As reported yesterday PartyNextDoor posted a photo of Kehlani in bed with him and this lead to the internet attacking her for allegedly cheating on Kyrie Irving. Now this has all lead to Kehlani today trying to take her own life. She was taken to a hospital and while in the bed she posted a final Instagram post before quitting Instagram all together. In the post she explains that she never thought she would get to this low a point. Hopefully she makes a full recovery and she doesn’t let the internet get to her in this way again.

Unlike what Kanye West said would be the case one track from his latest album “The Life of Pablo” has made it on to both Spotify and Apple Music. Now Kanye said that the album would never be on any other service besides Tidal but it seems that is not the case anymore. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come and Ye drops the full album on Spotify and Apple Music for all of his fans to enjoy.

Just today P Diddy has announced that he is founding a charter school right in the neighborhood where he grew up in Harlem. The school is to be named Capital Preparatory Harlem Charter and classes will be in session come fall. Now to Diddy this is all a dream come true helping out the youth of the community he knows so well.

While performing at his concert in Midland, Texas back on Saturday Tory Lanez of Toronto was not seeing eye to eye with the venues security. Lanez went as far as to say “Bitch ass security” and at that point the crowd began to get crazy breaking things and this lead to the show being shut down. TMZ is actually reporting that the venue is looking to press charges because he got the crowd riled up and destroying things.

PartyNextDoor, PND for short was in a relationship with R&B singer Kehlani but they broke things off early last year. Kehlani has now been dating NBA star Kyrie Irving but things took a turn today when PND posted a picture of Kehlani’s tattooed hand as she lay in bed with him with the caption “After all her shenanigans, still got the R&B singer back in my bed.” Who knows where this will go from here but keep it locked right here for updates.

 

Taking to her Instagram Lil Kim has given fans some details on what she is working on right now. She announced that she has a brand new mixtape called “Lil Kim Season” and also announced that it will be dropping on March 28^th which is tomorrow so fans should be pretty hyped. Now this is just a mixtape but it will definitely hold people over until Kim drops her actual album that so many fans have been waiting so long for. Check out the announcement and artwork below.

Rapper that goes by the name of Yung Lean had to have his concert in Minneapolis shut down due to bomb threats on social media. The venue was the Fine Line Music Cafe and they shut it down at around 6:30pm so nothing got to happen at all. Police shut the whole area down for about two hours until they felt it was safe and the venue canceled the show even though Lean wanted to go on.

The Kardashian family went all out for easter this year having a big event for the kids. Now Kanye West and Tyga even dressed up in bunny costumes and made sure the kids had a great time. T.I. And wife Tiny had their third child together come into the world just yesterday. The news did not spread in a very usual way though because The Shade Room actually found a post by Tiny’s own niece and leaked the news that way. T.I was not with his wife at the time of the birth because he was touring doing shows in South Carolina and took to his own Facebook to confirm it and say he wasn’t happy about how it was leaked before they even got announce it.

Quentin Miller the artist who allegedly gave Drake reference tracks sat down for an interview with VLAD TV. In the interview he admitted that Meek Mill and his posse actually found him and beat him up in the Nike store in Beverly Hills. Now Miller didn’t bring this up but the interviewer did and Quentin just confirmed that it really did happen. Meek Mills reason for confronting Miller was because he was upset about Miller putting out the letter saying that he didn’t write for Drake and he felt it made him look like a liar. Meek tried to get Quentin Miller to get in front of cameras to say his letter was false but when he refused that when he got beat up. Check out the interview below.

 

During Q-Tips own Beats 1 radio show he made sure to pay tribute to Phife Dawg with a huge Tribe Called Quest mix the spanned 3 hours. A bunch of artist actually recorded their own tributes to Phife including Andre 3000, Chuck D, and Kendrick Lamar. “The man lives and breathes Hip Hop, the man’s a social narrator along with the world-legendary all-time A Tribe Called Quest. What a team along with Q-Tip, along with Ali Shaheed Muhammad, along with Jarobi. Team player in the game and really from Queens, these kings.” Chuck D said when speaking about the late Phife Dawg. This kind of story is getting old and will hopefully stop happening soon as more states make it legal but Twista was arrested while in Indiana for possession of marijuana. Twista was pulled over in a phantom and police smelled the weed and searched him finding half an ounce that was hidden away in a can. No one in the car claimed the weed was theirs and Twista ended up staying most of the night in jail before getting bailed out at 4am for $500.

 

Chef turned rapper, Action Bronson has already hit the world of cable television with his show “Fuck, That’s Delicious”. Now Bronson is taking things to the next level by going all in and making an actual cookbook called “Fuck, That’s Delicious: An Annotated Guide to Eating Well” This book will be about more then just cooking and will actually share Actions own personal life stories in the book along with his recipes. This is a awesome step for Action Bronson and one that makes a ton of sense.

A Tribe Called Quest has finally issued an official statement on the death of Phife Dawg. Phife Dawg passed away due to complications from diabetes. Here is their statement “Our hearts are heavy. We are devastated. This is something we weren’t prepared for although we all know that life is fleeting. It was no secret about his health and his fight. But the fight for his joy and happiness gave him everything he needed. The fight to keep his family happy, his soul happy and those around him happy, gave him complete and unadulterated joy… until he heeded his fathers call.

We love his family his mother, his father, his son, his wife, his nieces, his family here in New York, Atlanta, California and Trinidad.

Thank you for the outpouring of prayers and support from the fans, fellow artists, music outlets, blogs, radio stations, DJ’s, social media and the music community at large. This too is part of his joy and means a lot to him. His family is overwhelmed by the support, well wishes and are thankful. His music and what he’s contributed is seismic and hard to measure. He’s affected us as much as he’s affected all of you. We’re inspired by his daily joy and courage. He wasn’t in pain. He was happy.
