Two of the biggest names in hip-hop right now are Future and Drake and they just might be going on tour together this Summer. Future took to his Twitter earlier with three post “VIEWS 29” shouting out the release of Drakes fourth album, “FBG x OVO” Futures squad and Drakes squad, and finally “Get Ready” which can only mean one thing that the two are teaming up again and a tour this Summer would be perfect with 20 tracks Drake said is on his new album and Future huge library of tracks it would be an amazing show. Prince is an icon gone way to soon but you can see all the love he had to this day with him having the top two positions on the Billboards top 200 songs this week. The day he died Prince actually sold 250,000+ albums and with no one except Tidal having access to stream his music most of these sales are actual album sales which is very impressive for this day and age where everything is streamed.

Birdman is trending all over the internet today but not for reason he would hope but because he stormed out of an interview with The Breakfast Club early morning radio show. The interview only went on for around two minutes and everyone know Charlamagne Tha God is not shy and will get straight to the point with whoever is on the show. It didn’t even get to that point though because Birdman came into the room telling all the host to respect his name. But as soon as the show started up Charlamagne called him out telling all the listeners how Birdman was acting and the final straw was when he asked Birdman why he didn’t pull up like this on Rick Ross or Trick Daddy who were the people originally talking bad about him. This lead to Birdman and all of his “goons” walking out on the interview. Now Birdman did apologize later to DJ Envy and said that he wants to do the show again but Charlamagne and him may still have some problems because this situation is just more ammo.

 

As reported just yesterday Kodak Black, a young rapper from Florida was arrested though no one knew why. Well today it has come out that he is has weapon and drug charges and it all started when cops saw him in what looked like a drug deal. This lead to a high speed car chase where the police actually witnessed Kodak try to dump a firearm in a dumpster. This is all pretty crazy especially for a young rapper who has been having a good run of success but you can’t say this is much of a surprise if you listen to his music.

As you know by now Charlamagne tha God shut down Birdman on The Breakfast Club radio show this morning and got him to walk out on the interview. But Young Thug who is known to be close to Birdman has actually recorded a video threatening Charlamagne with violence after the whole thing went down. Now the video was posted on Thugs Instagram but was deleted very quickly for obvious reasons but XXL actually saved it before hand. In the clip Thug says he will have Charlamagne tortured and beat up. Make sure to watch the clip below and determine for yourself if Young Thug is serious or not.

In some great news, Kid Cudi, in a new tweet says he has a brand new album coming this Summer. Now his last project, Speedin’ Bullet 2 Heaven, was not very well received at all but Cudi can make timeless music when he sticks to the style he came out with. There is no exact release date for this album yet but as details emerge you can find them right here.

In a brand new interview with Rolling Stone, Logic talked about some upcoming projects that are bound to get his fans excited. “I’m currently working on two albums at the same time…One of them is “fun” lets put it that way. The second one is from the perspective from all different types of people,” Logic said in the interview which just goes to show that Logic hasn’t slowed up yet and makes some great music. There is no news at this time about when these albums might be dropping but should be sometime in the near future so keep it locked right here for any updates.

Lil Uzi Vert had a bit a hacker problem recently after a hacker decided to steal some of his music and sell it off. But Uzi took things to the next level and actually tracked down the hacker and put him on blast on video. The clip shows the hacker with Lil Uzi Vert behind the camera throwing insults at him. This will hopefully show hackers that they aren’t as untouchable as they once thought they were. Check out the video below.

The up and coming Florida rapper who is know to be pretty wild, Kodak Black has been arrested. Video showed up online where you can see Kodak being arrested and put into the back of a police cruiser. Right now it is still unknown why he was arrested but that news is sure to hit soon enough so keep it right here for updates on his situation.

This story is happening more and more often now days but Action Bronson has been dropped from another college concert. A few weeks back Bronson was dropped from a George Washington University concert and now it is Trinity College who has shunned the rapper. Students signed a petition to stop him from performing signed by students and teachers. This all stems from lyrics that Bronson has that are misogynistic, homophobic, and or transphobic. Now I’m sure Bronson hasn’t put anything like that in any recent music but of course the past will always come back to haunt him.

PAISLEY PARK, Minn. — Superstar Prince died at his estate in Carver County, Minn., on Thursday, his publicist said. On Friday, Prince was released from the hospital and returned to his Minnesota home after making an emergency landing in Illinois. Prince has been battling the flu for several weeks even canceling a couple of shows, Prince performed his last show at Fox Theatre then boarded his private plane to fly home as his flu worsened  the pilot made a unscheduled stop around 1 a.m. at Quad City International Airport in Moline. After receiving treatment, Prince was back on the plane three hours later.  Prince died earlier today (April 21) at age 57 at his Paisley Park home and studio, his publicist confirmed to the Associated Press . TMZ first reported the news. Prince has won seven Grammy Awards and has earned 30 nominations. Five of his singles have topped the charts and 14 other songs hit the Top 10. He won an Oscar for the original song score to the classic film “Purple Rain.”  RIP

 

Quentin Miller is tired of the Drake v Meek Mill beef and talked about it in a brand new interview with Vlad TV. “I thought it was corny…I just thought the whole thing was corny, okay, who gives a shit? Who cares. Make your music, bruh. That album was fire. The Dreams Worth More Than Money, that shit was fire…My name being dragged into it, my voice being dragged into it, it’s just like all I can do is just keep focusing on what I’m focusing on. I’m my own artist. I’m focusing on my own shit. I don’t want nothing to do with that…the whole shit was annoying.” Who Quentin is really annoyed with is OG Maco though because he was the initial person to put his name out all over when he didn’t need to and the two have actually stopped communicating with one another because of it.

Drake took to his Instagram to tease all of his fans with Vinyl’s of his mixtape, Room for Improvement(2006) and Comeback Season(2007). These tapes are what really got Drake buzzing and showed a lot of people that he was not just the kid in a wheel chair on a Canadian tv show but he could really rap with the best of them. Biopics are what everyone wants to do now days after the major success the N.W.A biopic received. Birdman has now said that he wants to make a Cash Money Records biopic “They are geniuses for what thye have done and accomplished, Cube been doing what he do for so long, but for them to do that and to make it trend-setting, it opened doors for us. I just think that what we have is way more special because we’re in modern time.” They believe the script is really good and making a biopic will let the world see a lot of the things we didn’t get to see which would be pretty interesting but we’ll see if it really pans out.

It is well known that there are a bunch of rappers who are really into fashion these days and Tyler, the Creator is no exception. Tyler has his own clothing line called Golf Wang and a new fashion company called Made has got a brand new event in LA and will use it to have a Golf Wang fashion show. Tyler has a very unique style and he says that the way he picks clothing for his line is all just a feeling he doesn’t put a whole lot of thought into it. So it should be interesting to see what and Odd Future fashion show looks like but we’ll get to see it soon enough because it is set to happen sometime in June.
