George Zimmerman, the man accused of killing 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, was found not guilty by a jury of six women today.
The verdict is the culmination of a polarizing case that has forced the nation to discuss race, class, brutality against youth and other matters.
The jury deliberated for 16 hours and 20 minutes before arriving at their verdict.
Many expressed outrage at the decision.
