Drake Reportedly Pulls French Montana Collaboration Over Kanye/Kim Kardashian Lyric

French Montana’s new album They Got Amnesia is set to arrive Friday, but it may be missing one big feature.

When the original tracklist was unveiled, Drake was listed on a song called “Splash Brothers.” However, HipHop-N-More points out that the song has been removed from the tracklist on Apple Music and replaced with something called “Fraud.”

Fans have speculated that “Splash Brothers” may have been pulled from the album because it contained a lyric that could be perceived as a shot at Ye.

A snippet of the track leaked earlier this year on which Drake references his rumored relationship with Kim Kardashian. “I’ll f**k a rapper’s wife and she ain’t even my type,” he reportedly raps.

Earlier this week, Drake and Ye squashed their beef and reunited in Toronto, so it’s possible Drake yanked the song amid their reconciliation.

Prior to this, Drake upset Ye with his lyrics on “Greece,” which also seemed to reference Kim. “Rolls-Royce, baby, in Hidden Hills / Bags full of hundred dollar bills / Joggin’ past your wife and she get chills,” he raps.

While Kim has denied that the two hooked up, Kanye wasn’t happy that Drake insinuated otherwise. “But you acted like you did,” he said during his recent “Drink Champs” interview. “It’s like somebody throwing a marble and hiding their hand.”

UPDATE: TMZ claims that Drake pulled the song because he didn’t think it was appropriate to release it in the wake of the Astroworld tragedy, and not because it referenced Kanye and Kim. It will reportedly be released on an upcoming deluxe edition of They Got Amnesia.

Young Dolph Shot and Killed in Memphis

Young Dolph

Young Dolph is dead after a shooting in Memphis.

Law enforcement sources tell FOX13 that the 36-year-old rapper was shot and killed on Wednesday afternoon.

The shooting occurred at Makeda’s Butter Cookies. Dolph reportedly walked in the store to buy cookies when a vehicle pulled up and opened fire through a front window, striking the rapper.

Video of the crime scene has surfaced on social media. Dolph’s camouflage Lamborghini can be seen in the parking lot of the Memphis strip mall.

Bankroll Freddie appeared to confirm the report. “Mane They Just Killed My Ni**a @youngdolph,” he wrote on IG Stories.

Others including Megan Thee Stallion, Quavo, and Gucci Mane took to social media to mourn the loss.

Just days earlier, Makeda’s Cookies shared a video of Dolph buying chocolate chip cookies at the shop. He had been a loyal patron and stopped by every time he was back home.

Dolph, whose real name is Adolph Robert Thornton, Jr., released his debut album King of Memphis in 2016. His most recent project, Dum and Dummer 2, a collaborative project with Key Glock, dropped in March.

He leaves behind a son and a daughter.

Drake and Kanye West Squash Beef and Reunite

The beef is over.

Drake and Kanye West have officially ended their long-running feud and reunited. On Tuesday (Nov. 16), Kanye shared a photo of him standing alongside Drake and Rap-A-Lot Records founder J Prince at what appears to be Drake’s home in Toronto.

Kanye captioned it with the dove emoji, a symbol of peace.

The two reportedly met up at Drake’s house for dinner on Monday. Drake also shared video of him and Ye smiling and laughing it up backstage at a screening of Dave Chappelle’s Untitled documentary in Toronto the same night. Drake’s arm can be seen around Ye while his song “Knife Talk” plays in the background.

“You have reached your destination,” Drake wrote in his caption.

Their reunion comes after Kanye proposed a truce and publicly invited Drake to share the stage with him at a Dec. 7 concert in Los Angeles to free incarcerated gang leader Larry Hoover.

“I’m making this video to address the ongoing back and forth between myself and Drake,” Ye said in a video, which he posted on Instagram. “Both me and Drake have taken shots at each other and it’s time to put it to rest.”

J Prince claims that Hoover initiated the conversation. “So I met with @kanyewest to pass on the message from my brother Larry Hoover who said he would like to see peace between the two of them,” he tweeted. “Ye received this well and said thanks because he never had anyone that sat him down and explained things to him the way I did.”

