Music Producer AraabMuzik had been shot in his jaw and right leg on Thursday night in Harlem, New York. On Friday we got an update on his situation thanks to a post from Swizz Beatz who visited the producer in the hospital. Swizz took a picture with him with both giving a thumbs up letting the people know he is alive and doing okay. This is not the first time AraabMuzik has been in this type of situation either because he was shot back in 2013 as well during an attempted robbery. Ciara is supposed to be going on the second half of her Jackie tour but it looks like it is getting postponed for a second time. This part of the tour was supposed to begin in November of last year but was pushed back to this coming April of this year. Now Ciara has come forward to her fans and announced that the tour will be postponed once again but with no actual set new dates which is not a good sign. “I’m currently in the process of making the best album of my career, I want to give all of you an incredible show… A show that you deserve! Therefore, I gotta stay focused in the studio and commit myself to this new music.” So her reasoning for postponing the tour is she is laser focused on a new album which is good news for fans though some must of really been looking forward to seeing her live.

Snoop Dogg now has a court date set with the Pabst Brewing Company and he is looking for a million dollars from the company. The reasoning is said to be he and his attorneys believe there was a breach of contract with the company. The court date is set for October 32st and things should be completely settled then. Now this all stems from a 2011 deal Snoop had signed with the company making him a brand ambassador but the company was soon after bought by investors and the brand vanished and Snoop believes he deserves a portion of the sale.

TIDAL has seen a ton of success lately because Kanye West dropped his latest album exclusively on the streaming service. This may have lead to big tech company Samsung to take notice because the New York Post is actually reporting that they are trying to buy TIDAL now. This would be Samsung’s first step into the music streaming game and they could really help the service out if it actually ends up happening.

Tyga seems to have new financial issues every day and now we have learned just a few days ago that one of his landlords is trying to get him evicted for not paying rent. TMZ is not reporting that a repo company is now trying to repossess the Mercedes G-Wagon that Tyga actually gifted to Kylie Jenner just last year. The car was originally a gift for Tyga’s ex-fiancee Blac Chyna and passed it on to his new woman plus a Ferrari. But just like his rent Tyga has not made payments on the G-Wagon since way back in October and now the repo company is out to take the car. Hopefully Tyga can get things back in order since he is out on his Rawwest Live Tour right now.

The President of the United States, Barack Obama is going to be attending Democratic National Convention fundraiser that is going to be held in Austin next month. J. Cole will be the artist providing entertainment at the fundraiser which is pretty amazing. This is happening on March 11^th and as we all know Obama is a fan of rap music so he should really enjoy J. Cole’s show especially since he is a big fan of Kendrick and both artist are pretty similar.

Drake is always making new moves and his latest is signing to BBK which is lead by a UK rapper by the name of Skepta. Skepta and Drake are close friends and Drake even got a BBK tattoo just to show the dedication. Now BBK stands for “Boy Better Know” which has been really close with Drake’s OVO and last night Drake was out and about with the artist in BBK and announced that he is the first Canadian on their roster though we really have no idea what him signing to it really does for him. But maybe we can expect a lot more collabs between the OVO and BBK crews.

The huge hit tv show on Fox, Empire, has had some big guest stars show up on the show from people like Chris Rock to Kelly Rowland. Now the show is having Xzibit join the cast and will be playing the character Leslie “Shyne” Johnson who is said to be 100% wolf and 100% gangster which seems like a perfect role for Xzibit. “He’s managed artists, started record imprints and even sold a few units here and there, but his bread and butter has always been–much to his frustration–drugs, guns and extortion. Feeling shut out by the other heavy hitters in the music industry, he carries a big chip on his shoulder, particularly for Lucious (Terrence Howard).” That is how they described the new character and he will be showing up in the 2^nd half of this on going season which begins on March 30 at 9PM on Fox.

Kanye West has just released another instant classic album “The Life Of Pablo” but it seems like he just isn’t done yet. 2016 is set to be a huge year already and this is only the first half with both Kanye and Drake dropping albums but now Kanye has taken to twitter in a usual rant but added also that he has another album dropping in the Summer. This is really exciting news because more Kanye music is always a good thing in this day and age so make sure to keep it right here for all updates on this project as they arrive.

TDE’s own Schoolboy Q will be dropping a brand new album before the Summer according to the CEO. Top Dawg has taken to twitter to announce today that Schoolboy Q will be dropping his sophomore album before the Summer which is really exciting because Schoolboy makes quality music. Now there is no other information about it at this time but fans know that they will only be waiting a few more months at the most or less for some brand new tracks.

Masika Kalysha, a former member of Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood, came forward a while back saying that Fetty Wap is the father of her unborn child. Well now this child is soon to be born and she has filed papers that request Fetty takes a paternity test and of course large amounts of child support if the child is indeed his. As for the child support she is looking for around $8,000 a month and she wants full custody of the child as well.

Things just aren’t going well for Suge Knight at all lately as TMZ is reporting that he has been put in solitary confinement. It was recently found out that Suge lost some really vital privileges as a prisoner which are phone calls, mail and visitors and he is not happy about it at all saying that he feels it is a violation of basic human rights. TMZ is reporting that TIDAL’s subscribers have actually doubled thanks to Kanye West’s newest album “The Life Of Pablo”. This is impressive but really makes people wonder what his sales would of been if he had an actual release instead of just streaming. To put this in perspective 1.5 million people subscribed to Tidal because they wanted to listen to Kanye’s album which is simply amazing numbers. Hopefully TIDAL releases the stream numbers soon so they can start calculating album sales in that way.

The Daily Mail is reporting that T.I. has just received his third tax lien by the IRS for the sum of $1.6 million. This is his third in just one year alone the others were for $1.4 million and $3.1 million because he had unpaid taxes in both 2012 and 2013 which is not a good thing at all for T.I. What is happening now is that the IRS will begin to seize his assets until they have the debt paid for. Hopefully he gets it taken care of asap because that is nothing to play with.

Kendrick Lamar came home with five Grammy Awards at the Grammys and had a spectacular performance. This lead to album sales of his latest project “To Pimp A Butterfly” to go up by 411% and this is something that usually happens to albums involved in the award show. Taylor Swift may of won album of the year but she did not see as much of a boost with only 115% so it is great to see the support Kendrick is getting from new fans.
