Two of the most known members of the ASAP mob, Rocky and Ferg are going to be doing voices for an upcoming animated series to air on HBO. The show will center on New York City wildlife like rats, dogs, and pigeons but we still have no idea what animals they will be voicing at the moment. President Obama is on his last year as the president of the United States and he recently did a fun interview with some youtubers. Sitting down with a popular youtuber by the name of Swoozie, Obama was asked Drake or Kendrick Lamar? The response was “Gotta go with Kendrick, I’m just saying. Today Rick Ross is no longer apart of the Def Jam label revealing that he has just signed a brand new deal with Epic Records. Ross has actually been with Def Jam for 10 years and has reached higher levels of success with them including his eight studio albums. This deal is only for Ross himself though know one else signed under MMG is included in it. Ross joins the likes of Diddy, Mariah Carey, Ciara, and Future.
Meek Mill’s mixtape is highly anticipated by his fans so when he decided to drop a 4 track teaser for the tape today the fans were very happy. Meeks upcoming mixtape “Dreamchasers 4” has been a long time in the making but it must now be around the corner but to keep the fans happy he released a 4 track EP called “4/4”. Now of course Drake fans went straight at the artist with negativity because 1 of the song actually is what seems to be a Drake diss but if you are not someone who can handle Meeks yelling rap style you are going to want to stay away from these tracks because that is all you get.
Lebron James, super star Nba basketball player is about to be a television producer. Lebron will have a show called “Cleveland Hustles” which will feature him with his friends but of course Lebron is a busy guy so he will most likely only be making cameos once in a while. The show is to grow local businesses in Cleveland with the point being to “give four aspiring local entrepreneurs the chance to realize their own dreams while revitalizing a neighborhood in Cleveland.” The show will debut in the Summer on CNBC so make sure to give it a chance and see what it’s all about.
The NBA All-Star weekend is going to be in Toronto this year on February 12-14. Of course who else would they want to coach team Canada other then Drake especially in his own home town that he always reps to the fullest. For Team USA the MVP of the event four years in a row, Kevin Hart, will be the coach. Drakes team consists of Steve Nash, Tracy McGrady, Jose Bautista, Milos Roanic, Kris Wu, Rick Fox, Natalie Achonwa, Win Butler, and Drew and Johnathan Scott. Kevin Harts squad consists of Michael B. Jordan, Anthony Anderson, Bryshere Gray, Chauncey Billups, Muggsy Bogues, Marc Lasry, and Elena Delle Donne. Make sure to check it out at 7 PM ET/ 4 PM PT on February 12.
As expected 50 Cent has snapped back at Rick Ross for his comments in his recent interview with Rolling Stone when he said his is 50’s biggest L. Now 50 actually made sure to take to his Instagram and post a picture of a hyena that is carrying a head of a deer with the straight forward caption “when it’s all said and done, I will have his HEAD. I said I was gonna talk less and do more this year, watch it play out.” 50 Cent has been really holding onto this beef and it looks like he has no plans of ever stopping at least not anytime soon so we’ll see what he does next.
Wells Fargo just yesterday was telling people that Blac Youngsta did not even have an account with them but the truth has just come out. Blac Youngsta who recently signed under Yo Gotti was trying to get money out of his bank and the bank called the cops because they believed him to be someone using a fraudulent check though they later found the actual guy. Today Blac Youngsta took a photo of a letter Wells Fargo sent him saying that they were closing his account after they made a business decision which is crazy because they just said that he did not have an account with them the other day. If that isn’t shady I don’t know what is but Blac Youngsta has now opened up a bank account with Bank of America and hopefully they don’t pull anything as shady as that in the future.
Usher has decided to give his fans the name of his highly anticipated upcoming album. Usher is a legend in the R&B genre so of course people can’t wait to hear what he has got coming up and the album is called “Flawed”. He made the announcement via his own twitter account tweeting it out for all of his followers and he is still hard at work on the album. Run-D.M.C. are a legendary rap group and are very important in the hip-hop culture. The upcoming 58th Annual Grammy Awards will actually have Run-D.M.C. getting the Lifetime Achievement Award which is a huge honor. President of The Recording Academy, Neil Portnow, had this to say in a statement “Each year, The Academy has the distinct privilege of honoring those who have greatly contributed to our industry and cultural heritage, and this year we have a gifted and brilliant group of honorees. Their exceptional accomplishments, contributions, and artistry will continue to influence and inspire generations to come.” The Grammys will air on February 15th at 8 PM.
Just last week Yo Gotti’s new artist Blac Youngsta said that he tried to withdraw $200,000 from his bank which happened to be Wells Fargo. Things went wrong and he said that that the bank profiled him and though he wrote a fraudulent check. Today it comes out from Well Fargo that Blac Youngsta aka Sam Benson doesn’t even actually have an account with their bank and he never even entered the bank. “A fraudulent incident did occur in the store so in the best interest of our customer, we reported it to law enforcement right away and as a result, a suspect was apprehended and the customer was not the victim of fraud. Mr. Benson was not a party to the fraudulent incident.” The guy who actually did the crime was caught by police later. The money that Blac Youngsta was flashing around in the video from last week was actually only about $70,000 of his managers own money that he had withdrew.
In a new sit down interview with Rolling Stone Rick Ross decided to talk about his beef with 50 Cent which never seems to end so it is always a topic. When asked about what he thought about 50 Cent making fun of his album sales and the fact he is filing a lawsuit for Ross using the “In Da Club” beat he had all this to say about it. “At this point, my relationship with Curtis is really amusing, due to the fact that I’m the biggest L he ever took. I’m still enjoying life. My kids love me. I’m blessed. And when it comes to Curtis, it’s just unfortunate. I’m not happy that his boxing company went under. I’m not happy that his clothing company went under. I’m not happy his record label went under. I’m not happy that he went bankrupt. I’m not happy that he doesn’t have a relationship with his son. That’s not something to be happy about. But to see him parading around, still able to hold his head up every day, with all of that weighing on him — that makes me happy. I admire him for being able to hold his head up in a city that has revoked all of his passes. We’ve had a quite enjoyable past, and I still smile when I see him.” So as usual this will only keep the beef going on longer and we’ll have to wait and see what 50’s response is so keep it right here.
Some real sad news for the hopeful Gucci Mane fans, the rapper will not actually be released from prison in March. It was previously reported by Gucci’s 1017 Records that he would actually be getting out in March but today they took to Instagram again to say this “So Gucci Mane NOT release on march #Fuck12 #FreeGucci.” Gucci has been locked up since 2013 and though he has been giving his fans a good amount of music despite being in prison they would definitely prefer him be out and performing shows once again. His debut album is said to be dropping in March and now he is actually working with legendary producer Scott Storch and this is known because Storch posted on his Instagram that Post murdered a beat. This could be a huge deal for Scott Storch because his career had went straight down hill since the early 2000s but with Post’s popularity right now this might be just what he needs to get his career back to where it was at.
