Rick Ross was at his huge mansion in Georgia where he got into an argument with his groundskeeper and police are saying that he pistol whipped his groundskeeper and forced him into the guest house while pointing a gun at him. The goundskeeper is said to have a pretty messed up jaw and neck after the attack. Rick Ross has now been arrested for kidnapping and aggravated assault and the groundkeeper was hurt bad enough that he now can only drink from a straw. A couple weeks back YG was shot in the hip and has been healing up but he has finally broken his silence about the shooting. In a new interview with Billboard YG opens up about the shooting and here are some of the questions and YG’s answers. What happened the night you got shot?  A little incident. I got shot in my hip, but I’m all right. Who shot you? I don’t know, and it don’t matter. I got lucky because a main artery is right there, right around the groin. The bullet didn’t go that deep, and it didn’t hit any bones. Bullet? Reports said you were shot three times. Nah, I got shot one time. It was three bullet holes because it went in, went out and went back in again. Did you really not see who shot you? What do you think their motivation was? Was it gang-related? It was not gang-related at all. It just happened out of the blue. We don’t know who did it, we don’t know why. We don’t know nothing. How are you feeling now?  I’m good. I left the hospital that night, and the next day I went back to the studio. Nobody wanted me to go. My mama tells me, “What are you talking about ‘going to the studio?’” But you know, I got shit to do — this shit don’t stop for nobody. I came straight to the studio on my little crutches.

 

Snoop Dogg has taken to his Instagram to post a very special picture to get fans excited about any future music of his. Today Snoop posted a picture of himself and legendary hip-hop producer Dr. Dre in the studio together. Lil Wayne had a show cancelled on Sunday night in Minneapolis because his group refused to be searched by security. The Venue has a standard metal detector and pat down procedure that Wayne and crew were not willing to take part in. The Venue has now released this statement about the situation. “On June 21, 2015, Lil Wayne was scheduled to perform at The Venue, a premier music and entertainment venue located on First Avenue in the heart of the Minneapolis entertainment district. Unfortunately, Lil Wayne elected not to perform after members of his entourage refused to take part in The Venue’s standard safety procedures.

In order to ensure the safety of the artists that perform on its stage, its patrons, and its staff members, The Venue has in place many long-standing standard safety procedures. One of these safety procedures is to conduct an exterior pat-down and metal detection on each person entering The Venue, and to confirm each party’s age and identity by requesting and reviewing a state-issued ID card. These safety procedures apply to customers and entertainers alike and are similar, if not identical, to safety standards and procedures utilized by clubs and arenas throughout the United States and the Twin Cities. These safety procedures are explained and provided to each performer in advance of any performance or concert that occurs at The Venue.

Last night, The Venue was honored to welcome world-renowned hip-hop star Lil Wayne to perform on its stage.

Upon his arrival, Lil Wayne was permitted entry into The Venue in order to perform. However, several members of his entourage refused to take part in The Venue’s standard safety procedures. In accordance with The Venue’s long-standing policies, those members that refused to follow The Venue’s safety procedures, and only those members, were refused entry into the club. Despite the fact that Lil Wayne was permitted entry, the stage was set up to his specifications, and he otherwise appeared ready to perform, he made the decision that he would not perform as scheduled.

The safety of its patrons, its performers, and its staff members is and continues to be the number one priority for The Venue. While The Venue regrets the artist’s decision not to perform, The Venue is not willing to bypass its security standards and jeopardize the safety of its patrons, performers, or staff members.

The Venue has or is in the process of issuing refunds to those patrons that purchased on-line tickets for Lil Wayne.”

Diddy has been charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon and another count of making terrorist threats plus a count of battery after he got into a fight with his sons UCLA football coach, Sal Alosi yesterday. Alosi according to TMZ said “I don’t care if your dad’s here. This is UCLA. I’m going to treat you just like I treat everyone else.” Later on Diddy and his son confronted the coach and it ended with Diddy in custody.

