Nas Hit With $10 Million Lawsuit

1222-nas-2

The concert promoter who says he was taken hostage at gunpoint and held for ransom — all because Nas was a no-show for a gig — is now suing the rapper for $10 MILLION.

As TMZ first reported, Patrick Allocco says he was kidnapped in December 2011 in Angola because Nas failed to show up for a New Year’s Eve concert after taking a $300,000 pay day.

Allocco says he was held as ransom by Angolan promoters and their “henchmen” because they wanted their cash back. He was finally released in February 2012.

According to a new federal lawsuit filed Friday, Allocco wants the rapper to pay for what happened to him. Specifically, he claims he was held captive for 50 days — during which time he says he was beaten and threatened constantly.

Allocco is suing Nas for $10 million, claiming he suffered psychologically, physically and financially. He claims that while stuck in Angola, he was unable to do business … and as a result lost his home and his company.

We reached out to Nas, but so far no word back.

Trae Tha Truth recounts the hours after he was shot this Summer.

On June 20, Trae tha Truth was rushed to the hospital after being shot outside of a strip club. Lucky to survive, Trae was not met with the best reception at the hospital.

“The lady left me bleedin’ like two hours in the bed by myself, like nobody else came in there,” said Trae in an interview with MTV’s “RapFix Live”.

Trae went on to describe how the hospital staff were concerned about the supporters who congregated outside of the hospital. “It was blood all over the bed, they had to change the sheets, the mattress,” he recalled.

Trae revealed that he didn’t know the severity of the incident, which left three people dead and another paralyzed. “I didn’t find none of this out until Homicide came to come and take me away,” he said. “The way I came in the hospital with a hole in my back was the same way I left. I didn’t get no bandage, I ain’t get no stitches, they didn’t take the bullet out, none of that.”

Drake ‘asks judge to dismiss $16M lawsuit

Drake has asked a judge to dismiss a case filed against him by stakeholders of a New York City nightclub neighbouring the scene of his reported brawl with Chris Brown.

The singers are believed to have clashed at W.i.P in June, with several partygoers emerging injured from flying bottles and fists as their entourages went head-to-head.

Bosses at Entertainment Enterprises, who own a large stake in its sister nightclub Greenhouse, claim they lost millions due to the ‘backlash of bad press’ after the fracas; but Drake says he’s not to blame and the case should be thrown out, according to TMZ.

Legal filings obtained by the website claim Greenhouse, which shares the same building and liquor license as W.i.P, has lost significant earnings since the incident, including a lucrative multi-million dollar deal.

Executives at Entertainment Enterprises are reportedly suing the entertainer for $16 million.

So the 26-year-old Canadian is reportedly seeking to get the case dismissed.

But the website also reports that Drake will testify that Greenhouse’s image was already in the gutter and that the New York Times describe it as a ‘dangerous’ place to party, and as having ‘a history of violence and other problems.’

He will also point out to the judge that the club was almost shut down in 2011 by the New York Police Department and had its liquor license previously suspended due to ‘a string of violent incidents’, according to the website.

Chris Brown has previously hit back about being sued himself for the club’s so-called tainted reputation, with his lawyer Mark Geragos branding it ‘a frivolous lawsuit.’

Entertainment Enterprises initially filed the lawsuit in August and stated their high profile deal had been called off because the other party thought ‘the Greenhouse marks were now associated with the kind of violent, life-threatening riot engaged in by [Brown and Drake], and that they were now worthless.’

The lawsuit claims both Brown and Drake had arrived at W.i.P. with an entourage of ‘at least 15 heavily built men trained and/or experienced in hand-to-hand and weapons combat’.

The musicians’ romantic rivalry over pop star Rihanna allegedly sparked the brawl.

Brown and Drake ‘crossed paths in one of the nightclubs and began to fight violently with each other’ and ordered their drunk hangers-on to join in, the lawsuit says.

The flying bottles ‘terrorized patrons,’ who ducked for cover behind each other and shielded themselves with tables and banquettes, the lawsuit continues.

Nearly two dozen people were hurt in the rampage, according to reports, and several injured club-goers have sued Greenhouse, including NBA star Tony Parker, who is seeking $20 million after his eye was hit with a shard of glass.

Bosses at W.i.P are seeking to have that lawsuit dismissed.

Gunplay-French_50_Cent-hhdx

Gunplay points to government conspiracy in the tragic shooting that took place at Sandy Hook Elementary school.

The world has been mourning the loss of those slain in the senseless shooting that took place last week at Sandy Hook Elementary in Connecticut.

While the attacker has been identified and confirmed as Adam Lanza, rapper Gunplay believes that the shooting was actually orchestrated by the government through conspiracy.

In a series of tweets that he later deleted, the Maybach Music Group affiliate said that the government was behind the tragic incident. “Government killed dem kids to take our guns away. Another 9/11. Dont get it twisted,” he wrote. “Yall are sheeple 4 thinking da government aint gotta hand in every crisis since the great depression.”

