It’s just not something I should have to think about.”

Cutler will appear in local court on Wednesday, November 21

Meek Mill Recalls Going To Jail At 18 Years Old

Meek Mill says his time in prison changed his life.

Meek Mill just released his debut album Dreams and Nightmares. But the way the young rapper tells it, his life could’ve gone in a completely different direction.

“I was 18, just turned [into] an adult when I went to jail,” he said, explaining the event that completely changed his life in MTV’s “This is How I Made It.” “I caught a case and had 57 charges. Young guys that get caught with a gun — they’re gonna automatically charge you up. All I did was walk outside with a gun.”

Meek’s time in jail made it clear to the Philadelphia emcee: he needed to change his direction in life. “In jail you ain’t got nothing to do but sit in there and think all day.”

Meek explained how his time in prison helped develop his dedication to making music. “I just [didn’t] wanna die, I [didn’t] wanna get shot or get life in jail because that’s the usual script. I ended up going about 20-something months and realized that wasn’t the place I wanted to be.”

“I really put my life into rapping,” he added. “They let me out on house arrest and the judge gave me permission to go to the studio, and that taught me another lesson because every day [I was] going straight to the studio for 12 hours straight and I started putting up six songs a day for three months straight — that’s what gave me my little jump start.”

Billionaire Offers Boxer Floyd Mayweather and Rapper 50 Cent $5 Million To Fight In The Ring

While it still remains to be seen if rapper 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather Jr. are friends or not, a group of investors that includes a billionaire, are offering the pair $5 million to settle their differences.

Billionaire Alki David and partner Damon Feldman of Celebrity Boxing offerings the pair $5 million for a three-round celebrity boxing match.

50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather Jr. have been embroiled in a war of words and tweets over the past month, after a falling out, apparently over business.

The issue appears to be over a proposed boxing venture the pair were supposed to do together called The Money Team Promotions.

But shortly after Floyd Mayweather Jr. was released from prison in August, 50 claimed prison had “changed” Mayweather.

He then announced he was creating a new promotion company with Floyd’s rival, Manny Pacquaio, which was confirmed by Pacquaio’s business manager Michael Koncz.

More recently, on November 1, 50 Cent announced he was done with The Money Team Promotions.

Their war of words escalated over the weekend, when the pair traded shots via Twitter.

According to David, the show would air on FilmOn.com and BattleCam.com, two ventures that David owns or is an investor in.

To make things safe, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and 50 Cent would fight three 2-minute rounds in head-gear, along with big celebrity boxing gloves.

The proposed fight will happen in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 14, if either of the two men accept the offer.

Both 50 Cent in Floyd Mayweather Jr. have been silent on their Twitter accounts over the past several days.

Game Says He Never Pulled A Gun On 40 Glocc

Game also says that he’ll probably have to pay 40 Glocc for taking “his street cred.”

Game stopped by Power 105’s The Breakfast Club, touching on a handful of topics including his upcoming album Jesus Piece and his VH1 reality show. He also spoke about his now infamous fight with 40 Glocc that prompted him to file a lawsuit. The West Coast rapper said that he’ll probably end up having to settle with 40 as an apology for taking his street cred.

“My money Nia Long, so I’ll pay him. It’s cool,” he said. “I didn’t settle but I’m pretty sure it’s going ot come to that because I’m pretty sure I owe him some money. Once he got knocked out, I pretty much took his street cred. So all he had left to do was sue. If he can get a Prius off of me, it’s all good.”

He also denied that he ever pulled a gun on 40, which he claims in the suit. Game says that he was beating him with one hand and holding a camera in the other, but that 40 made that up to make him look worse.

“I only got two hands. I had the camera in one hand and was hitting him with the other one. Nobody pulled guns on that dude. But I guess that makes it better for the lawsuit or whatnot.”

Kat Stacks Fights For Freedom After Two Years In Prison

Kat Stacks continues to fight for her freedom after two years of being detained by officers from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement ICE).

Kat Stacks, born Andrea Herrera, was one of Hip-Hop’s most famous hanger-ons, until she was arrested in November of 2010 on a felony immigration charge.

November 5 marked a total of two years of incarceration for Kat Stacks, who is being held at the immigration detention center in Louisiana.

A new online campaign that has been launched on behalf of Kat Stacks labeled her a victim of sex trafficking as a minor.

The “DREAMer” campaign is attempting to free Kat Stacks, by encouraging fans to call a number, email or send a tweet.

“When she was 19 Andrea was finally able to reunite with her family; to cope with it all she started the persona ‘Kat Stacks,’” a statement read. “Kat used this persona to connect with other victims as well as connecting with artists. These artists have even used Kat Stacks in their lyrics.”

A rep for the campaign claims a judge is using Kat Stacks’ online personality as a catalyst to deport her to her homeland of Venezuela.

Kat Stacks is seeking to get a green card and citizenship under The Dream Act, a new two-year reprieve passed by the government, for illegal immigrants who were brought to the United States as children.

The “DREAMer” campaign asks fans to send the following message on behalf of Kat Stacks:

Is The Game Going To Sign With Rick Ross’ MMG or Baby’s Cash Money?

West Coast rhyme slinger the Game  fifth and potentially final studio album, Jesus Piece, is his last under contract to Jimmy Iovine‘s Interscope Records. It appears the Compton wordsmith may take his talents to South Florida. While the “Celebration” rapper was a former high school basketball player, he’s not pulling a LeBron James “decision” move, though.

Instead, the former G-Unit soldier could be considering a move to Miami heavyweight Rick Ross‘ Maybach Music Group imprint, according to an appearance on MTV’s RapFix Live this week.

“This is my last studio album on Interscope,” Game told host Sway, who also had Swizz Beatz on the infamous red couch. “I talked to Ross the other day, shout-out to MMG, Wale and Meek Mill, they started off the MMG Tour in Penn State. I rocked with them onstage and I was talking to Ross, and Ross was like, ‘What’s up with that last album?’ and I’m like, ‘You know, it’s the last album.’ And he was like, ‘Nah, never mind, Jimmy ain’t gonna let you go.’ So that and talking to Baby and Weezy two, three times a week, you know, it’s cool. I kinda feel like a free agent in the league.”

Known for his tough talk on wax, Game expressed humility in still having support from the fans although he feels like he could have been a larger artist if he had compromised his art. “I feel like my career would have been a little more successful or a little bit bigger if I had sold out, if I didn’t speak my mind, I wasn’t down for that.”

Fans can expect Jesus Piece on the shelves on December 11.

Lil Wayne Blames “A Pissed-Off” Jury For Documentary Lawsuit

Sources close to Lil Wayne says he thinks the jury purposely punished him in the trial.

This past Monday November 5, news broke that Lil Wayne had been ordered by the court to pay $2 million in his on-going legal battle with Qunicy Jones III over the film The Carter. Now, in a recent report from TMZ, sources close to Wayne report that he’s suspect of the jury’s intentions in the decision.

According sources close to the YMCMB rapper, Weezy F. believes that the reason he was handed a stiff fine was because the jury was “pissed off”  he was unable to travel to Los Angeles due to his medical issues. He reportedly said that had he been able to attend the trial, he could have reasonably shown that QD3 Entertainment’s film was defamatory in nature.

TMZ’s sources also indicated that Wayne believes the sheer amount of the $2 million fine would have never been so steep had he not taken the offensive against the film prior to its release.
