Juicy J took to twitter recently saying that his rap career may be coming to an end. He began tweeting about all the things he has already accomplished saying “I done won an academy award & done so many great things in my career” really just talking about all the success he’s had in the rap game for the last 20 years. J then went on to say he wants to be on the business side of things tweeting out “I been having thoughts about retiring from rap & becoming a major CEO at a major label to help others in the music business”. Juicy J ended his tweets by saying that his next album “THC: The Hustle Continues” may be his final album.

 

Being locked up for the last few months it has apparently become quite clear to Bobby Shmurda that his record label is not coming to his aid. Though the record label is raking in the money from Shmurdas hit record “Hot Nigga” they have not given the rapper any help with his $2 Million bail. Because of this Bobby Shmurda is trying to dissolve all ties he has with EPIC records as soon as he can. Shmurda told the New York Times “I’m going to try my best to go back on the deal, If not, I’ll give them their music and bounce.” Bobby Shmurda remains in a Manhattan Detention Complex with the rest of his GS9 group facing a combined total of 101 counts.

There has been some talk about Kanye and Drake doing a joint album titled Wolves, sometime in the future. Kanye expanded on this during an interview with The Breakfast Club: “I asked him, and we talked about it, and he said yeah we was gunna do it. And actually, he was sending beats back and forth. I dunno it might happen cause I threw it out here. He might be mad that I mentioned it on y’all show cause he dislike y’all so much.”

Today was Wiz Khalifa’s Son’s 2^nd birthday and he was unable to see him; therefore, he spoke out on Twitter: “ive never voiced my true unhappiness out of fear of the person I was with and what she would do to make me more unhappy of anyone knew. im even at a point where I feel I have no other options and i just need some help.”

Rapper Ghostface believes Drake is a great rapper and says, “Drake is brilliant”: “I don’t look at Drake like these other little rhyme guys nowadays, because I think he can really spit a rhyme. So I put him in a different category.”

During an interview, Kanye West contradicted all of Tyga’s denial about dating Kylie Jenner: “I think that he got in early, I think he was smart,” Kanye said when asked by Charlmagne if their relationship was taboo. “They closer in age than a lot of relationships I know. I knew Tyga was smart.” However when it was pointed out that Tyga was recently on the show claiming the two were just friends, Kanye backed away a bit and said he couldn’t comment.

Dj Yella was asked about the Suge Knight incident and mentioned he was at the wrong place: “I was there the day before,” DJ Yella said. “It’s nothing new. Nothing new. All the person had to do was just not come by. Whatever it was. But he shouldn’t have just come by. That’s all. You wouldn’t be in this mess…Why be there? That’s the only thing I can say about it.”

After hearing one of Drake’s new tracks, Madonna tweeted him showing love for the versus about her: “@champagnepapi i love your new song about me! It’s my favorite! I’m still waiting for you to pick me up…….. Ask D for my address! I knew you were a #rebelheart !”

 

In current years old school rapper Vanilla Ice is the host of his own home improvement show. Ice helps owners with their renovations but during one of the renovations on a property in Lantana, Florida a house right across the way had some items missing. When the police investigated policed got a warrant to search Vanilla Ice’s Palm Beach County house where they found many of the stolen items. The police came to the assumption that Ice was involved in the burglary and he was taken into custody. Vanilla Ice has told police he didn’t know he was stealing property because he thought the house he stole them from was abandoned. Ice lied to his television crew telling them that the house he stole from belonged to him which is how he got the crew to help him move things out of it. Vanilla Ice was released on bond last night saying the whole thing was a misunderstanding and will be cleared up soon.

Getting on the phone with Rolling Stone Lil Wayne shed some more light on his current situation and “The Free Weezy Album.” Lil Wayne has confirmed that he is indeed working on the mixtape while he waits on Tha Carter V and plans on releasing it sometime in March. “I’m working on it every day, man, I guarantee it’s going to be something dope. If you don’t want a musician being creative, don’t get The Free Weezy Album.” Wayne said.

A new lawsuit is targeting Jay Z from an alleged 21 year old love child who is claiming that Jay has blocked all attempts to get a paternity test that would prove Jay to be his father. The 21 year olds name is Rymir Satterthwaite and he says his mom hooked up with Jay two decades ago before he was famous. Jay Z’s lawyers have yet to respond to claims that he submitted fraudulent info to the court to stop Rymir’s paternity test from happening. We’ll keep you up to date with any new information that comes from this lawsuit in the future.

Over the last few months we have seen Iggy go on plenty of rants over social media and have plenty of beefs spanning from fellow rappers to pizza chains. Today Iggy has tweeted this out “I feel the hatred and pettiness I see online at all times is at making me become an angry person and I cannot be that. To become nasty because of the way I feel I am treated would be a disservice to my fans and I promise I will try to keep smiling.” Iggy’s twitter account will now be run by her management.

Jas Prince is currently trying to get more money of Drake having a very successful career. Back in 2012 he tried to sue Drakes management but is now going after Cash Money and Birdman directly. The lawsuit in 2012 was brought forth because Jas was being stiffed on payments from Drake’s management. Apparently that lawsuit never settled which explains why he is trying again. Prince says he was only compensated $2 million for discovering Drake and he believes Drake has made upwards of $40 million for Cash Money. With Wayne and Turk also coming at Cash Money with lawsuits it seems they have their hands full.
