TMZ is reporting that rapper RiFF RAFF has chosen to quit both cocaine and molly. This comes after what he says was a four year addiction to both drugs. Though he is dropping those drugs he still has no intention of stopping marijuana use. Riff Raff came to this conclusion of quitting the two drugs after he was not allow to participate in a celebrity basketball game for charity because he had used drugs the night before. To help with the aftermath of quitting drugs he’s been addicted to for 4 years he is weightlifting. Hopefully Riff Raff stays strong through this and gets completely clean of those drugs without taking too much from his music schedule.

The hit single by Beyonce “Drunk in Love” has had controversy come up recently. A Hungarian singer named Monika Miczura Juhasz also known as Mitsou says that she was sampled and manipulated digitally without her permission. Page Six has reported the lawsuit says that Mitsou’s voice was used  “to evoke foreign eroticism alongside the sexually intense lyrics performed by Beyoncé and Jay Z in ‘Drunk in Love.'” We’ll keep you up to date on this lawsuit and it’s results when more information comes out.

50 cent says Jay Z Will Fail in Boxing Promotion

Jay Z has decided to make boxing a part of his Roc Nation Sports company, as soon as 50 Cent heard about this, he had immediate opinions. Here is 50 Cent’s view during an interview with BET:

“I think they gonna clean Jay up. The sport of boxing is going to clean him up and he’s going to find out it’s not like any other portion of business that he’s been involved in.”

“You can’t just buy your way into it by purchasing existing companies and stuff like that. You look at the roster of fighters…you have to have experienced people around to run it. But boxing is like the fur coat business…we don’t know how much they actually sold the jacket for.”

Rich Homie Quan Addresses Gay Rumors Involving Young Thug

There have been rumors of the two, Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug, being gay. Today, Rich Homie Quan personally addressed these rumors:

“First and foremost I try not to get into all the comments, because it be so many, but at the same time I see them. If I respond back to that, that’s what they want me to do,”

“Everyone in Atlanta know me and Young Thug is not gay. With Thug it’s different, it’s just his slang. I don’t take nothing of it or nothing. I know I ain’t gay, everybody know I ain’t gay… I get a joke out of it, ’cause it’s just so funny how people will take anything and run with it.”

Many people have been spreading rumors that Iggy Azalea was born a man, causing her to react on Twitter jokingly.

K. Michelle and Lil Kim get into it on social media

This beef started on Power 105’s The Breakfast Club radio show when Lil Kim denied she asked K. Michelle to be her childs godmother. This lead to K. Michelle going on the same radio show recently and saying again that Lil Kim did ask her and called Lil Kim “Plastic Penny”. Lil Kim came back at her quick taking a photo of the two of them together and said this about K. Michelle in a caption “insecure pathological lying sick psycho bitch,” “a Looney Tune,” “nobody ass Prozac popping bipolar bitch,” “peasant,” and a  “crazy person.” This was all a part of Lil Kims rant. Then K. Michelle responded on twitter saying very simply “I will not fight with woman who went platinum on PayPal. Sorry for my late response, I was busy winning.” We’ll keep you up to date on any more beef that comes up between these two artists.

Jeezy weapon charges have been dismissed

It has been a long time since we had any word about Young Jeezy’s gun possession case but that all changed yesterday. TMZ reported that the illegal weapon charges have been thrown out because the D.A. was unable to find any substantial evidence to keep it going. Jeezy had this to say about it “I pray this had nothing to do with race but it definitely had nothing to do with evidence. I knew that the allegations and charges were based on zero facts. I’m relieved that the truth has prevailed.”

Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug songs leak

Eight unheard tracks from rappers Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug have leaked online. All songs are said to be from the upcoming “Tha Tour Part 2” project the Rich Gang is working on. The leak even includes a song with Rich Homie featuring Drake which further confirms that it is a legit leak because Rich Homie in the past talked about having a song in the works with Drake.

Rapper Gunplay to officially change his name on January 1st

Rap artist Gunplay is one of the remaining members on MMG to not release an album yet. This is in part because of his name “Gunplay” isn’t very marketable and he is officially changing it on January 1st to Don Logan. He tweeted this out saying “Yo!! Im officially changing my name to ‘DON LOGAN’ new years day!!!” Hopefully this change is what was needed to finally get an album out in 2015.

Jay Z and Russell Simmons Discuss Police Brutality with New York Governor Cuomo

After recently meeting up with New York’s Governor Cuomo, Russell had positive comments to make about their discussion: “I’m very excited about what the governor said. I’m going to hold him to it. I have a lot of faith in him. If he said he’s going to issue an executive order, we can certainly count on it, but we’ll make sure it happens.”

Cuomo’s spokeswoman also shared her piece of the conversation involving Jay Z, Governor Cuomo, and Russell Simmons: “Gov. While rumors are being spread about Dr. Dre returning to the music industry, Bishop Lamont had a few thoughts on the matter: “It’s so crazy when people always try to speak on another person. So it seems as though Diddy really did feel some type of way about the ownership of the “0-100” beat. In a video that has been brought to light by TMZ you see Diddy a few months ago on stage saying that Drake stole the beat. This video was shot back in June with Diddy saying “I gave this shit to this nigga, and this nigga stole this shit from me. But at the end of the day, the shit still hard” and then he has his DJ throw on “0-100” then he starts dancing to it.
