Court Refuses to Dismiss Murder Indictments for Lil’ Boosie’s Alleged Triggerman

chiefkeef

On Monday (March 13), Lil’ Boosie associate Michael “Marlo Mike” Louding, the alleged triggerman in a man named Terry Boyd’s death in 2009, received grim news for his trial scheduled for March 18th.

They 20-year-old, who was 17 at the time of the alleged murders was told by a judge that the courts are refusing to dismiss one of his first-degree murder indictments and have declined to suppress incriminating statements he allegedly gave Baton Rouge police in 2010.

According to Baton Rouge’s newspaper The Advocate, The East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney’s Office alleges Torence “Lil Boosie” Hatch paid Louding to kill Terry Boyd.

Louding has repeatedly denied killing anyone, telling the jury at Lil Boosie’s trial that he had no involvement in anyone’s murder.

According to reports, Boyd was shot while sitting on a couch at a house on Vermilion Drive on Oct. 21, 2009 through a window.

Louding also is charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of local up-and-coming rapper Chris “Nussie” Jackson on Feb. 9, 2009; Marcus Thomas on April 25, 2009; and Charles Matthews and Darryl “Bleek” Milton on April 1, 2010. He is charged with second-degree murder in the killing of Michael Smith on Dec. 18, 2009.

A jury acquitted Boosie last May on first-degree murder charges in the slaying of Boyd, aged 35.

But while Louding hopes to be acquitted of his charges, Adrian Pittman, the alleged getaway driver, plead guilty last November to manslaughter and will be sentenced April 24 by the courts.

In Louisiana, first degree murder charges are carried out with death by lethal injection, or life in prison.

Luckily for Louding, he will be tried as a juvenile, as he was only 17 at the time he allegedly committed the crimes.

No word on how this could affect Lil Boosie at the time of print, more news as details emerge.

SOURCE:(HIPHOPDX) The D.O.C. speaks on “We Want Eazy,” post-crash depression, and more with “Playboy” magazine.

It’s not often that legendary Dallas rapper The D.O.C. opens up to the masses, but Playboy magazine was able to secure a rare and quite candid interview with The D.O.C. for the publication’s April 2013 issue.

During his chat with Playboy, the Hip Hop icon spoke on helping craft “We Want Eazy,” the Dr. Dre and MC Ren-assisted record that would later be featured on Eazy-E’s debut album Eazy-Duz-It.

“Dre takes me to the studio and I meet Eazy, and Ren, and Yella. And Dre puts on this drum beat and he says, ‘Can you write me something?’ You know, it took about 10-15 minutes and that song was ‘We Want Eazy.’ Ended up being the guys first single,” The D.O.C. revealed.

The D.O.C. also touched on the car crash that took his voice and the depression that soon followed.

“The whole West Coast movement changed direction the night I had that accident,” said The D.O.C. “Once that shit happened I was just out of there. I didn’t care about anything, but getting drunk. Getting high and trying to get away from that pain of not being able to do the one thing that I was good at.”

Not one to let his lyrical dreams dissipate, The D.O.C has taken his talents to his hometown of Dallas, Texas by helping talented up-and-comer’s find a little shine of their own.

“You can’t let go of the dream that easy man. They all say you got such a story. You got such a story to tell and [it’s] so powerful and it’s so positive,” the rapper explained. “And that’s where I’m at right now. Dallas, Fort Worth is where my heart is. I want to pluck the young, deserving people from this city and give them the benefit of those experiences and see if I can get some shine down here because they deserve it too.”

jay-z-special-announcement

SOURCE:(AllHipHop News) As one of the most famous couples in the world, Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s private lives are constantly under public scrutiny, but now the two superstars are among a handful of celebrities whose personal financial information has been thrown into the public sphere as well.

According to TMZ, besides Jay-Z and Beyoncé, the social security numbers, mortgage reports, credit card data, banking statements, and other information of Paris Hilton, Mel Gibson, Ashton Kutcher, Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears, Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, FBI Director Robert Mueller, and Los Angeles Police Department Chief Charlie Beck were also posted on an undisclosed Internet site.

Billboard reports that the Twitter handle associated with the website where the information was revealed also contained an anti-police message written in Russian.

The page featuring LAPD Chief Beck included the phrase “#YouCantCornerTheDorner” referring to former Los Angeles police officer Christopher Dorner who went on a killing spree last month mostly targeting other LAPD officers after he felt he was unfairly removed from the force. Dorner has become somewhat of a cult figure and a symbol of the fight against police corruption in some circles.