Troy Ave recently made news for only selling 4,000 copies of his most recent album. Joey BadA$$ took to twitter with these words “Reminder: Joey Bada$$ sold 57,000+ albums in his first week, INDEPENDENTLY… At 20 years old… $10/album… 85% of shares, do the math….” sending subliminal shots Troy Aves way. Joey also added “That makes me the #1 Independent Hip Hop artist/brand in the world….” The 29 year old rapper Troy Ave must of took offense because he responded over twitter saying “NO single, NO party hosting’s NO real endorsements Reminder: NObody cares + u WORK for Sony Red / Cinematic Records #FakeIndependent” Keep it locked right here for any updates on this subliminal beef.

Young Thug will be releasing his upcoming mixtape called “Slime Season” on July 4^th which is the same day Lil Wayne will be dropping his “Free Weezy Album”. This seems to be a jab at Waynes highly anticipated free album release. But one thing is for certain the fans of the artist will be getting a lot of good music on July 4^th. Plus Wayne is known to push release dates back so at least we know there will be some music out on the 4^th.

Wiz Khalifa seems to finally be completely out of Amber Roses life. TMZ is reporting that they recently approached Amber and her entire upper left arm was wrapped up. Soon after a video surfaced from one of her friends showing her arm showing a sleeve tattoo of roses cover up her old Wiz face tattoo. So I guess all of the fans that hoped the two would eventually get back together can put the dream to rest. Check out the clip below.

Diddy was arrested for starting a fight with a UCLA assistant football coach. His son plays for the Bruins and TMZ is reporting that diddy was on the sideline watching as the couch gave his son a hard time verbally. Diddy decided to confront the couch a little while later which ended up with him in custody by campus police and he is now in campus jail. Keep it right here for updates on this situation.

Yesterday being Fathers Day, Kim Kardashian decided to announced via her instagram that Kanye and her will be having a baby boy. With the post was a throwback photo of Kanye holding North with this caption. “Precious moments like this when we were traveling on tour with you are what I live for. You’re such a good daddy to North & you will be the best daddy to our new son too!,”

The drama continues on the Young Money v. Cash Money situation with Lil Wayne taking every step he can to distance himself from Birdman and company. TMZ has got some more information from files in the lawsuit where Wayne says that Birdman and Cash Money have mismanaged Young Money and it’s biggest stars Drake, and Nicki Minaj and claims that it is so bad that the two might just up and leave Young Money all together. The rumor right now is that Gucci Mane is going to be released from prison on July 11^th. A reddit user by the name of DJ Bankhead says that he is close friends with people around Gucci and says that he will indeed be released then and was backed up by Mike WiLL Made It which makes it  a lot more believable. “#FREEGUCCI big dog coming home!!!” Mike Will tweeted out just this morning.

Taylor Swift penned an open letter to Apple Music on Sunday morning talking about how unhappy she was with the fact that artists wouldn’t be getting paid royalties during the three-month trial. We know that this incredible company has the money to pay artists, writers and producers for the 3 month trial period… even if it is free for the fans trying it out,” Soon after Eddy Cue of Apple took to twitter to tell all content creators big and small that Apple will be paying all artist royalties during the three month trial period. Apple is taking great strides to become the number one streaming service because even spotify has major critisim for underpaying all of its artist which is one of the reasons why Taylor Swift isn’t on Spotify.

Kanye West hung out with Outkast and 2 Chainz at a waffle house after his surprise performance at 107.9’s Birthday Bash 20. Fonzwoth Bentley brought Ye out saying in a tweet “I mean if my boy is gonna be in the A I had to take em to the Waffle House”. Both Andre 3000 and Big Boi where in attendence at one of their favorite spots in Atlanta along with 2 Chainz and CyHi The Prynce.

Meek Mills upcoming album “Dreams Worth More Than Money” is highly anticipated and Meek decided to share some more information about it while doing an interview with DJ Charlie Sloth. The likes of Drake, Nicki Minaj, Swizz Beatz, The Weeknd, Future, and Chris Brown will all be jammed packed into the upcoming album. There is still no release date for the album but we can guess with this much news coming out about the project now release is coming sooner then we may think.