He then followed with a tweet that still remains on his page: “Yall got to be da most ignant naive MF’s on earth yall gon see! Trust Obama he knows best. Lol,” he wrote.

waka-flocka-flame

Waka Flocka Flame’s management group, Mizay Entertainment, has been ordered to pay a man involved $501,000 in damages dating back to a 2011 shooting in Charlotte.

A Mecklenburg County civil jury ruled that the company that manages the Atlanta rapper, will have to pay Antonio Stukes $501,000 in compensatory and punitive damages, according to WCNC.

According to the reports, Stukes had approached Flocka  to give him a demo CD, when security guards began shooting, Stukes’ attorney said. One of the shots struck Stukes in the shoulder. Waka’s his brother and his publicist, maintain that the shooting seemed like an attempted robbery.

They told police that when the two vehicles pulled up to the parking lot, three men got out and approached the rapper in a threatening way. Flocka had on $100,000 worth of jewelry at the time and initially, charged Stukes and his crew with armed robbery, conspiracy and discharging a weapon into an occupied property. Prosecutors eventually dismissed the charges citing lack of evidence.

Flocka’s management company, Mizay Entertainment, were responsible for the actions of the security team and were ordered to pay the amount in damages. Let this be a lesson to struggle rappers everywhere; handing out your demo tape may get you popped. But at least in this case, he got paid.

Rapper Tyga shares his Lamborghini Aventador crash with the fans

rapcrash

When you’re 23 and a rising rap star, the world of supercars greets you warmly. Just ask Young Money rapper Tyga, a.k.a. Michael Ray Nguyen-Stevenson, whose spent sizable amounts of his capital on his garage — including a gold-painted (not vinyl-wrapped) Audi R8 and a $376,000 Lamborghini Aventador, which was last seen this weekend on Tyga’s Instagram in a snowy ditch after he crashed it.

Not even the all-wheel-drive Aventador can keep its nose unbent if its 691-hp V-12 gets tested in snowy conditions. There’s not much else known about the wreck outside of Tyga’s own comment “Just crashed my lambo. Thank God for the seatbelt.” Given that the Aventador’s frame is made from carbon fiber, it probably survived mostly unscathed, although the repair bill for any mechanical piece that met with the ground at speed will take several bills.

Tyga does have a few marks on his driving record; he was arrested in Las Vegas and spent a few hours in jail last January after a traffic stop where police found he was wanted in relation to four other traffic incidents, including reckless driving. There’s no point to owning a car like the Aventador if it’s never driven at speed — but lacking the skills and sensibility to drive a supercar safely can quickly ensure young money never has the chance to grow old.

TREY SONGZ Arrested for Assaulting a Woman with $$$

treysongz

Throwing dollar bills at a woman (aka MAKING IT RAIN!!!) seems harmless, but it got Trey Songz arrested for assault in New York recently … TMZ has learned.

Songz (real name Tremaine Neverson) had an album release party on August 21 at a gentleman’s club in Queens. According to police, somewhere between 4:00 and 4:15 AM on the 22nd, Trey became involved in an altercation inside the club.

Cops described the incident this way in the criminal complaint: “Tremaine Neverson, did throw a sum of United States currency at the complainant and said sum of United States currency struck the complainant’s left eye causing substantial pain to her left eye.”

It is unclear if the woman in question was … how do we say this nicely … a stripper.

Songz was not arrested that night, but rather a month later for misdemeanor assault. Songz had a court date in NY on November 1 and an order of protection was issued. He is due back in court in February.

We reached out to a rep for Songz, but have yet to hear back.

Judge Rules Meek Mill Cannot Tour This Month!

5-meekmill

UPDATE: Attorneys for Meek Mill asked a judge to lift any ban on travel restrictions so he can tour easier.

Meek Mill has asked a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania judge to loosen travel restrictions so he doesn’t have as hard a time touring.

According to NBC 10 Philadelphia, attorneys for the Maybach Music Group rapper filed a request last Wednesday for a Philly judge to lift any ban on travel so he can have an easier time touring. Defense attorney Dennis Cogan says that Mill’s earning power is limited by the ban.

But the 25-year-old artist may not be in luck. Assistant District Attorney Noel DeSantis told The Philadelphia Inquirer that she will oppose the request, stating that he was already cut a break in serving only eight months of an 11- to 23-month sentence for being found guilty of assault, gun possession and drug charges.

“I’m out here doing good. Until I start doing bad, that’s when I think it should be a problem,” said Mill in an interview with NBC.

UPDATE: According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, Municipal Court Judge Genece Brinkle ruled that Meek Mill will not be able to tour this month. He planned to appear on “The Conan O’Brien Show” on Wednesday before jetting to Africa, but his tour will now “be limited to the streets of North Philadelphia.”
