Apple Music is not playing around with the TIDAL streaming service and forced them to not stream Drake when he performed two songs while at Lil Waynes benefit concert for kids affected by Hurrican Katrina. Execs at Apple where not happy at all when they found out Drake was confirmed for Lil Waynes WeezyAna Fest in New Orleans which is being streamed live exclusive to TIDAL. Legal letters were sent out to TIDAL stating that Drake could not be streamed on their service and TIDAL actually stopped the stream while Drake was on stage leaving many fans confused with this message “APPLE IS INTERFERING WITH ARTISTRY AND WILL NOT ALLOW THIS ARTIST TO STREAM. SORRY FOR BIG BROTHER’S INCONVENIENCE...WE WILL BE BACK AFTER PERFORMANCE.” TIDAL not being able to work with one of the biggest artist out right now sure does hurt their service a lot.

Two years ago Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian and a video of it leaked on YouTube and they sued the co-founder of YouTube, Chad Hurley, for doing this. Hurley is said to have manipulated his way into the stadium in San Francisco and had even signed a confidentiality agreement but none of this stopped the guy from secretly recording it and leaking it online. Now the situation has finally been settled a good two years later and Hurley is being forced to shell out $440,000 to Kanye and Kim in the next few days.

It was reported that Young Buck could face up to five years behind bars for faking a drug test back in May. The judge has finally ruled that Buck is to complete a treatment program, pay $7,500, and serve a total of 100 hours of community service instead of jail time. So Buck is in the clear for now but he needs to stay on the right path if he ever wants to finish his probation.

Chris Brown owns a whopping fourteen Burger Kings and in order to purchase one BK you need a net worth of $1.5 million or higher. This was revealed by Brown in a segment he did with US Weekly called “25 Things You Don’t Know About Me” Where he states other things like the fact that he is the only singer to be locked up and have a number 1 record at the same time or that he is a man of many emotions. This is a very wise investment though because people love fast food.

Miley Cyrus had made it clear that she did not agree with the fact that Nicki Minaj was angry about “Anaconda” not being nominated for Video of the Year. New York Times interviewed miley about the situation: "Not that this is jealousy, but jealousy does the opposite of what you want it to — that’s a yoga mantra. People forget that the choices that they make and how they treat people in life affect you in a really big way. If you do things with an open heart and you come at things with love, you would be heard and I would respect your statement. A recent billboard was put up by a church in Toronto which said “For god so loved the 6, God's love might be hard to understand, but you can certainly experience it." Apparently many people saw Drake as a religious figure; however, this billboard may have made many others see him as a religious figure as well.

It’s no secret that Chief Keef has yet, another child. Owen Phillips, Chief Keef’s spokesman, put out new information detailing the name of Keef’s son:

"Alki David has announced that Chief Keef and his newest baby mama have agreed to name the newborn Sno FilmOn Dot Com Cozart in order to promote the release of Sosa's double album Bang 3 with FilmOn Music and MondoTunes on September 18,"

According to various sources, Drake and Serena Williams had a recent hook up. Common was asked about the matter do to the fact that he and Serena are friends: "Serena is a friend of mine, as long as she happy I'm good. We dated, that's done, that's been done a long time ago, so it's now like we friends. As long as she happy, I'm good."

BillBoard had a poll sent out to the top 50 music industry execs earlier in the year and results from the poll are now here. When asked “What genre of music do you despise the most?” Rap came in number one followed by EDM and Pop. Later on in the pole they actually ask how long they give Tidal with a whopping 71% of the execs saying they give the new streaming service one year or less. At the top of the execs list were Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga which is pretty funny because both of those artist do pop music. You can check out the poll right here.

The Game always seems to be in some legal trouble and he is now being sued by an rap artist by the name of Ariza Obey claiming that he stole the artwork for his new single “Ryda”. The artwork shows a topless woman and man holding onto each other wearing masks. This photo is exactly the same as the one Ariza posted to his instagram account way back in January. Amber Rose and Blac Chyna are known to be really good friends so it isn’t that big of a surprise and TMZ now reports that they are getting their own show. MTV is giving Amber Rose and Blac Chyna a reality tv show and is to be about the women having to manage their careers and taking care of their children which should be very interesting especially since they say the show will not be “ratchet” which is hard to believe when you’re talking about these two characters.

Chief Keef had his first child at just 16 years old and had to pay child support right away and since then he has been in three other child support cases. Today he adds another woman to the list who is saying that he is the father of her child. TMZ is reporting that he even posted a pic of the two month old baby on his own instagram account with the caption “The White Sosa” but quickly deleted it and has his lawyer saying now that the womans claims are not true. This coming Sunday is the VMA’s and Kanye West is said to be the one recieveing the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award this year. Though Ye is not confirmed to be a performer at the awards he will be at the event. This award was awarded to Beyonce last year and Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson in past events so this award is for the biggest and best. Make sure you tune into the awards on Sunday at 9 PM.

A website based in Philadelphia called ogeewoogee.com is creating an annual scholarship called “Be Alright for the students at High Tech High School in New Jersey. This contest will be giving the students an opportunity to recieve a $1500 college scholarship that goes towards both tuition and books. To enter for a chance to win the students have to send in a 3 minute video that explains the postitive parts of hip-hop and showing off one of their own talents. This all was inspired by Kendrick Lamars hit song off of his latest album called “Alright”.

“Hotline Bling” is a pretty new song released by Drake when he put his first diss track for Meek Mill and it seems the song has been a favorite for many of his fans going from number 57 to 34 on the hot 100 which is pretty impressive. Drake is now said to be sending this single to radio stations which will get it played all over the world and it’s popularity will only grow from there. The track should be on radios by September 1^st and this can only mean more music from Drake as we come closer to an official release of his upcoming album “Views From The Six” in the coming months.
