Just last week Sage The Gemini and Jordin Sparks had broken up. Now an instagram post from Sage surfaced online today but was deleted soon after but of course people saved it and this is what it said. “Can’t sit here and act industry like this shit don’t hurt me. You’re the only girl I can call at 3 in the morning and you’ll answer no problem. You the only girl that can wake up out of a dead sleep and get me some water because I was coughing in my sleep and the only girl that loves me the way you were supposed to. I miss you too much to watch you look so amazing at the Clyde Davis party and not be able to call you and express how much I appreciated the look because you won’t answer nor text back the feeling is horrible. You see the picture? Sincerely Dominic Wynn Woods.” Looks like Sage is getting pretty desperate if he is willing to take this personal matter onto social media and even released a song called “I’ll Keep Loving You” today which is a little bit overboard but we’ll see what happens.

The new episode of the PBS documentary “Finding Your Roots” has both LL Cool J and Diddy finding out their ancestry. Diddy discovered that his fourth great grandparents were actually free living in Maryland and he didn’t know how to feel about that since so many others were slaves. LL actually got to watch one of his great uncles boxing with family members. The show is really cool and you should make sure to check it out on Tuesdays at 8PM on PBS.

This is not good news but it is not a surprise at all that Kanye West’s latest album “The Life Of Pablo” is the most illegally downloaded music on the internet right now. Though Ye’s album was not leaked and launched on Tidal without hitch most people do not want to sign up for Tidal even with their free trail and opted into illegally downloaded the album. This has lead to the album already being illegally downloaded a whopping 500,000 times which is crazy most other artist can’t even reach those numbers legally now days. What does this mean for the albums first week sales well it means that it is going to be really hard to judge but hopefully Ye eventually drops the album on other platforms.

Just after the Grammys the Weeknd took things up a notch throwing a birthday party/after party that was put together by GQ Magazine at a huge mansion. The mansion was in Beverly Hills and had at least 1,000 guests so you know it was wild. But as everyone knows when things get to wild neighbors will call the cops and that is exactly what they did. Cops arrived at 1:30 AM and shut the whole thing down and surprisingly The Weeknd wasn’t even mad about it.

The Game does not want to put an end to his beef with Young Thug stirring the pot yet again recently. Taking to his own comment section on his Instagram account The Game posted a pic of him in a bear outfit surrounded by women and someone commented “you gonna need a Ted when Thugger catch yo ass!” which of course set Game off. He responded right back with “You must be joking… I will beat the Victoria secret out of that boy/girl.” Young Thug is sure to find out about this and most likely will respond so keep it right here for updates on this ongoing beef.

As you may know Jay Rock of TDE was in a motorcycle accident yesterday that left him with a ton of broken bones. Jay Rock has now today had successful surgery and is doing fine according to TDE’s CEO Anthony Fiffith’s Twitter. Plus he added that he wants the fans to stop showing up at the hospital which makes sense though it is all love they can’t block the hospital entrances for other people.

Kendrick Lamar won big at the 58^th Annual Grammy Awards out of his 11 nominations he came home with 5. To Pimp a Butterfly also won best rap album which is a great accomplishment though it would of been nice to see a hip-hop album get album of the year but that went to Taylor Swift this year. The other wins were Best Rap song for “Alright”, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “These Walls”, and Best Rap Performance for “Alright”. All in all very impressive take home for Kendrick Lamar and well deserved.

Jay Rock of TDE has been in a motorcycle accident according to the CEO of Top Dawg Entertainment. Anthony Tiffith took to his tweet to share some bad news saying “Pray 4 @jayrock he had a bad accident on his motorcycle.. He’s hurt pretty bad… #TDE,” of course many question him about how serious the accident was saying that he is not in a coma or even near death but he does have a lot of broken bones. Hopefully Jay Rock has a quick recovery and bounces right back.

Kanye West has taken to twitter yet again today but this time to upset all of his hardcore fans who aren’t willing to sign up for Tidal. Ye took to twitter to state that his album will never be on any Apple platform for sale and it will only be available on Tidal which is a huge blow to a lot of people. If that wasn’t bad enough he also said that he will be continuing his G.O.O.D. Fridays but only through Tidal streaming service. This is all great news for Tidal but for everyone else it seems pretty bad but only time will tell.

Rihanna had to actually cancel a huge Grammy performance today after her doctors warned her of the risks of performing. Just after her rehearsal for the Grammy award Rihanna’s doctor actually told her she needs 48 hours of vocal rest or she could actually hemorrhage her vocal cords which would not be good at all for any future vocal work. She was set to perform her brand new single “Kiss It Better” on the award show but it looks like she’ll have to wait a little longer to perform for her fans and hopefully her voice is fine.

Right before Kanye West took to the Saturday Night Live stage last night he tweeted out some stuff that included that he is actually $53 million in personal debt. Now that sounds crazy on its own but what news came out today from Ye is even crazier. Now there is no telling at the moment if any of this is true but today Kanye West took to his twitter to tweet out “Mark Zuckerberg invest 1 billion dollars into Kanye West ideas” followed by the tweet “after realizing he is the greatest living artist of all time.” Without word from the Facebook boss we have no idea if this is true or not yet but the truth will come out soon enough so stay tuned.

It looks like Kanye West did not receive any money from Mark Zuckerberg but now he has taken to twitter once again to publicly ask Mark for his help asking everyone to try and get his attention so he can talk to him.  Ye even goes as far as to say that it is his time of need and all of these business ventures have cost him tons hopefully he can bounce back and get the debt taken care of.

Tory Lanez is a fellow rapper/singer from Toronto, Canada and he is known to throw tons of shade a Drake. The most recent case was when Tory was trying to dismiss the way Drake calls Toronto the “6” saying that no one calls it that. Drake obviously heard about this and fired back on his recent hit single “Summer Sixteen” where he raps “All you boys in the new Toronto wanna be me a little” which is a reference to Tory’s mixtapes title which is “The New Toronto”. Now it seems Lanez had accepted defeat because in a brand new interview with Revolt during the NBA All-Star Weekend he said that he would not be responding to Drake at all even going as far as to say “Drake could diss me 20,000 times, and I’d never diss him, I’m a fan… I have no negativity on my side. All blessings to that man.” Now this is really insane because he was not talking like this before Drake dissed him. Check out the clip below.

According to DJ Khaled aka the king of Snapchat he will be dropping French Montana’s brand new mixtape on his radio show this coming Friday. Khaled had French in some of his clips confirming that the mixtape is going to drop and he will be the special guest for his radio show. There is no other information about the mixtape at this time but the fans could always use some new free music to keep them satisfied.

Kanye West just took things to another level for an SNL performance just last night and now it appears that Future is going to be heading to the same stage in a month. Future just released a surprise album called “EVOL” and has been having a very good year and is set to be on the worlds stage on SNL on March 5^th which is pretty impressive since his music is only ever about doing drugs and he can be very hard to understand. But we’ll see what happens in a month and hopefully he pulls it off.

The way the city of Toronto reps Drake you would of thought that he already had a key to the city but that was not the case until today. Today it was announced that Drake will be receiving a key to the city by the cities current mayor, John Tory. John posted a video today where he explained why Drake is worthy of the honor and you can’t really argue any of it.
