A lot of rappers are putting out more then one project a year lately and it is a great trend so long as the quality remains high. Now during an interview with Complex while at SXSW, Wale talked about his upcoming album and other projects on the horizon. The album is called “Shine” or “Still Here Ignoring Negative Energy” and while that album is almost complete Wale has more up his sleeve this time around. But he did make sure to let the world know that he will have another studio album out in 2016 though no details about it at this time.

Last night at 1:30am just as major shows and events were slowing down and coming to an end shots rang out in the crowded streets. This went down on E. Sixth Street and Trinity which is in downtown Austin, Texas. There is video of the crowd where there seemed to be a fight starting up just before the gunshots then everyone just starts running and police did manage to catch the suspect. Luckily the gun was only fired into the air so no one was shot which is extremely great news.

Mannie Fresh was actually the one to get Lil Wayne and Birdman back to seeing eye to eye he details in a new interview with Genius. The way he did it was with the track “Hate” which he got Wayne on board with and ran into Birdman and got him on the track. “We should do it more often. We probably did five songs that night, songs with that old Cash Money sound, The hard part is convincing them to do the whole album.” Well hopefully Mannie can eventually get it done and fans of there old sound can enjoy it once again.

Pharrell Williams has been hitting the studio with Justin Timberlake so you know big things are about to happen. Justin was actually the one who posted pictures of the studio session. Now Justin has been out of it for a minute but with Pharrell by his side they are bound to have a few radio hits and a solid album all together if that it something they are working towards. These have been quiet with The Game for a while now but things are looking to turn right back up after his latest stunt on Instagram. Game just last night was at a club and got wasted and decided to post on his Instagram while in that state which was a mistake. Game talked about everyone from 50 Cent to Kehlani in the post. Last year was not the best for Iggy Azalea getting pretty negative comments from a lot of the hip-hop community online. Now in a new interview for a London magazine called Schon!, she talks about her next album that is called “Digital Distortion” and give details about the drama she was involved with just last year even saying that she had a psychotic breakdown because of it all. “I had to have a psychotic breakdown last year, I felt tired and stressed out, last year, I felt like I was definitely not in control of the media’s narrative of me.” Hopefully Iggy can get everything back on track for her many fans who can’t wait for new music.

Meek Mill is serving his 90 days in house arrest right now and Rick Ross went to visit him recently. While together Ross and Meek decided to show off their ankle monitors that they both have right now. Meek took to Snapchat to post a quick video of the two saying that they are going to be alright. Rapper Andre Roxx, an affiliate of Wu-Tang was mistakenly put all over social media a while back when another artist by the name of Christ Bearer cut off his own penis and jumped from a second story apartment in a wild suicide attempt. One of the biggest reason for the mix up is the fact that Roxx legal middle name and last name is exactly the same as Bearer’s legal first and last name, Andre Johnson. Plus both were apart of the Killa Bees which is an affiliate of Wu-Tang. Now Andre Roxx has got in contact with us at HHNS to set the story straight in a brand new interview. A&E is giving 50 Cent his very own variety show and just when you think 50 might actually be struggling he snaps right back. The show 50 Cent is to executive produce and host is going to be called “50 Cent Presents” and will be a combination of music, social experiments, sketches, dance, stand-up, and topped off with star guest appearances. Now this sounds like it could be a really entertaining show to watch and A&E’s head of programming had this to say about 50. “He is a true tastemaker across industries and we are excited to see his impressive showcase of talent.” Hopefully the show does well and 50 can bounce back after all the negative attention he has been getting for his filing bankruptcy.

Yo Gotti and specifically his new young signee Blac Youngsta have been stirring up trouble with Young Dolph. It even went as far as Blac Youngsta showing up to Young Dolph’s neighborhood with his crew all strapped with weapons. Now Dolph has found out about all this and has taken to his Instagram to speak his mind. “Ho Gotti, you’s a bitch ass nigga, I just got back to the city, they say you’re tryin’ to put charges on me, put the police on me. You sent your lil’ nigga to do all your talkin’. Talk for yourself, bitch ass…”. So as you can see Dolph is not happy at all with this and things seem to be heating up with this beef. “That big head down syndrome looking motherfucker hate on everybody from the city that gets some real money. Migos own Offset has landed himself back in jail for driving with a suspended license while in his hometown of Atlanta. Now of course this isn’t a huge a deal as his 8 months in prison for his drug and weapon possession but it can’t feel good to go through that process again. The reasoning for the suspended license was that he failed to pay a $316 parking ticket and never went to court for it. Hopefully Offset gets things taken care of so he can get his 5 years probation over with.

TIME has released their annual list of the most influential people on the internet and this year both Kanye West and Drake made it onto that list. Now we all know how Kanye has been all over Twitter lately tweeting out to his fans a lot more and sharing his ideas and thoughts. That being said Kanye is actually number one on their list as well and it makes perfect sense. The list had a huge mix of people from youtubers to activist so make sure to check it out here.

 

As we all know Tidal is not the most popular streaming service but when they got exclusive streaming rights to Kanye West’s latest album “The Life Of Pablo” tons of fans signed up for their free trial just to listen to it. The trial was only for one month but people canceled it right away so that they wouldn’t forget about it and be charged the next month. Now Tidal is rewarding those who stayed with the service by extending the trial for another 30 days and this is a big deal because Kanye has just updated several tracks on the album that are available for people to listen to right now. Everyone who canceled their subscription right away is out of luck.

During Spotifiy’s own stage show down at SXSW they had Vince Staples hit the stage. Now the reason this is news today is because of the major shade Staples threw at the streaming service while rocking their very own stage. “Shout out to Spotify, thank you for giving me this check to make up for what you’ve done to me and all my musical friends.” Vince Staples said while on stage and continued “listen to your favorite album 1000, 2000 times so everybody can get an album sale.” Vince is never one to not speak his mind but doing it when the company is paying you and you’re on their stage takes some guts.

Taking to his Instagram account Drake confirmed for all of his fans that his next album “Views From The 6” is confirmed to be dropping in April. The photo he shared was of his Views billboard in Toronto on a snowy night with the simple caption “APRIL”. Drake has been building up to this album for a good while now and excitement for it couldn’t be any higher. So keep it right here for any and all updates.
