The Weeknd has been having a really good year and has a very strong fanbase. The Weeknd has had very successful singles like “I Can’t Feel My Face” which has been the number one song in the country for a while now and this has lead to his album getting amazing sales. “Beauty Behind The Madness” sold staggering 325,267 copies in its first week and 415,267 if you include the streams. These numbers actually put The Weeknd above all other Rap and R&B artist out this year in first week sales besides Drake.

Just last night a tracklist hit the internet that is said to be from Mac Miller’s upcoming album “GO:OD AM. The tracklist had 17 songs on it and didn’t appear fake at all which is why so many people believed it was truly the tracklist. Mac took to twitter real quick to set things straight saying “Tracklist is fake” on his twitter making sure the fans don’t get their hopes up. The fake tracklist was as follows.

Just today Kevin Gates decided to announce a brand new album called “Islah” and he has just recently released the first single off of the album called “La Familia”. This album is named after one of Gates children and he has even already tweeted out a pre-order link to to the album and the release date is right around the corner on December 11^th. Taylor Swift was ironically the one to give Kanye West his award at the VMA’s for Video Vanguard and the two seem to be much closer now. Swift took to twitter today to post a picture showing off the huge arrangment of flowers Kanye had sent her with the caption “Awww Kanye sent me the coolest flowers!! #KanTay2020 #BFFs”.

 

 

 

Glasses Malone decided to tell Yelawolf just how he felt in the comments of Yelawolfs post about his support for the confederate flag. Yelawolf made the comment “Typical LA shit” made him take down the post and Glasses being a native to the area coming from Watts did not take too kindly to those comments replying back with “I don’t know what u mean typical “LA” shit, Ain’t nothin’ typical about this city here!!! So be proud of where you from but watch what u say about this!!!! Fuck around and get your pass revoked! 100.” Keep it right here for updates on if Yelawolf ever responds to this.

Lil Herb whose new name is G Herbo has signed with Cinematic Music Group. This announcement was made during a press release just today. “G Herbo has the life experience, lyrical dexterity, and the vocal inflection of someone far beyond his years, no one in the game paints a more vivid picture of young street life in America like G Herbo.” Herbo will be releasing a mixtape called “Ballin Like I’m Kobe” soon and will be going on his “Smoker’s Club Tour” this coming fall.

Vince Staples believes that Miley Cyrus needs to apologize for comparing herself to Kendrick Lamar. While talking to i-D Staples said “I don’t fuck with Miley Cyrus, I don’t like what Miley Cyrus said about Kendrick Lamar. She needs to say sorry. It was very salty. Hasn’t she got some Disney money to spend? She should be very happy.” Miley was quoted saying “Kendrick Lamar sings about LSD and he’s cool, I do it and I’m a druggie whore” but Vince says that she was mistaken “She didn’t know who she was talking about, Kendrick Lamar doesn’t have a song about LSD. That’s A$AP Rocky. So is it either you don’t know what you’re talking about or is it all black people look alike?” People really should make sure they have their facts together before they speak to a huge audience.

Taking to twitter today Casey Veggies shared the release date and cover art for his upcoming album “Live & Grow”. This album will have thirteen tracks with features like BJ the Chicago Kid, Tyler the Creator, and Ty Dolla $ign. This album also has some crazy production from Dj Mustard, Hit-Boy, Tyler, the Creator and more so it is sure to turn some heads and fans should be getting excited. The album is out on August 7^th. Azealia Banks makes sure to take all of her beefs directly to social media. The rapper out of Harlem took to twitter to take shots at Miley Cyris and Nicki Minaj just today. “Miley Cyrus HAS to know her shit is whack as fuck. It has to be a joke… Isn’t she making fun of herself? Yes? No?” Azealia tweeted out referencing the brand new free album Miley just released the night of the VMA’s. She continues with the tweet “All of y’all bitches are whack and make boring music and rip all ur styles off the downtown NYC girls, It’s so funny to wake up and see nicki and Miley or nicki and taylor fighting when you ALL make basic ass music. it’s a ki !!!” finishing with “ITS A CONTEST OF THE BASICS.” So as you can see Banks is bank to her usual self but we’ll see if she gets any kind of response from Minaj or Miley and keep you up to date.

J. Coles album “2014 Forest Hills Drive” has just gone platinum passing this mark 9 months after it’s initial release. The album hit this huge milestone just this week with another 7,733 in sales. J Cole let his fans know over twitter by tweeting out “History was made in the Ville”. Congratulations to J. Cole for this huge success and it is well deserved.

Today Apple has announced that they have added The Weeknd to their group of artist to take the stage at their annual music festival in London. Other artist involved include Pharrell, The Chemical Brothers, Disclosure, Florence+ The Machine, One Direction and much more. This is a huge event that spans ten days at the end of September with one artist per night at Roundhouse. All the artist picked to perform a night are known to bring out surprise and special guest to join them on stage so things can get pretty interesting.

Dwight Howard was at the George Bush Intercontinental airport last Friday night where he had been detained for having a handgun in his carry-on. No charges will be filed against Dwight though after they discovered the handgun and he admitted it was his the officers allowed him to give firearm to a friend. Crazy to think that Dwight takes a handgun around with him.

The Lakeland Police Department is currently investigating an incident that took place during Kevin Gates’ performance. According to various sources, Gates kicked a female fan in the chest after she had touched his leg. The victim’s mother spoke out to reporters: “She told me that she was excited to see him and next thing she knows she was kicked in the chest and she was passed out. … It pisses me off. I don’t care who you are- an NFL player, just a regular person or a rapper- you don’t come to anybody’s home town and kick anybody- she did not deserve that.” (WFLA)

Interviewers finally were able to speak to Tyler the Creator about why he is now banned from the UK: “Monday was one of the shittiest days I’ve ever had. I was in a detention room; I felt like a criminal. And then [a Border Force officer] showed me lyrics from songs … literally, a paper with five lines of lyrics, and four were from Bastard songs and one was from Tron Cat. I never perform those songs. Thirty minutes later, the guy comes in, he gives me a paper, and he says: “OK, they’re not letting you in the country.” The paper said I couldn’t come at all, saying that I support homophobia and acts of terrorism, and [it said] some other stuff. I’m just like, one, none of that is true, and two, I was here seven weeks ago. I rented out a movie theatre for a show. I did something really awesome, and it was no problem.”

The mother of Chris Browns child, Nia Guzman, had a representative speak on her behalf of her recent crime allegations: “The allegations that have been made against Nia Guzman are completely false. Nia has not been in a dating relationship with Ba for several months and she has no criminal record and has never took part in any criminal activity with Ba.
