Love & Hip Hop Mona Scott Young is being sued for copyright infringement $50 million

On March 10th agrievance was  filed against Mona Scott Young for copyright infringement.  She is being accused of stealing the idea that would eventually lead to the reallity show “Love & Hip Hop”.  8th Wonder Entertainment, Trisha Lum and Nicki Lum-Davis have filed the grievance to the court.  Young is being accussed of fraud, breach of contract and breach of confidence.  The trio say that they developed a show called “Hip-Hop Wives” which was going to included Tashera Simmons (DMX ex wife), Chrissy Lampkin (Jime Jones fiance), Mashonda Tifere (Swizz beatz ex wife) and Debbie Lorenzo.  The trio pitch the idea to VH1 and it was rejected.  Then later on the concept was retooled in the form of “Love & Hip Hop”.  Young nor VH1 have made any comments about the lawsuit.