The hip-hop titans have been at odds for years. Most recently, Drake leaked Kanye’s André 3000 collaboration “Life of the Party” after Ye posted Drake’s home address on Instagram.

Kanye addressed his beef with Drake during his recent appearance on “Drink Champs,” comparing their rivalry to Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield’s boxing match in 1997, where Tyson bit his opponent’s ear.

DaniLeigh Charged with Assault After DaBaby Calls Cops

DaniLeigh is facing assault charges following her dispute with DaBaby.

The couple got into a heated exchange while Dani fed their 3-month-old daughter on Instagram Live. After exchanging insults, DaBaby eventually called the police in an attempt to make the mother of his child leave his house.

“I don’t want no charges pressed or nothing I just want her peacefully removed,” DaBaby said on IG Stories.

According to Rolling Stone, officers responded to two incidents at the rapper’s home. During their first visit on Nov. 14, DaBaby, whose real name is Jonathan Kirk, claimed he had been assaulted by DaniLeigh.

In a separate incident at the same location on Nov. 15 at around 9:35 a.m., officers responded to a disturbance where DaBaby told police that his girlfriend had assaulted him.

A rep from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department confirmed the two incidents and that two simple assault charges were filed against DaniLeigh, whose real name is Danielle Curiel.

“As a result of the investigation, Curiel was served with a Criminal Summons for Simple Assault. Officers also obtained additional information that led them to charge Curiel with a second count of Simple Assault from the incident on Nov. 14,” the statement read.

DaniLeigh has since moved out of DaBaby’s house and taken their daughter with her. “I left and me and my baby safe … Thank y’all for the support,” she told her followers.

She also addressed the couple’s on and off relationship after DaBaby called her a “sidepiece.” “If that all is side chick behavior bet … I was blind in love and dumb… But aye used to this man embarrassing me on the internet! all bc he know he wrong!” she said.

Amid their dispute, DaBaby revealed the first image of their daughter after Dani’s attempts to keep her face off the internet. “Sad .. That’s how y’all had to see my baby for the first time… evil ass man,” she wrote.

Rico Nasty Jumps Into Crowd After Bottle Thrown at Her

Rico Nasty

Don’t mess with Rico Nasty.

It almost went down after a concertgoer threw a bottle at the rapper while she was performing on Saturday night during Playboi Carti’s “King Vamp Tour” in Portland, Oregon. After the object was tossed at her direction on stage, the “Smack a Bitch” hitmaker decided to stop the show and confront the culprit.

“Who bitch? Be specific, don’t fu**in’ play. Who was it?” she asked the crowd before threatening to throw hands. “Somebody gon’ get this.”

Much to the surprise of the audience, Rico then jumped into the sea of fans as security chased after her. The clip doesn’t show how it ended.

There have been other contentious moments between Rico and Carti’s fans on the tour, which kicked off last month. She recently took to Twitter to voice her frustration over the disrespectful crowd.

“Anti black ass crowd,” Rico tweeted following a show at L.A.’s Forum. “Weak ass little boys wit blonde pubes . Ugh . Get me out of here.”

When a Carti fan told her that he was more excited to see Carti and opener Ken Car$on, she responded, “Those ni**as would spit on u irl 😂 it’s pathetic.”

Playboi Carti’s tour, formerly called the “Narcissist Tour,” still has over a month before it wraps Dec. 23 in Atlanta.

Kanye West Says He Wants to Buy America

Kanye West is on a mission to buy America.

During the second part of his headline-making “Drink Champs” interview, N.O.R.E. brought up a conversation he had with Ye where he told him, “I want to buy America.”

“You wasn’t supposed to bring that part up,” joked Ye before confirming his vision. “I’m going to.”

He didn’t go into detail, but part of his grand plan includes more land ownership and building communities.

He already owns two ranches with 12,000 acres in Wyoming, one of which he recently listed for $11 million, and he is interested in expansion. Tesla CEO Elon Musk invited him to Austin this week, while he also paid a visit to J Prince in Houston.

