After singing at the Dodger Stadium, T-Pain expresses how he felt before the big performance: “It felt great doing the anthem, man. I practiced once or twice. I was very nervous, blacked out in the middle of it, hands shaking a little bit. It was a lot of people. It made me feel better for my new album. People see a different side of T-Pain and I feel like we’re going to prosper. I expect the album to do what it’s supposed to. I know that’s a very vague [response] but I do my music like Quentin Tarantino, he doesn’t make them for anybody he makes them for himself.”

The new hit movie “Straight Outta Compton” with a historic opening and has not slowed down topping the box office for three weeks straight. The movie has now earned $134.1 million to date and is now the highest grossing music biopic of all time taking out the Johnny Cash biopic “Walk the Line” which grossed $119.5 million. The movie only had a budget of $28 million so they have made $100 million a straight profit from this film which is amazing. If you are a fan of hip-hop and haven’t seen this movie I really don’t know what you are doing you should go give it a watch.

Everyone knows about last nights announcement by Kanye West which was that he will be running for president in the year 2020. The White House has actually responded in less then 24 hours with Press Secretary Josh Earnest saying that they look forward to seeing what Kanyes slogan is. Lupe Fiasco’s third album called Lasers was not well received by a lot of his hardcore fans at the time of it’s release and Lupe notices that. Lupe has taken to his Instagram account to announce he wants any fans that have a physical copy of Lasers and hated it, to send it back to him so he can destroy it with an actual laser. Here is what he said on Instagram “For all you people who really hated my 3rd album LASERS for whatever reason in the universe I want you to send it back to me so I can destroy it with an actual Laser, you not getting any money back or an apology or anything like that. The fact still remains that a lot of people really loved LASERS (Me Included) despite the popular myth that it’s one of the worst rap albums ever but sometimes the myth can be stronger than the truth.” The album really isn’t that bad but if it makes some of the fans feel better that is a pretty cool way to destroy an album.

Rick Ross is supposedly dropping a brand new album next week called “Black Dollar”. Ross just released a brand new single yesterday called “Forclosures” and has now let loose that he will be dropping an album on September 3^rd. This will be Rosses first project since last years album “Hood Billionaire” so Ross really doesn’t seem to slow down at all with his music making. There is still no iTunes preorder for the album through it is to drop on Thursday so who knows it could be a free one for the fans.

And the small box that we are of entertainers of the evening, how could you explain that?

Sometimes I feel like you know all this shit they run about beef and all that, sometimes I feel like I died for the artist’s opinion, for the artist to have an opinion after they got successful. I’m not no politician bro, and look at that. You know how many times MTV ran that footage again? Because it got more ratings? Do you know how many times they announced Taylor was gonna give me this award? Because it got more ratings?

I still don’t understand award shows. I don’t understand how they get five people who work their entire life one sell records, sell concert tickets to come stand on a carpet and for the first time in they life be judged on a chopping block and have the opportunity to be considered a loser. I don’t understand it bro. I do not understand when the biggest album or the biggest video I don’t understand. I’ve been conflicted bro. I just wanted people to like me more. But fuck that, bro. 2015. I will die for the art for what I believe in and the art ain’t always gonna be polite. Y’all might be thinking right now, “I wonder did he smoke something before he came out here?” And the answer is yes, I rolled up a little something, I knocked the edge off. I don’t know what’s gonna happen tonight what’s gonna happen tomorrow bro but all I can say to my artists is just worry about how you feel at the time. I’m confident I believe in myself. We the millenials bro. This is a new mentality. We’re not gonna control our kids with brands. We’re not gonna tech low self esteem and hate to our kids. We’re gonna teach our kids that they can be something. that they can stand up for themselves. To believe in themselves and if my grandfather was here right now, he would not let me back down.

I don’t know what I’m finna lose after this it don’t matter though because it ain’t about me, it’s about new ideas bro people with ideas people who believe in truth. and yes, as you probably could’ve guessed by this moment I have decided in 2020 to run for president.”

According to Drake the rumors that Apple intervened and had TIDAL stop streaming Lil Waynes, Lil Weezyana Fest” is false. Drakes manager, Future the Prince, says that he made a business decision and Apple couldn’t stop him even if they wanted to. Drake and camp say that TIDAL just said it was Apple for publicity.

Fans of Jay Z were so excited when the rapper finally join Instagram on Saturday and he posted a picture of himself and Michael Jackson in honor of Michael’s birthday with the caption “Happy Birthday to the King! Apple Music is not playing around with the TIDAL streaming service and forced them to not stream Drake when he performed two songs while at Lil Waynes benefit concert for kids affected by Hurrican Katrina. Execs at Apple where not happy at all when they found out Drake was confirmed for Lil Waynes WeezyAna Fest in New Orleans which is being streamed live exclusive to TIDAL. Legal letters were sent out to TIDAL stating that Drake could not be streamed on their service and TIDAL actually stopped the stream while Drake was on stage leaving many fans confused with this message “APPLE IS INTERFERING WITH ARTISTRY AND WILL NOT ALLOW THIS ARTIST TO STREAM. SORRY FOR BIG BROTHER’S INCONVENIENCE…WE WILL BE BACK AFTER PERFORMANCE.” TIDAL not being able to work with one of the biggest artist out right now sure does hurt their service a lot.

Two years ago Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian and a video of it leaked on YouTube and they sued the co-founder of YouTube, Chad Hurley, for doing this. Hurley is said to have manipulated his way into the stadium in San Francisco and had even signed a confidentiality agreement but none of this stopped the guy from secretly recording it and leaking it online. Now the situation has finally been settled a good two years later and Hurley is being forced to shell out $440,000 to Kanye and Kim in the next few days.

It was reported that Young Buck could face up to five years behind bars for faking a drug test back in May. The judge has finally ruled that Buck is to complete a treatment program, pay $7,500, and serve a total of 100 hours of community service instead of jail time. So Buck is in the clear for now but he needs to stay on the right path if he ever wants to finish his probation.

Chris Brown owns a whopping fourteen Burger Kings and in order to purchase one BK you need a net worth of $1.5 million or higher. This was revealed by Brown in a segment he did with US Weekly called “25 Things You Don’t Know About Me” Where he states other things like the fact that he is the only singer to be locked up and have a number 1 record at the same time or that he is a man of many emotions. This is a very wise investment though because people love fast food.

Miley Cyrus had made it clear that she did not agree with the fact that Nicki Minaj was angry about “Anaconda” not being nominated for Video of the Year. New York Times interviewed miley about the situation: “Not that this is jealousy, but jealousy does the opposite of what you want it to — that’s a yoga mantra. People forget that the choices that they make and how they treat people in life affect you in a really big way. If you do things with an open heart and you come at things with love, you would be heard and I would respect your statement. But I don’t respect your statement because of the anger that came with it.”

A recent billboard was put up by a church in Toronto which said “For god so loved the 6, God’s love might be hard to understand, but you can certainly experience it.” Apparently many people saw Drake as a religious figure; however, this billboard may have made many others see him as a religious figure as well.
