Young Dro has only been in the news lately for negative things like his arrest back in January and he now has an arrest warrant out on him. Dro missed a court date which set this into action and it was some felony theft charges. So Dro has a bench warrant out for him and no bond so hopefully he gets this cleared up and gets back to the music for his fans.

Chance The Rapper and DJ Khaled shoot music video in Miami
Chance The Rapper was in Miami shooting a new music video and the reason we know of this is because DJ Khaled was there and Snapchatting as usual. So Khaled actually posted a couple videos showing that he was on location with Chance telling the fans to “stay tuned” and the second clip is the two filming a part of the video and you can hear a bit of the song playing which is sounding good.

Lil Wayne takes photo with Birdmans enemies
Though it did seem like Birdman and Lil Wayne were working things out recently that just might not be the case. While at the first stop on Beyonce’s Formation tour Lil Wayne showed up to support along with two well know enemies of Birdman. Those enemies were Rick Ross and Trick Daddy who both have talked badly about the way Birdman handles business. The three even got in a picture together in which Lil Wayne flips the bird at the camera which one could take as him flipping off Birdman since he is standing between two of his enemies. But this is all speculation so keep it right here for any further updates on Wayne and Birdman.

Chicago rapper, Mick Jenkins has been putting out great music for quite some time but now he is about to take things to another level. Taking to his Instagram Mick Jenkins surprised his fans and posted “I’m done.[wit the album].” This is really exciting news because Mick is a true artist and is lyrical and makes a lot of meaningful tracks that are in tune with current events. The album is said to be called “[T]he [H]ealing [C]omponent” but there is no release date yet so until then make sure to check out his past projects The Water[s] and Wave[s].
Drake reveals the tracklist for “Views From The 6”
Taking to Twitter today Drake shared the long awaited tracklist for his upcoming album “Views From The 6”. The track is indeed made up of 20 tracks which usually means there is going to be a little something for everyone one this album. The thing that really grabs your attention is the fact Drake decided not to share if there are any features on the album but it is unlike him to not have features so he must just want to keep them a secret.
Birdman turns the internet jokes into a profit
Birdman was getting roasted on social media the last week because of his notorious 2-minute long Breakfast Club interview that went all wrong. Now Birdman has taken all his saying that social media has been making fun of and put them on t-shirts that are now on sale. Some of the saying are “Put Some Respek On My Name”, and “I Ain’t Gonna Say It No Mo”. Now this is a really smart move on Birdmans part because the internet can’t clown him if he is clowning himself.
Azealia Banks takes aim at Beyonce over social media
As usual Azealia Banks is going hard on someone over Twitter and this time it is a Beyonce. Banks starts off saying that Beyonce was telling black women to bow down a few months back in her music but now shes making pro black music. Azealia feels like Beyonce isn’t genuine when she makes this music eventually tweeting “she’s not a “sister” she’s a poacher. She’s a thief. Sisters don’t steal, sisters share.” Banks ends calling Beyonce a “lightblack women” and saying she does nothing for darker women like herself. Beyonce will most likely not respond to any of this but keep it locked right here just in case.
The Games talks a Prince collaboration that didn’t work out
The Game almost had the feature of a lifetime with Prince and he talked about it with TMZ when they caught up with him recently. “I wanted him to get on a song and he was down to do the song, so we met at Doug Morris’ office at Universal a few years back.” Game said but things took a turn pretty quickly. “He heard the song and there was one curse word in it and he was like, ‘I can’t get on that, it’s got a curse word in it.” Game felt it was important to keep his lyrics how they were though so the collaboration never happened sadly but it sure would have been nice.
Secret service said to be hounding YG’s label over his “FDT” track
YG’s latest hit “Fuck Donald Trump” featuring Nipsey Hussle has been getting a lot of attention lately and some of it has not been so good. TMZ actually spoke with YG recently asking if Donald Trump has reached out about the track but he says the secret service has been keeping an eye out for him and looking into the lyrics of his song. “They asked to see the lyrics on my album to see if I’m talking about Trump on my album, because if I’m talking about him on my album they’re going to try and take it off the shelves.” YG said so it looks like people are really taking notice and hopefully it doesn’t ruin YG’s album sales.
Rick Ross sends Charlamagne bottles
Rick Ross pulled a Drake and sent six bottles of Luc Belaire Rose to Charlamagne for him standing up to Birdman in the recent interview. It is well known that Ross has a problem with Birdman even going so far as to call him a “pussy” on his track “Color Money”. Of Course Rick Ross feels this way because Lil Wayne is his friend and he knows that Birdman doesn’t pay his artist allegedly which is why he spoke out about him in the first place.
Desiigner’s track “Panda” hits #1 after 6 weeks
Desiigner is the latest addition to the G.O.O.D. Music roster and his track “Panda” that gained a ton of popularity thanks to Kanye’s song “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 2. The track has been charting for six weeks and has now taken the top spot pushing Rihanna’s “Work” down to the number two spot. This hit record has become the only hip-hop song to get the top spot since Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” track from last year. So it looks like Desiigner is on the right track but we’ll have to see if he can reach this level again.

Kodak Black’s mother in tears after seeing him on the cover of XXL
Though Kodak Black has been having a little bit of a rough time with the law he has managed to get out on bail. Today he posted a video on his Instagram showing his mother his cover on XXL magazine and she cries tears of joy. It is a very touching video but Kodak has to start staying out of trouble because going to prison just when you hit the spotlight makes your career awfully short just look at Bobby Shmurda.
