Kevin Gates is having some set backs with his upcoming album titled “Islah” which was supposed to be in the fans hands on December 11^th. Today Kevin took to twitter to announce that the album has been pushed back to a January 29^th release date. The album will have a total of 15 tracks and is now available for pre-order with some singles like “2 Phones”, “La Familia”, and “Really Really” leading the charge to keep the fans interested for the next three months which is still pretty unfortunate that he will miss the holiday rush where everyone will be buying albums.

Chris Brown is always in the news for something negative and today is no different. TMZ is reporting that an incident had taken place in Vegas last Sunday when a woman named Jakaria was hanging out with Chris and friends. The group was at the Palms Casino Resort and his security made the group turn in their cell phones to them. Jakaria had two phones on her but the security thought she was trying to steal one of the other guests phones and allegedly grabbed her hair and proceeded to throw her to the ground. She even says that she feels as though the security guard would of stomped on her while she was down if some others did not stop him. Though Chris is not directly involved in this she was treated at a hospital for whiplash and police are now looking into it.

The police have raided Lil Wayne’s Miami home seizing assets to help him repay the $2 million he owes to Signature Jets. TMZ is reporting that the cops actually brought a professional out to evaluate the value of his assets. Something surprising that comes out of this is that Wayne had an art collection worth a whopping $30 million which is way more then enough.

Rich Homie Quan decided to get a Pablo Escobar just last night but he of course had to give a little context so people wouldn’t flip out on him. Quan posted a photo on his instagram showing his brand new Pablo Escobar tattoo along with the caption  “if you don’t know the REAL Escobar, Pablo fed his people and took care of his family; and THATS what I stand for…” He added  “if u don’t like it unfollow me. Kno the meaning why I got the tact. Wat man do u kno make 60milliin a day. So I don’t really care Wat y’all think.” Because he must know some people will most likely take offense to this tattoo.

Funk Master Flex of New York Cities Hot 97 went on a rant last night about how New York radio needs to play New York artist first before the artist that aren’t from the city. Future the wildly popular artist from Atlanta responded to this rant over twitter saying “Funk master flex thanks for the extra motivation…u gone play intown music 1st over outtatown music, Dropping so much heat u gone have to play my shit 1st..that’s wat I’m going for #MONSTER2.” Though Future means no disrespect with his comments it really does not help Flex’s case in any way when he wants more local talent on the local airwaves but instead they will be playing Futures upcoming mixtape.

 

The website Genius previously known as Rap Genius is a pretty huge website now days for lyrics to any songs of any and all genres. The site is now receiving support from Eminem as an investor and he joins both Pharrell and Nas. “Coming up we would always obsess over the lyrics from our favorite MCs. Picking everything apart, trying to get into their heads, I still do that today and Genius helps to make it a worldwide conversation. Pretty amazing to me.” Said Eminem in a statement where he announced his partnership.

It has only been two months but Rick Ross has already called of his engagement to Lira Galore. It is being reported that the two had a huge blowout fight which lead to Lira moving all of her things out of his home. This news strangely comes right after Ross was released from house arrest but we don’t know if they split before or after so that is pure speculation. One thing everyone has noticed though is that Lira still has the $350,000 engagement ring on her finger which according to the law should be returned in this situation.

Lil Wayne seems to be having a lot of trouble these days not paying $2 million to the group that leased him his private jet which he eventually has to pay after being dragged into court. TMZ is now reporting cops have showed up tho Waynes Miami home and seized assets on behalf of the very same Signature group. Lil Wayne is in L.A. at the moment but keep it locked right here for all updates on this situation.

Riff Raff is being sued by his landlord for $68 grand in unpaid rent. The landlord says that Riff Raff is a tenant from hell and owes $68K in unpaid rent and damages that has been done to the home. Riff Raff says that no damages were done to the property and that he only paid for the apartment so his friends had a place to stay until he bough his actual house.

 

Rihanna’s highly anticipated album “ANTI” is now said to be dropping next month. Billboard is reporting that a source that is close to the singer told them that the album will most likely drop in December and the only reason it hasn’t dropped already is because Rihanna can’t decide on her next single. This album must be complete and ready for the fans so they should be getting real excited right about now.

Though Rick Ross had came out to say that his MMG family is fine Meek Mill has gone at Wale once again over his Instagram. In the post Meek says “You can’t b friends with someone who want your life…. You can’t break bread with someone who want you slice…. Can’t b on a team with someone who want you to lose…. Can’t b family if it’s gotta b all about you!#MMG X #DC minus the f#%kboy.” As of this moment Wale has responded to these remarks saying that Meek is like Old Yeller and saying he does not evny Meek in the slightest. So it seems like this beef is far from over because Meek just wont let things go.

Today DJ Drama’s ex-wife and him got into over twitter and this lead to his ex letting huge news out to the world. His ex, Summer P Walker, said that Drake’s reference tracks were actually leaked by DJ Drama to Meek Mill over the Summer which of course lead to Meek calling out Drake over twitter and eventually getting roasted by all forms of media. She says that Drama sent Meek the songs just to make him feel better because Quentin Miller did not want to work with him. This is a very interesting angle to this story and it could cost some relationships in the business.

As we all know Rick Ross has been under house arrest for a little while now but now a judge has decided it is okay for him to leave his house. TMZ is reporting that the court has decided that Ross lives far enough away from the victim in his pistol-whipping case so he is not an actual threat to him. Ross must still stay away from the victim area but we have no idea what area that is. Since Ross has been on house arrest he has been putting out a lot of remixes which the fans have been enjoying so hopefully he keeps up this momentum before his next project drops.

Danny Brown has now announced that he will be having a Bruiser Brigade Thanksgiving show. This special concert will be in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan with his whole Bruiser Brigade crew by his side. The show will be November 25^th at the Majestic Theater in Detroit. Danny is also teaming with InsideOut which is a poetry project throughout the city in which people can pledge until November 12^th and it will go towards bringing poetry to more classrooms in Detroit which is an awesome cause.

Ellerbee Demetrius, former best friend and business partner of rapper Jeezy, has filed a lawsuit against the rapper for 5 million dollars. Demetrius claimed he is the reason Jeezy became successful in the music industry and therefore deserved 4 years worth of pay. On Friday, October 30th, the chosen jury came to the decision that Jeezy did not owe Ellerbee a single penny.
