Kendrick Lamar is now being sued for a track off of his self titled EP that he had dropped way back in 2009. This lawsuit was made by Mattie Music Group and they own the rights to the song “Don’t You Want to Stay” which is a Bill Withers song that came out in 1975. Their reason for the suit is because they believe that Kendrick sampled the track on his song “I Do This” illegally. The music group even believe that nothing else was added and Kendrick just laid down vocals on their instrumental outright. Keep it locked right here for any updates and make sure to listen to both tracks down below to get your take on it.
