Rapper, Tyga, was just hit with a tax lien from the State of California for just over $19,000. According to sources Tyga allegedly shorted the Golden State on his 2009, 2010 and 2011 tax bills. This is not the first time the feds have had to retrieve money from Tyga, he was hit last year with a $100k delinquent bill. (TMZ)

Rumors of a Drake and Future mixtape have been swirling around for weeks now and it looks like we finally have some confirmation. Friday night Drizzy Drake was performing in Atlanta at the Music Midtown Festival and has confirmed that he and Future have a mixtape on the way and it will be dropping before his next album “Views From The Six” drops. The tape is said to release in just two days time on Sunday so of course fans are very excited and can’t wait to hear what the two have cooked up.
Rick Ross at 39 years old has decided to propose to his 22-year old girlfriend of five months named Lira Mercer. The news came via Lira’s Snapchat account with a post of a photo that showed the ring Ross got her with a caption that read “YES!”. Lira has been in connection with other celebrities in the past like Drake, Diddy, and Justin Bieber which is pretty crazy but good for these two and hopefully all goes well for them.
T.I. is an independent artist now to many peoples surprise the Atlanta rapper has left Columbia records. He had just released a 5 track EP last weekend and no one noticed that it was released independently. T.I. spoke with HitsDoubleDaily about it and said this “Having just exited my deal at Columbia, I was a rogue artist, busting creativity, just waiting to put music in the marketplace, so while I’m sorting out my next situation, I’m blessed enough to be able to control my destiny and put music out as quickly as I want to, and was able to release a Tip album, which I had wanted to do for a long time.” Now keep it locked for any updates to his situation.
Chief Keef just can’t seem to get his hologram concert going having it cancelled yet again. Keef has some outstanding warrants in Chicago so he is banned from performing there. The last show in Hammond, Indiana was shut down in just minutes by police and the latest show that was all the way across the country in L.A. has now been cancelled as well. The reasoning for the cancellation was said to be an altercation that happened during rehearsals and the venue shut it all down.
According to the mother of Jayden Vaden, a young boy recently diagnosed with Retinoblastoa, Fetty Wap has deeply inspired her son. An image of Jayden was posted on Instagram by his mother with this caption: “(Warning: long sentimental post ahead) Today I am forever thankful to a young man named Willie Maxwell aka Fetty Wap. While his music is catchy (not always agree with his lyrics but hey who am I to judge…), I’m not necessarily his fan (although Trap Queen is my jam), BUT today I’m his biggest fan. Many close friends, and of course our family know that Jayden was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma at the age of 1. In result of that he had his right eye removed 2 weeks after his 1st bday. He’s worn a prosthetic eye since then. He has always been terrified of taking it out and would not be caught without it…and then comes along Fetty Wap… Similar to Jayden he lost an eye at a young age and along the way he decided that he didn’t want to wear his prosthetic eye anymore, so he stopped. I of course am a wreck because this world can be cruel, but so proud of our Boogies. While asked a few questions during an interview, Travi$ Scott details the creation of his song “3500”: “I was staying at Kanye’s crib and we just kept playing the album over and over and over. I really woke up and slept every day on this album, man. It starts with ‘3500.’ ‘3500’ was something that was supposed to be on the ‘Ye album. Something I did in Malibu. And that beat sounded completely different. That hook came cause ‘Ye put my verse in the ASR and chopped it up. That was going to be his single, but he was working on his album so long and my album was coming up, so I was like ‘Yo, I wanna fuck with this.'”
Hot 97 had the chance to interview T.I. and find out if he was still associated with Iggy Azalea: “Sure, It took a bit of a rest stop. Personally, nah…The thing is, in her defense, she had a lot thrown at her at one time. Any human being anywhere gonna have a hard time…The thing is it’s very difficult to be the new kid and to be the butt of the jokes and to be just directed with all the direction of the negativity. It came at a time where culturally this nation, which she’s not from here, we were actually looking for a source for somewhere to place our pent-up aggression. And they just kinda got it for no reason…In some cases, it was the easiest place to put some pent-up aggression.”

Kanye West has finally finished his community service hours that he got for his assault on a photographer at LAX. Ye actually did more hours then he needed to and got an amazing review. Kanye spent his hours at the L.A. Trade Technical College giving lectures to students that are in the fashion design program. Kanye’s lawyer was in court for him and showed the court an great review from the colleges Dean saying “The contribution of the hands-on community service Mr. West has completed with our school has been of great benefit to our students and program.” Ye did a total of 262 hours when he needed just 240.
The recent huge success of the N.W.A. biopic has got everyone and their mother looking to create their very own. While some of the biopics announced seem a little sketchy and rushed a brand new Tupac biopic was announced to be coming out just next year. The film already has it’s own page up on IMDB and is titled “Tupac” and is said to be in pre-production with filming starting in December. The film is being produced by Randall Mogul who says partners include LT Hutton, Mark Wahlberg, and 50 Cent with Afeni Shakur also listened on the project as an executive-producer. This project seems to be the real thing and we can’t wait to get some more information.
A little earlier this month Logic gave the people the title of his upcoming album which is “The Incredible True Story” and it came with an awesome short video preview. Now Logic has decided to drop the artwork and it is really cool and unique. The artwork shows Logic piloting a ship with a crew all around him. Check out the images below.
Tech N9ne does not slow down when it comes to making music after just releasing his album “Special Effects” back in May he already has another album in the works about ready to roll out. The new album is called “Strangeulation Vol. 2” and it is set to be out on November 20th. Any fans of Tech who pre-order the album will automatically recieve two tracks off ot the album “MMM” and “Slow To Me”. Tech N9ne is a busy man too with two tours this fall in the U.S. and Canada so it is amazing he can put out so many projects at the same time.
While being interviewed this week, Chuck D reminisced about working with the group NWA after Ice Cube had left: “We were involved when we were working with [Ice] Cube when Cube was coming out of that situation and we said, ‘Look man, it’s important that you do this for a long time, do your best to keep it together. You’re not going to keep the frictions of every little thing but it’s like reliving a little part of our life,'” “People think that they all have it figured out but fate is a MF and it’s going to happen,” Chuck D said. “Man plans but God laughs but the point is plan anyway.”
