Hot 97’s Summer Jam had 1.3 million people tune in last year from tons of different places on the internet for all to see. This year the radio station is giving the TIDAL streaming service exclusivity to live streaming the event. The stream is to take place from 2PM to 11PM this Sunday, June 7^th with all performances and backstage interviews. As for the line up you go Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean, Trey Songz, Fabolous, Meek Mill, Childish Gambino, Travi$ Scott, Fetty Wap, DeJ Loaf, and many more. So the event seams like it will be a big hit but with TIDAL not catching on it is highly unlikely they will get as many viewers as they did last year.

A ways back in March The Game was involved in a fight at a Pro-Am basketball game where he allegedly punched an off duty officer. Now Game is being charged with a felony offense for the fight. TMZ is reporting that the L.A. County D.A. is charging the game with a count of “making criminal threats” because he allegedly said “I’m going to kill you” to the officer. Game was not charged with the battery and a warrant is now out for his arrest. The Game says that he didn’t make the threats and the cop “insinuated he had a gun in his gym bag. Ludacris and his wife,Eudoxie, have had their first child together. They had a baby girl and named her Cadence Gaelle Bridges. E! reports that Cadence is healthy and was born 7lbs, 4oz. Her middle name, Gaelle, means “a father’s joy”. This announcement arrived via Eudoxies Instagram today where she posted a photo while at the hospital of a balloon that read “baby girl”. This is Ludas third child having two children from prior relationships.

It is well known that Meek Mill is a big fan of dirt bikes and quads but he is taking it to another level now. Meek Mill is going to be releasing his very own mobile game called “Bike Life” on iPhone devices and Android devices. This was announced via Instagram by Meek and is said to be coming out soon. There is not much information on exactly what you will be doing in the game but it is a very interesting concept.

Suge knight can not catch a break with his bail still standing at 10 million and a expected trail to start up on July 7^th he is now the target of a wrongful death lawsuit. The family of the victim of Suges hit-and-run filed the wrongful death lawsuit against Suge Knight, Dr. Dre, and Ice Cube. The lawsuit states that the three hired known gang members to work security for the shoots and where located in known gang areas. The family is also suing the owner of the parking lot stating that their parking lot is a hotspot for crime. Keep it locked for any further updates on the situation.

As everyone just found out Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are expecting another child. There has still been no official word from the couple about the pregnancy but reports are now that they are expecting twins. Sources close to the couple say that two of her eggs have been fertilized and she is just waiting on confirmation that both eggs are healthy before making the huge announcement.

Originally apart of The Cool Kids duo, Sir Michael Rocks is now ready to release his much awaited solo album “Populair”. New on the album has been pretty light so we don’t know much but it is coming out next month so fans should be excited. Michael Rocks sent out a tweet to the fans just last night that read “NOT AT ALL. POPULAIR COMING OUT NEXT MONTH GOT ALOTTA CHILL SHIT FOR MY GET MONEY NIGGAS AND THUG NERDS”.

Two newly popular artist PartyNextDoor and IloveMakonnen both opted out of being in the XXL Freshmen lineup. Both artist are affiliated with Drake who also opted out of being a XXL Freshmen and it didn’t slow down his career one bit. Editor-in-Chief of XXL spoke with the breakfast club about the artist saying “Nobody turned it down this year, but some funny responses…Not funny, I don’t wanna be weird, but not such responsive responses from the PartyNextDoor/ILoveMakonnen camp. That they didn’t seem so interested, so we didn’t run that lane too hard”.

Next week apple is going to be having their annual developers conference where they are expected to announce some exciting new ventures. The talk right now is that Apple will be starting their own streaming service with people like Drake and Pharrel already said to be apart of it. Now there are reports that Kanye West will also be playing a part in the new service and his highly anticipated upcoming album could be dropping on the service exclusivley which would be a huge deal. Kanye has always spoken highly of Apple and their products so this seems like the perfect fit so long as the upcoming service can compete with Spotify and Pandora.

Today Lil Wayne, one of the most known rappers around the world, dropped a new hit single called “Glory” exclusive to the TIDAL streaming service. This is big for the service because Lil Wayne has a huge following and now he is a co-owner of the company. TIDAL employee by the name of Vania Schologel had this to say about Wayne joining in “We’re honored for Lil Wayne to join TIDAL. His eagerness to release an exclusive TIDAL track and schedule a TIDAL X performance is just another example of how passionately artists care about getting their music to fans.”

Janet Jackson hasn’t released an album since 2008 with her album “Discipline” and the drought is about to come to an end this fall. On her website Janet announced that her eleventh album will arrive later this year on her new Rhythm Nation label. “The worldwide partnership with Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation will see the release in Fall 2015 of her first as-yet-untitled album and a commitment to pursue the full range of options within the broader Bertelsmann group of which BMG is part. With Rhythm Nation Janet Jackson becomes arguably the first female African-American recording artist to form her own record label. At Rhythm Nation Janet plans to offer a home to both new and established recording artists.

The partnership with BMG makes Janet Jackson the biggest worldwide superstar yet to quit the traditional record label system for a so-called artist services deal, designed to put artists in the driving seat. Unlike a traditional record deal, under an artist services deal the artist retains ownership of their recordings and full oversight of all costs and revenues.” Janet fans should start getting excited because her new album is right around the corner and it has been a long time coming.

An artist from Young Money is wanted for a double murder that happened last week in New Orleans. Police have got a warrant out for Widner Degruy aka Flow’s arrest and have footage of Flow and another man fleeing the scene of the crime. The victims were two brothers found shot inside a black Kia sedan back on May 25^th and both died on the scene. Flow is in a lot of trouble and is not giving Young Money in any way.

Nick Young proposed to Iggy Azalea during his 30^th birthday yesterday surrounded by friends. Nick got down on one knee got on the mic and asked Iggy and she said yes. The next season of VH1’s Couples Therapy will feature rapper Joe Budden. Joe Budden has done television before in the form of Love & Hip-Hop. The shows focus is Dr. Jenn Mann attempting to aid various couples with all of their issues. Other celebrities involved will be Angela Murphy and Neil Murphy, Scott Stapp, and Jaclyn Stapp and so on. The new season will be airing on Vh1 this fall.

Iggy Azalea has put out an open letter that explains why she stopped her “The Great Escape” tour. “I’ve had a different creative change of heart. I want to start totally anew, and if I stayed on my tour, that would mean I wouldn’t even be able to start working on that until after Christmas,” she starts. “On top of that, mentally, to be honest with you, I just feel I deserve a break. I’ve been going non-stop for the past two years, nearly every single day. I’m not in a bad place … I need a break to figure out what I want my sound to progress to, and I need a break to figure out how I want my visuals to progress.” Iggy wrote. Hopefully this new sound Iggy is going for is worth it.
