A new track on Rick Ross’s latest album “Black Market” will have a track called “Color Money” and it was leaked to day and had some shots a Drake on it. It looks like this could be a way to get more sales before the album drops which if that is the case it is a pretty sad trend. This is what Rick Ross says on the track

 

“Color money got your bitch out on a world tour
My lil homie made a million on his girl tour
We back to back and down to whack a nigga unborn
Miami niggas got them changing all the gun laws
So run Forest got some shooters and they dying too
I got more money than that pussy that you’re signed to”

These shots really come out of no where and the track was quickly taken down which makes everyone think it was just to get a buzz around the album but we’ll see if anyone responds to this so keep it locked right here.

Bobby Shmurda has been in prison a long time now ever since his arrest around this time last year. But he might actually be getting out tomorrow after reports has come out that his family has found a way to get the $2 million bond. Bobby Shmurda’s legal team created a bond package with the money that they are hoping to present to the judge as soon as possible and most of the money put up came from his own aunt putting up several of her properties to see this happen. Scott has got himself a ever growing fanbase that show love to every new song he drops only getting him more mainstream attention. TIDAL has been trying to remain relevant since it started up and with Jay Z backing it it’s hard to believe it isn’t a bigger service. Back in April the company fired it’s CEO and 25 employees so the seat has been empty ever since then. That has just changed though because TIDAL has filled the position with a man named Jeff Tiog. Hopefully things really start to ramp up with someone new leading the charge to become a much bigger streaming service.

Drake has not slowed down since he first got into the industry he has maintained his popularity and it seems to only be growing every year. Now Spotify has released their Year in Music lists and it lets us know the most-streamed artist on their service in the entire world. With a user base of $75 million listeners Drake managed to be the worlds most-streamed artist in 2015 which is a pretty amazing achievment. Drake had 1.8 billion streams this year alone and Rihanna happened to be the most streamed female artist. Now we are just waiting on his album, “Views From The Six” which couldn’t come soon enough for his fans.

A while back a woman decided to sue 2 Chainz because he was calling her a “THOT” in a video that went viral on the internet. She was trying to get $5 million from Chainz for damages but she has lost the case according to reports by TMZ. A North Carolina Judgle tossed out the lawsuit saying calling a person a “THOT” is not considered “extreme or outragous conduct”. At the end of the day the woman tried to get a ton of money from 2 Chainz and get him in trouble with the police and it all failed which is great news for Chainz.

 

It almost seemed like the Tupac Biopic would never see the light of day but a director has finally taken the helm of the project. Benny Boom is his name and he is the music video director that worked with people like 50 Cent, Nelly, Nicki Minaj and then some. Benny has studied under people like Hype Williams and Director X so he has got some talent. Taking to his instagram Benny had this to say about this huge opportunity “I am blessed with the opportunity of a lifetime. Telling the story of this revolutionary, artist, visionary, genius, soldier! I will make him proud and uphold the legacy.” Hopefully this project takes shape and can tell Tupac’s story right.

Tonight Kid Cudi took to his twitter account to let his fans know that he will no longer be going on his “Especial” tour this coming winter. The reasoning was cited as production and personal issues but here is exactly what he said to his fans over twitter. “I got a lot I’m dealing with at this time in my personal life too and in order for the shows to be the best experience possible as well as keeping my sanity intact, I need to regroup. I have to.” To make up for it Cudi dropped the title track to his upcoming album “Speedin’ Bullet 2 Heaven” and the album drops this Friday so there is about to be a lot more new Kid Cudi music for the people.

Lupe Fiasco and Kid Cudi have not seen eye to eye in the past and it seems as though Lupe is still holding onto a grudge. During a recent show in Milwaukee this last weekend Lupe rapped these words “P.S.: To all my enemies, you are now forgiven / Except Kid Cudi cause that’s not my muthafuckin’ buddy / If I see him in the streets, it’s getting’ muthafuckin’ ugly, I know you might be a fan / me and him share similar shit and you like, ‘Damn!’ / But that don’t matter, they gonna be back into the chatter”. A phone call from Birdman has surfaced on the web in the form of a video that is suggesting that Birdman actually called the up and coming rapper Slim Jesus. The recording was taken by a person in Slim Jesus’s crew and you can hear what sounds like like Birdman talking though it is hard to make out what is being said. Birdman wanted to represent Slim Jesus though Slim Jesus is not interested in signing any deal he wants to remain independant. Check out the clip below.

During her opening monologue on the Soul Train Awards, Erykah Badu took some time to take shots at Iggy Azalea. She was doing a phone call style monologue because that is the theme of her upcoming mixtape and she had a lot of jokes but only one got everyones attention. “Who is this? “Iggy Azalea? Yeah, hey… no, no, no, you cant come, ’cause what you doin’ is definitely not rap.” She said and the audience laughed and gasped and of course it was all over social media. Check out the clip below.

Ice-T & CoCo have been together for a whopping 13 years and they have just recently decided to have a child together. Their daughter named Chanel Nicole has just been born this past weekend and is healthy. CoCo made sure to post a picture of the baby on her Instagram with the caption “Surprise!!! Look who came early!! Welcome the new arrival of Chanel Nicole, a beautiful healthy 5.7 pound and 18 inch baby girl. Ice and I are so proud! I cried while she was coming out I was so excited to meet her!” Check out the photo below.

Chief Keef really hasn’t had any hit songs since his song “Don’t Like” was sky rocketed by a Kanye West feature but he just hasn’t been able to maintain it. Chief Keef’s contract has been suspended by his label for the last two weeks because they had went off and did a tour without the labels permission. This was made known by the CEO of FilmOn, Alki David in a statement with Vlad TV. “[We are] not happy with the direction they are taking him. Same shit over and over. Limiting his appeal to a wider audience and I’m not saying he should sell out, just be more prolific.” He said talking about Keef’s management who are the ones who set up the tour. Seems all the blame is on Chief Keef’s management but all and all this is not a good look at all.

50 Cent fans wait anxiously for more information about his next mixtape “The Kanan Tap” which is supposed to come before his next album “Street King Immortal”. This hasn’t happened yet though and people want to know what is up. Calling into DJ Whoo Kid and gave the people updates on the projects. First off “The Kanan Tape” is dropping in the first week of December 50 announced and will have 8 tracks and a short film to go along with it which actually was the reason for the projects delay. This was enough to make the fans happy but 50 announced that he has another mixtape after this one that will be called Reloaded but never gave a release date. This is more then enough material for his fans though and it is good to see 50 Cent is bringing a constant flow of music again.

A brand new track which is a tribute to the late member of the ASAP Mob, ASAP Yams was played while ASAP Rocky was doing a show in Hong Kong. This is interesting because the ASAP Mob was supposed to have an album together called “Lord Never Worry” but it was cancelled after numerous delays and this new track could mean an album like it featuring all the members could be coming in the near Future which many fans have been hyped for.