In 2019, he started building dome-like structures on the 300 acres of land he owns in Calabasas, but his housing project was shut down.

“I said, can I build on my land out there? They keep stopping what I’m doing,” said Ye, while referencing his past issues.

He also spoke with Young Thug, presumably about his intent to build his own “Slime City” in Atlanta after being gifted 100 acres of land for his 30th birthday.

And that’s only part of his lofty plans for the future. Hip-hop’s wealthiest rapper also wants to make himself a publicly-traded entity on the stock exchange. “I’ma take myself public and create a universal basic income and go public for a [trillion],” said Ye.

Kanye West Says He ‘Bootlegs’ OnlyFans

Kanye West may be a billionaire, but that isn’t stopping him from bootlegging OnlyFans.

While speaking with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN during part 2 of his “Drink Champs” interview, Ye admitted that he doesn’t pay the monthly fee for the subscription service and instead gets the adult content for free off Reddit forums.

“I get my OnlyFans off Reddit. I bootleg the OnlyFans,” laughed Ye.

He went on to joke about the backlash he may receive from his admission. “All these OnlyFans [creators] are gonna be so mad at me,” he said.

He also shared his own theory about how men and women interact with the platform. “OnlyFans, women, when they were doing it, it wasn’t particularly for power. It was more attention because in general a woman wants their flowers, they want the attention. With men, we lower our power for just desire. Men, we just be horny.”

One of OnlyFans top creators, Rubi Rose, responded after hearing Ye’s comments. “Let me find out Kanye watching me on Reddit,” she tweeted.

Elsewhere in the interview, the Yeezy tycoon addressed his divorce from Kim Kardashian and responded to those who call him “crazy.” “Anytime somebody wants to say that I’m wrong about something, hide the truth, lie…they say Ye’s crazy,” he said, adding, “I’m 9 billi crazy up out here.”

Meek Mill Says He’s Taking a Break From Social Media

Meek Mill

Meek Mill is going off the grid.

The Philly rapper has announced that he’s taking a break from social media.

“About to take a break from social media … I see too much crazy shit!” Meek tweeted on Thursday.

In his last tweet before logging off, he explained that social media has him feeling “lost” and sympathized with young people who are feeling the same way.

“Being a young kid gotta be confusing as shit in these times of social media….. I be lost seeing some of this stuff,” he added.

This is not the first time Meek has taken a social media hiatus. Back in July, he deactivated his Twitter and Instagram accounts as part of a cleanse, which also included abstinence.

“No socials … no smoking … sex idk lol for a lil min,” he said at the time.

Meek, who dropped his latest album Expensive Pain in October, recently revealed that he’s planning to retire from rap within the next few years.

“I got like three, four more years left,” he told Complex’s “360 with Speedy Morman.” “I’ve been rapping since I was 23. I can’t be performing forever. I probably got two, three more years. I think these the last years I’m going hard with music and I’m gonna go pursue like other stuff too.”

Nick Cannon Reveals His Favorite Baby Mama

Nick Cannon has seven kids with four different women, but he doesn’t play favorites when it comes to his baby mamas.

While interviewing Bravo’s Andy Cohen on his daytime talk show, Cannon played a game of “Plead the Fifth,” where he asked him three questions and he was only allowed to plead the fifth to one.

At one point, Cohen asked Cannon to name his “favorite baby mama.” The audience chanted “Plead the fifth!” but Cannon decided to answer the question anyway.

“I ain’t scared of you, Andy,” he said before responding, “My favorite baby mama is…the next one.”

He explained, “Because some of my past ones could still be my next one.”

The “Wild’ N Out” host has seven children with four different women. He most recently welcomed his son Zen with model Alyssa Scott. He and Abby De La Rosa also share twins, Zion and Zillion, who were born in June. Back in December, Nick and model Brittany Bell welcomed their daughter, Powerful Queen. They also share a 4-year-old son, Golden.

Additionally, the “Masked Singer” host has 10-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with ex-wife Mariah Carey.

