It was previously thought that Lil Wayne may have dropped his $51 million lawsuit against Cash Money. This is now known to be untrue and Wayne has just moved the lawsuit from New York to New Orleans according to his lawyer, Ron Sweeney. “We gave them until [Monday], April 6th to file an answer,” said Sweeney to Rolling Stone. “[Cash Money] said they were going to challenge the venue, so at that point, it was a waste of time and money, so we all agreed that we would dismiss the action [in New York] and Wayne and [his record label] Young Money would re-file in New Orleans.” This case is far from over so keep it locked for all future updates on this case.

A rapper from Brooklyn named Ra Diggs gets 12 life sentences for murder, drug trafficking
Rapper Ra Diggs has been found to be guilty on 21 charges giving him a 12 life sentence term plus an added 105 years. Some of his charges stemmed from the murder of three people and multiple counts of drug trafficking. Today he was given his huge sentence for his actions and the judge added in the 105 years because he said Ra Diggs(Ronald Herron) displayed a “complete lack of remorse” for what he did. Here is a quote from Herron just before he was sentenced “You guys sit here and continue to paint this picture that I’m the devil incarnate, the scourge of righteousness — it’s all crap. Even the most dim prosecutor could have secured a conviction under this atmosphere of guilt they built. They did all but point a big, red arrow of guilty up on that projection screen.” Apparently Herron was high in the ranks of the bloods gang, Murderous Mad Dawgs, who controlled the cocaine and heroin markets in the Gowanus and Wyckoff Houses in the Boerum Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn.
