While talking with NPR Kendrick Lamar spoke about where he comes from and the things he had to overcome to become who he is today. In the interview Kendrick actually talks about witnessing a murder for the first time in Compton as a child. "It was outside my apartment unit, a guy was out there, serving narcotics, and somebody rolled up with a shotgun and blew his chest out. We kids play in this apartment unit, riding our bikes or what not, so admittedly it done something to me right then and there, to let me know this is not only something I'm looking at but it's something maybe I have to get used to, you dig what I'm saying?" Kendrick also talks about how close he was to being in the gang life when asked and said  "How close, I was on the edge, fast, in a hurry. You grow up inside these neighborhoods in these communities, and you have friends, friends that you love, friends that you grew up with since elementary and you have their trust and their loyalty. So it brings influence. So no matter how much of a leader I thought it was, I was always under the influence, period. The new dance that all of the kids are doing these days is the very simplistic dab. Now 2 Chainz has decided to take full advantage of that fact and it being the holiday season put out some Christmas themed gear. Now the highlight of it are his Santa sweaters that feature Santa himself dabbin’ and Forbes is now estimating that he has made $2 million off of these sweaters alone. But no worries 2 Chainz put the money to good use putting it right back into his foundation and helping a single mother with an entire year of rent.

Kanye West has just been named GQ’s “Most Stylish Man” of 2015 which must be a huge deal for him being recognized on that level for his second passion. This was announced just this afternoon and he was up against a very popular model named Lucky Blue Smith and it was extremely close. This is actually the second year Kanye has won this award and you know he is loving every second of it.

This year is not going to wrap without giving Meek Mill one more negative it seems. Meek is doing community service awaiting his trail which won’t be until February but it is getting in the way of some important things. He has lost the opportunity to do a New Year’s Eve show with Nicki Minaj in Vegas because he has to be in Philly and under close super vision by his probation officer. That event would of been a big one but it looks like he is going to have to miss out this time around.

It has only been 10 days and Chance the Rapper has already managed to get $60,000 for his “Warmest Winter” initiative which is to get 1000 special coats out to Chicago's homeless. That is not all though the coats are actually made by homeless people too giving them jobs. Mac Miller has steadily been getting more skillful at rapping with improvement with each project he puts out. Plus everyone knows that Metro Boomin is what is hot right now when it comes to getting beats so it only makes sense that Mac Miller would now be getting beats from Metro to make some songs. Taking to twitter Mac told his fans that he is about to get a beat pack from Metro Boomin so fans should get excited to get to hear some fresh Mac Miller music on some club banger beats.

Meek Mill has not learned his lesson after last Summer and with his Dreamchasers 4 project in the works that fans can’t wait for it seems he is dissing Drake in at least one track. A very small snippet of a song off the project has leaked online where Meek goes back to the ghostwriting thing that started the whole beef. Highly doubt this will spark anything from Drake since he is already known to be the winner in the situation but we’ll see what happens. Check out the clip below.

Emoji’s are a big thing in today's cellphone culture for a quick and easy way to covey an emotion through text. Fetty Wap has decided to get in on this and it could not be a better time for him since he is a very popular artist at the moment. Fetty now has his own emoji pack in the App Store and it has a ton of little Fetty wap emojis that look really well made and a lot of his fans will have fun with them.

Everyone and there mom knows about the whole Game beating up 40 Glocc ordeal and how it was all posted online for the world to see. Now this happened way way back in July 2012 but some justice seems to have been served but not exactly what 40 Glocc was hoping for. The Game was ordered to pay 40 Glocc a measly $3,000 for the whole thing though 40 Glocc wanted $4.54 million from the rapper so this is well below that and can be considered a loss by many. The reasoning given by the court is that 40 Glocc was just not being truthful at all about anything that went on.

The new year is days away and now we can expect a brand new project from Wiz Khalifa to start the year off right. The project will actually be called “Project Khalifa” and arrives this coming January and it was announced via his youtube channel. With Rolling Papers 2 set to drop in 2016 as well Wiz is going to have a pretty big year next year. Check out the video below.

Though they never confirm it Nicki Minaj continues to hint that her and Meek Mill are going to be getting married sometime soon. This time she took to twitter asking her many fans if she should have a beach wedding or a church wedding. As of right now the beach wedding is in the lead but many have pointed out that there are no beaches in Philly which is were Meek is stuck for a few months at least.

Though French Montana was given a check for a huge $1 million from Diddy he will indeed be giving it all over to charity. TMZ has confirmed that French will be gifting the whole check to his own charity that he started that helps schools and young kids in the South Bronx. This is awesome news and props to French for doing something so big for the youth in his hometown.

T.I. and Tiny will be having their third child with one another. They have six kids right now but they are on their way to kid number 7 though four of the kids are from past relationships. Tiny confirmed the news to everyone on her own Instagram account on none other then Christmas day. “Thank you to my family for my wonderful gifts, but most of all thank you for our new heir to the throne. This is the best Christmas gift you could’ve gave me.” Tiny said in the short clip and though there is no comment about it from T.I. yet it is safe to say he is very happy about it.

After being shot in the head recently, rapper King Louie posted new photos to his Instagram on Thursday giving everyone a much needed update. Thankfully he looks fine and was sitting in his hospital bed shaking hands with none other then Louis Farrakhan who decided to visit him. Plus things make a little more sense because Louie was not wearing bandages on his head but on his shoulder and side which maybe means he was not actually hit in the head which would explain why it was so easy for him to recover from it. Action Bronson has released his debut album in 2015 and has spent a long time touring with that albums music. Now he has something new cooking for the start of 2016 for fans to get excited about. "I know I haven't dropped new music in a minute but *The Human Highlight Reel* is coming real early next year. #It'sMe," Now this could very well be a brand new mixtape and not a full new album but either way it is brand new Action Bronson for his fans which is more then enough for someone who works as hard as him.