Earlier this month, Cannon made headlines after attempting to shoot his shot with Saweetie.

“I made a comment with some emojis on Saweetie’s comment where she said I wanted babies and the whole world came after me,” he said. “I’m not good on the internet in terms of talking to people.”

For now, Cannon is taking a break from adding to his family and revealed that he is celibate. “I’m going to see if I can make it to 2022,” he said during a recent appearance on “Drink Champs.”

Second Man Pleads Guilty in Mac Miller Death

A second man has pleaded guilty to supplying the fentanyl-laced pills that killed Mac Miller.

Ryan Reavis, 38, pled guilty to a single count of distributing fentanyl. According to TMZ, he faces up to 20 years in jail and a lifetime of supervised release, but is likely to receive a lesser sentence for accepting the plea deal.

Reavis was the alleged runner who ended up giving the fentanyl-laced oxycodone pills to Miller’s alleged drug dealer, Cameron Pettit, following orders from Stephen Walter, who previously pleaded guilty to distributing fentanyl.

According to the feds, Reavis was in L.A. around the time the deadly pills were procured for Miller. The pills he received were counterfeit and contained fentanyl, a powerful synthetic opioid 50 times more powerful than heroin. When Reavis was arrested in 2019, a doctor’s prescription pad was found at his home.

A third man, Pettit, has also been charged with conspiring to distribute controlled substances resulting in death, and distribution of fentanyl resulting in death. He has yet to enter a plea.

Miller was discovered unresponsive in his Studio City, Calif. home on Sept. 7, 2018. The Coroner ruled his death as an accidental overdose due to mixed drug toxicity of cocaine, alcohol, and fentanyl.

Will Smith Says He Was ‘Jealous’ Over Jada Pinkett Smith’s Relationship with Tupac

Will Smith is making more revelations, this time about Jada Pinkett Smith’s relationship with Tupac Shakur.

In his new memoir, Will, the actor admits that he felt insecure and jealous about his then-girlfriend’s friendship with the late rapper, who attended the Baltimore School for the Arts in Maryland with Jada when they were teenagers.

“Though they were never intimate, their love for each other is legendary – they defined ‘ride or die,’” Smith writes, according to Complex. “In the beginning of our relationship, my mind was tortured by their connection. He was PAC! and I was me. He triggered the perception of myself as a coward. I hated that I wasn’t what he was in the world, and I suffered a raging jealousy: I wanted Jada to look at me like that.”

Smith admits that he felt a “twisted kind of victory” when Jada ended up picking him over ‘Pac.

“If she chose me over Tupac, there was no way I could be a coward,” says the King Richard star. “I have rarely felt more validated… I was in a room with Tupac on multiple occasions, but I never spoke to him. The way Jada loved Pac rendered me incapable of being friends with him. I was too immature.”

During an interview with “The Breakfast Club” in early 2020, Smith echoed his insecurities about the close bond between ‘Pac and Jada.

“That was a big regret for me too because I could never open up to interact with Pac,” he said. “You know, because we had a little bit of a thing. You know, they grew up together and they loved each other, but they never had a sexual relationship.”

Looking back, he regrets that they couldn’t become friends. “I couldn’t handle it. I was the soft rapper from Philly and he was ‘Pac,” he said. “I was deeply, deeply insecure, and I wasn’t man enough to handle that relationship.”

In the book, which was released this week, Smith also reveals that he thought about taking his father’s life after witnessing him abuse his mother when he was a child.

Watch Teyana Taylor Stop Her Show to Check on a Fan

Teyana Taylor is putting her fans first.

While performing on her “Last Rose Petal…Farewell Tour” in L.A. on Monday night, the R&B songstress paused her concert to check on one concertgoer.

“Is she okay? Bring her up here,” a concerned Teyana can be heard telling the crowd in the clip.

She also seemingly alluded to the legal action Travis Scott is facing following the tragedy at his Astroworld festival, which resulted in eight deaths and hundreds of injuries.

“We ain’t doin’ that, c’mon. No, no, no, no,” added Teyana. “I’m about to retire. You ain’t gonna sue me, baby. I want to make sure you’re good, baby.”