“People get mad at us, go on the Internet and try to find information about us, and post it all on one site,” said Los Angeles police Commander Andrew Smith.

The hackers did not explain how they received the information of any of the victims or why those particular individuals were chosen as targets.

The FBI and the LAPD have both announced that they will open respective investigations about the leaks.

> at City Hall Park on August 27, 2010 in New York City.

SOURCE:(HIPHOPDX)J. Cole shares his thoughts on MTV’s “Hottest MC’s In The Game” list while speaking with DJ Drama.

Although Carolina rapper J. Cole remained heavily sarcastic while speaking on MTV’s “Hottest MC’s In The Game” list, a list he was noticeably absent from, Cole seemed relatively unconcerned with MTV’s annual rapper index during an interview with DJ Drama.

“Somebody’s gonna die. I don’t know, but I don’t really give a fuck. It is what it is. Think about it, from what they say, it’s the past year, I’ve had a quiet year,” Cole joked, according to Rap-Up.com.

The Dreamville representer then went on to speak on two artists who did manage to make the cut on MTV’s list, Kanye West and Future. He explained that musically both West and Future are so far apart they have no need to interrupt one another’s lives.

“Future doesn’t even give a fuck about Kanye,” said Cole. “They don’t even interrupt each other’s lives and they’re not competing on the same level.”

J. Cole joins a growing number of artists, including Kanye West and A$AP Rocky, who have expressed their distaste for MTV’s list.

SOURCE:(HIPHOPDX) Justin Timberlake backs away from a dig he made at Kanye West.

Kanye West ruffled some feathers when he paused a performance to state, “I got love for Hov but I ain’t fuckin’ with that ‘Suit & Tie,'” interpreted as a diss towards Justin Timberlake’s smash single “Suit & Tie” featuring Jay-Z.

JT fired back at ‘Ye during his performance on “Saturday Night Live” this past weekend, swapping out the line “Shit’s so sick, got a hit and picked up a habit” for “My hit’s so sick, got rappers acting dramatic.”

During a weeklong appearance on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” the former boy band member jokingly clarified the dig, playing dumb but expressing love for the G.O.O.D. Music rapper.

“Did it seem that way? I don’t remember that. Did I change the line? It is live,” he said. “You know, really, everyone, keep calm. Keep calm.

“Let me just say, for the record, I absolutely love Kanye,” he added. “So there’s that. We love Kanye, right?

EXCLUSIVE: Game and Jadakiss Appear In Winter Ramos’ Tell-All Book

winter-ramos-tell-all-book

SOURCE:(AllHipHop News) This year’s April’s Fools Day will not be a joking matter for a few people in the industry as Love & Hip Hop star, Winter Ramos prepares the release of her new tell-all book Game Over.

Winter recently exposed Love & Hip Hop co-host Lore’l’s prior intimate relationships briefly on the show, to the New York MC’s chagrin.

However, in an excerpt from the upcoming book obtained by AllHipHop.com, Winter details an interesting “love triangle” that developed between herself, ex-lover Jadakiss and Compton MC, Game.

According to the excerpt, Winter described Game as “corny” when they spent time drinking and smoking together, after he kept calling her ghetto. The interesting part of the excerpt is that while she was getting wasted with Game, her mind was on Jadakisss, whose real name is Jason Phillips.

After leaving Game’s hotel room  in hopes of Jadakiss being in another room and when he was not, the scorned woman sought revenge:

“Jason wasn’t there and hadn’t been there. I got mad. What kind of business could he be handling that would keep him gone all night? Immediately, I jumped to the conclusion and figured he was with another b*tch, although he’d never played me like that before. Out of spite, I returned to Game’s room.”

According to the excerpt, even though the two entered a jacuzzi upon her return to the rapper’s room, they engaged in no sexual activity:

“The moment seemed weird. There weren’t many times where I was with someone who just chilled in a situation like that.”

In an interview with CocoFab.com she revealed that around the time she was about to sign the book deal, Jadakiss sent her a text simply saying “don’t do it.”

Game Over is due in stores on April 1, 2013.

According to TMZ, Glocc sued the Compton, California rapper for a staggering $4.54 million. He is suing Game for: $500,000 in pain and suffering; $500,000 in emotional distress; $750,000 in lost earnings; $2 million for punitive damages; $25,000 in medical expenses; and various other reasons.

The initial incident took place last July, when Game beat Glocc outside of a mansion in Hollywood, California. Game has similarly addressed the situation in several interviews, claiming that filing a lawsuit of this nature “disintegrates your street cred.” At the top of the year, Glocc also claimed that he knocked out Game’s manager.
