Hot 97’s TT Torrez was quick to pick sides between Meek Mill and Drake when she allegedly expressed her negative opinions toward Meek Mill. Meek later, on Instagram, decided to throw back some negative comments which were captured by a fellow Instagramer:

“I heard u f*cking Nicki’s ex but leave that off the job please….Now I see why you coming for me…..U can come at me…. But I can tell it’s personal with Nicki….Nobody aint even paying you no attention! Hot 97 been showing nothing but love you can’t just reverse that cuz you f*cking her ex”

A domestic violence lawsuit has been filed against Mr. Papers, formally known as Jeremy Neil, by Lil Kim. Kim and Mr. Papers have a 13 month old daughter together and Kim claims he is trying to take custody of her.

A source says Kim has not allowed Neil to visit his daughter at all since they split up about 11 months ago.

Neil’s publicist denied the accusations of Neil ever abusing Kim or trying to take custody of their daughter: “She’s playing really dirty now with the domestic situation,” said Neil’s publicist. “There has never been any domestic violence…. he’s not trying to take custody, he’s not trying to take her. He is literally just trying to see her. He’s been trying to do it very quietly.”

Tyga says that he made a $200,000 down payment a year ago, on the home, and had permission to move in during escrow (TMZ). According to Tyga, the landlord never gave his bank the information needed for the loan to properly process; therefore, the escrow period did not end when it was supposed to.

September 25, 2015, R. Kelly will be releasing his new album “Buffet”. He chose to release his album on the day of his Barclays Center concert, in Brooklyn.

R. Kelly announced his release date via Instagram: “Brooklyn, New York! I’m bringing my HITS to @BarclaysCenter the day my “Buffet” album comes out September 25th. Tickets go on sale this Friday 7/31!”

Drake has been trending on twitter often lately after releasing the Meek Mill diss track called “Charged up” a few days a go people felt like it was only a warning for what was to come and they were right. Drake has dropped a follow up diss called “Back To Back” and it set the internet a blaze leading people to say that Meek Mill is finished since he has only responded with tweets and no bars. While performing at Nicki Minaj’s show during her Pinkprint tour Meek Mill was met with boos from Nicki fans. Meek was supposed to do his peformance at 8PM but he didn’t show up until 10PM with reports saying that he was actually held up at the Canadian border which could have something to do with the beef he has with Torontos own Drizzy Drake. Meek only got to do four songs before he had to give it up. Check out a clip below of the boos.

Things are always looking negative for Tyga and now it appears that he has not been paying the rent for his Calabasas house. The house cost $25 thousand a month and the landlord says that he owes two months rent. The landlord wants this paid in full by Saturday or they will move on to eviction with a $833 per day rent. Tyga needs to get it together or move to a place he could actually afford because right now it seems like he may be living above his means.

Earl Sweatshirt of the recently disbanded rap collective, Odd Future, has taken to twitter to tell his fans that he wants to change his name. Fans were not happy and were making it clear to the young artist but it he only seemed to think it was funny. Earl says that he doesn’t want to be a joke forever with such a silly name so he may be going more serious with his rap career though that is really hard to imagine after all of the stuff he has done with Odd Future.

Safaree Samuels has released a new diss track called “Lifeline” directed at Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj. Notable lines include “You dream about Drake numbers in your nightmares / But ya’ll hating on me and my little career,” and Safaree also says that Nicki does not write her lyrics and he was the one writing her lyrics for her for a lot of the songs on The Pinkprint. “This nigga bent outta shape with a gorilla face/ My bars on The Pinkprint no one will ever match, now that I’m gone, good luck with them punchlines/ Sincerely yours, Safaree, flatline.”

As previously reported Funkmaster Flex said he had a Meek Mill diss track having tons of people tune into his radio show but no diss ever came but he got a boost in ratings and tons of app downloads. This of course made people very angry and one Power 105.1’s radio hosts Charlamagne Tha God decided to give Flex “Donkey of the Day” for dissapointing the entire hip-hop community which he more then deserves. Last night Funkmaster Flex said he had a diss track from Meek Mill directed at Drake and wanted everyone to tune into Hot97 to hear it. So many people tuned in Hot 97 was trending on twitter for several hours but no diss ever came just the same 9 songs over and over for hours. This set people off and people began bashing the DJ and the radio station all over social media for misleading the hip-hop community for ratings. This lead to an actual petition being made on Change.org for Flex to step down from his position at the radio station. There has always been word that DJ Funk Funkmaster Flex was not someone who was willing to give up his position at Hot 97 for his slot. Despite constant critiques from everywhere for the old man to step down, and give the younger people a shot he decided to stay where he was. Last year Dame Dash was at the forefront of the movement saying that Funk Flex really needs to just leave. Well, today was the last straw. This fraud of a DJ decided to lie to everyone for ratings and downloads of the Hot 97 app that Meek Mill would be on tonight to release a diss track to Drake to no avail. No one has given Hot 97 two hours of listening time since Biggie was alive, and it’s a crime to have taken that from us. The people have spoken and it is time for Funk Flex to step down.” The petition said and as of right now the petition stands at 8,000 signatures. Now this more then likely wont effect Flex’s position at the station but it does reflect poorly on him and people will not forget this or ever tune in again.

Fetty Wap has been a very popular artist on the radio for a long while now with his chart toppers “Trap Queen” and “My Way” staying at No. 6 and No. 7 respectively. This has made Fetty the first male rap artist since Lil Wayne to do this with his songs “She Will” and “How To Love”. His hit song “Trap Queen” has been in the Top 100 for 27 weeks now. Plus Fetty has another song “679” that is at No. 18 which gives him three tracks in the top 20 which hasn’t happened since Eminem with his songs “The Monster” , “Rap God”, and “Berzerk” so Fetty is in a pretty good place right now with his very catchy style.

Shy Glizzy has been arrested in Maryland and footage of the arrest is now all over the internet. There are hardly any details on the reasoning for the arrest but in the clip you see Glizzy on the cop car with several cops around with large crowd of people around watching. There is a report that he is being charged with “disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and obstructing an officer”. Glizzy has already posted bail but keep it right here for any updates on his situation.

David Banner wants $100,000 from Young Money filing a lawsuit today saying he was promised a whopping $137,787 in royalties back in 2012. The tracks mentioned are Waynes tracks “La La” and “Pussy Monster”. Banner also says he wants $15,000 for the song “Streets Is Watching” off of the We Are Young Money album. Lawsuits are all around in the rap game these days which is kind of sad but people should get the money they are promised.

Tyler The Creator is used to being banned from venues because he and his crew can get pretty wild during shows and just in general. But now Tyler has announced via Twitter that he has been banned from all of Australia. Tyler was supposed to perform in four different Australian cities in September but a feminist group started a petition to get the rapper banned in the country and it apparently worked.