Security lifted the female fan out of the crowd while Teyana checked on her well-being. “Make sure she got some air…You good?” she asked before telling the fan to say “rose petal.” “Okay, baby, you good.”

She then continued on with the show, which is the second stop on her “Last Rose Petal…Farewell Tour.” The nationwide trek wraps Nov. 30 in Atlanta.

More than a dozen lawsuits have been filed in the days after the deadly Astroworld festival, including one from the family of a 9-year-old boy, who was trampled during the stampede and is fighting for his life.

During Monday’s show, Teyana also brought out her daughter Junie to perform “Come Back to Me.”

Summer Walker Slams London On Da Track for Taking Credit for Her Album

Summer Walker is putting London On Da Track on blast again.

On Friday, the R&B songstress released her sophomore album Still Over It, which features writing and production from her ex-boyfriend, who also inspired her new music.

London, who is credited on nine songs including “Bitter,” “Ex for a Reason,” and “Throw It Away,” acknowledged his role in the album’s creation and content by reposting a fan’s comment on his Instagram Stories.

“London on Da Track the first ni**a in history to get paid off his own diss album,” read the tweet.

After his post made it to The Shade Room, Summer responded by airing out her baby daddy, claiming he didn’t actually write or produce any of the album’s 20 tracks.

“He didnt WRITE sh*t & he didn’t PRODUCE sh*t either,” she wrote. “He just handpicked the ni**as he wanted to do all the work and attached his name to it while he was out screwin hoes while I was PREGNANT.”

She continued, “The most he did was sprinkle a wind chime effect on a song that was already done then put his name on it, the last album he actually did the work, and it was great project. He super talented, but for this album, lol no sir, but I guess guess the city boys is up, taking credit for ish you ain’t do and not actually having to take care of the kids you made.”

The former couple, who welcomed their daughter in March, has had a contentious relationship, which is documented on Summer’s new album.

“I know you ain’t care / ‘Cause you always gone / How could you make me spend my whole fu**ing pregnancy alone?” she sings on “4th Baby Mama.” “And where was you at? / ‘Cause you claim you at work / But them other ni**as said they made the beats / So how that add up?”

Summer performed one of the songs on which London is credited, “Unloyal,” on Monday’s episode of “The Tonight Show.”

Still Over It, which features Cardi B, SZA, and Lil Durk, broke the Apple Music record for most streams in a day by a female-identifying artist. It has also become the biggest R&B album debut ever on the streaming service.

Kanye West Wants to Squash Beef with Drake, Invites Him to Share the Stage

Kanye West wants to bury his beef with Drake.

Amid their ongoing feud, Ye is extending an olive branch to his rival. In a video uploaded by J Prince on Monday (Nov. 8), the Yeezy mogul stood alongside the Rap-A-Lot Records founder at Houston’s Rothko Chapel and proposed a truce.

“I’m making this video to address the ongoing back and forth between myself and Drake,” Ye said while reading off an iPhone. “Both me and Drake have taken shots at each other and it’s time to put it to rest.”

He invited Drake to join him on stage as a special guest during a Dec. 7 event in Los Angeles to free Larry Hoover. “I believe this event will not only bring awareness to our cause but prove to people everywhere how much more we can accomplish when we lay our pride to the side and come together,” he continued.

J Prince claims that the incarcerated gang leader initiated the conversation. “So I met with @kanyewest to pass on the message from my brother Larry Hoover who said he would like to see peace between the two of them,” he tweeted. “Ye received this well and said thanks because he never had anyone that sat him down and explained things to him the way I did.”

“I’m looking forward to all of us working together in unison to elevate our communities around the world,” added J Prince.

This follows Ye’s recent “Drink Champs” interview, where he took aim at Drake, saying he would win against him in a potential Verzuz battle. He also addressed Drake’s rumored relationship with Kim Kardashian.

Kanye has been an outspoken supporter of Hoover’s and even met with former President Donald Trump at the White House and pleaded for Hoover’s clemency.
