a ruthless criminal who ran his rap business like a gang.  According to the state, Henchman paid Rodney Johnson and Derrick Grant  with cocaine worth $30,000 to kill Lodi Mack.  Prosecutor  claim that G-Unit associate death was link to a on going beef between Rosemond Organization and  50 Cent rap crew.
Ex gang members who were also members of Rosemond organization is set to testify against Henchman.  Henchman attorney is trying to have the jury disregard the testimony of the ex gang members because they are facing sentencing that will keep them in prison for life.

Death Row Record Is Being Sued By Dr. Dre For $3 Million

Dr. Dre is suing his ex record label Death Row Record for $3.05 millions in unpaid royalties.  The rapper is suing for unpaid mechanical royalties, unpaid producer-artist royalties and digital sales.   Dr. Dre 48, a Compton native also see a discrepancy in the payments he received from the company.  Death Row Records have not honor a bonus that would bring his revenues from album sales from 18 percent to 20.  Suge Knight the notorious rap exec has not been in charge of Death Row Records since 2006. The current owner sold some of the rapper songs online, paving the way for his current claims via a vis the digital sales.

The Game Was Racially Profiled In L.A

Rapper The Game was pulled over in LA and had his Rolls Royce searched.  He was not happy claiming he pulled over for DWB (driving while black).   Police claimed he was pulled over for talking on his cell phone but he says he wasn’t.  The Game was order out of his car then the police begin to search the car without his permission.  The Game says the officers were blunt.  If he did not let them search the car, they would arrest him.  After all was said and done, the cops came up empty.  He was cited for expired tags and the Rolls Royce was impounded.  Cop source said The Game being pulled over had nothing to do with race.

Fight Breaks Out At Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Restaurant

Last week during the grand opening of Love & Hip Hop stars (Benzino and Stevie J) Atlanta restaurant a fight broke out between Benzino ex girlfriend Karlie Redd and his fiance Althea Hart.  Benzino say “everything was sensationalize” there were no bottles thrown, no fists were thrown, no guns were pulled out”.  Video taken at the location show Stevie J along with Love & Hip Hop co-stars Shay Johnson and Joseline Hernandez involve in the altercations.  Benzino ex Karlie Red denies being involve in the fight.  In a statement Karlie said “The reality is we are in a time when everyone want their shine. their few minutes of fame and I get that, but I assure you I was not involved in any fighting nor was I knocked out”.

Mase wanted to punch J. Cole after being dissed

Mase says “he did not fight J. Cole because he realized he was “too grown to be knocking light skinned people out.”  Mase thought J. Cole publicly dissed him so he wanted to punch him.  The New York, Harlem native denies have beef with Cam’ron.  Mase the ex Bad Boy Records artist say “new artist don’t take diss records as seriously as rappers in decades previous.  Although Mase wanted to punch J. Cole, he like him as an artist.
It was rumored that J. Cole was involved in an altercation with Diddy last August, a Mase collaborator.  Both artist denied a fight took place.  Mase during a interview with 107.5 talked about reuniting with his Harlem World companions.  Mase is currently working on his next album.  The project will be influenced by his early songs and freestyles.

Ice Cube Is Being Called Out By Kokane For Doing Something Foul

While Ice Cube movie Ride Along is a huge hit grossing over $90 million, his new venture a movie based on rap group N.W.A is facing criticism.  Kokane a Ruthless Records rapper say the N.W.A. biopic which is being produced by Cube’s Cubevision may not be painting an accurate account of Eazy E the founding member of the group.    Kokane want to get on the Arsenio Hall show so he can talk about Protecting the Ruthless Legacy.
Kokane do not fault Cube for doing this movie but he think Cube is doing something wrong and foul.  He believe Cube is purposely leaving out certain information that is vital to the story.  No one involve in the production of the movie has tried to contact Kokane, any of Eazy E kids or Above the Law asking them to provide information for the movie.

A search has begun for Scarface’s missing son who is Autistic

Scarface is currently helping in the search for his missing son 20 year old Brandon Jordan who is Autistic.   Brandon has been missing since January 30th.  Brandon mom said last Wednesday Brandon became agitated and storm out of the house.  Brandon reside in a Leimert Park home while he studies music at West Los Angeles Colleges.  Brandon was last seen wearing gray pants, black sandals and a hood black sweat shirt.

French Montana arrest at a pre Superbowl party.

Rapper French Montana along with two other rappers Chinx Drugz and Jadakiss was arrested at a Brooklyn Night Club on January 31.  Chinx Drugz and Jadakiss was release the next day.  French Montana said his arrest was due from a warrent stemming for 2008.  French said it was a reality check.   Despite the arrest, French was still in high spirit.  He contribute that to having a good lawyer.  French said “no matter where you come from or how big you make it they still wanna see that right there” said French while pointing at the police van.  Although  there is not details on the arrest of the three rappers, Chinx Drugz and Jadakiss did confirm the indent in a number of tweets.
