Suge Knight was today denied a reduction of his $10 million bail but it seems like this might not be a problem anymore. Suge Knights lawyer named Matt Fletcher let loose that Floyd Mayweather may be putting the $10 million if he defeats Manny Pacquiao in the big highly anticipated upcoming boxing match. Floyd Mayweather is estimated to make $180 million off this fight no matter what way it goes so $10 million really wouldn’t change much for Floyd. “My understanding is that Suge’s going to be bailed out this coming week. We think Mr. Mayweather is going to win the championship and then come champion the day again. They’re good friends and there’s no reason he shouldn’t and we believe that will happen.” Fletcher said while talking with New York Daily News. After the funeral of Freddie Gray, a young black male killed by police, protest had taken place in Baltimore but with them came riots and people destroy a lot of property. Young Thug took to Instagram and had some words to share about the situation. “War, rage, chaos: it’s the only thing needed in Baltimore right now. I wish I was from there, better yet, I wish I was there. I would go 730 with everybody out there, I promise. Fuck the cops. Black lives matter. Pray for my people.” Thug said. With his newly released album “Cherry Bomb” out in the world for all his fans Tyler, the Creator will now be going on a world tour. The tour will begin on May 1^st in support of the album and will be a month long journey that begins in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. From South Carolina he heads north to Virginia and Ohio and then goes across the ocean to the UK, Switzerland, Germany, France, Spain, The Netherland, and Denmark. Tyler will be doing 21 shows in 28 days which is pretty impressive and will no doubt feature mostly songs from his latest album Cherry Bomb. Back in January Crunchy Black was wanted for the assault of his fiancée. Then he was arrested earlier on this month after cops found meth in his possession but he told the cops that he meant to buy coke not meth which didn’t help him out much. Yesterday Crunchy Black pled guilty to misdemeanor drug possession that would usually result in 30 days in jail but the assault on his fiancée caught up with him which gave the judge the right to add an extra six months to his sentence.

The last couple days there have been huge protests in Baltimore that came after the funeral of Freddie Gray. Freddie Gray was a young African-American man who had died while in police custody earlier on in the month. New Yorkers have decided to show their support in this unjust death by coming together in Union Square. This was organized by Russell Simmons but Pro Eras Joey Bada$$ was also seen among the people in support of the cause.

Rihanna is flying the Puma banner these days and was named the creative director of the clothing brand just last year. She never appeared on a Puma commercial last year but that changes this year with Rihanna appearing in her first ever Puma ad campaign. Diddy is heading out on the road to do a big tour. Today Diddy was on the Ellen show and talked about his upcoming world tour. “I’m gonna go and do a world tour, I’m not gonna hit a lot of places, but the places that I am gonna hit, it’s important for me because it’s probably my last time touring.” Currently Diddy is working on his album called MMM which stands for Money Making Mitch. Drake is headlining a lot of festivals lately starting with Coachella earlier on in the month. Now Drizzy Drake will be adding Landmark Music Festival to his list of headliners. Others taking the stage at the festival will be The Strokes, alt-J, CHVRCHES, Band of Horses, and plenty more. Though Drake is the only rap artist announced for the festival so far it will take place on September 26-27 in Washington D.C.’s West Potomac Park and the tickets are on sale now.

Chance the Rapper is a very talented up and coming rap artist from Chicago that everyone should keep an eye on. Chance first met Kanye at Jay Z’s Made In America festival way back in September and fans of both Chicago artist couldn’t be more excited about the possibilities between the two. Chance even says he is Kanye’s number one fan but now the two have linked up in the studio which can only mean good things are to come and they shared an Instagram photo showing everyone it is really happening. As reported yesterday Lil Waynes tour buses were shot at the other day at around 3 A.M. and no one was injured but new details as to why the shooting may have occurred have come up. Information obtained by TMZ provides some context to the situation but does not confirm anything. According to the information the people who did the shooting were escorted out of the venue after they heckled Lil Wayne. Young Thug was also heckled on stage when he performed in Wayne’s home town but could there be any connection between the two rappers beefs and this incident? Hopefully this ends here and nothing further comes from this.

Lil B has been a good dude throughout his rap career so hearing that someone has stolen from him is pretty shocking. Lil B had $10,000 stolen from him that was in his hotel room so he assumes that it was someone in the staff at the Red Lion Hotel in Oakland. Lil B posted on Instagram a video of him asking the woman at the front desk what he should do about and getting no response. After tweeting at the company he finally got a number from them that he could call to get the situation sorted out.

The Migos are supposed to be kicking off their “Yung Rich Nation” tour bun after they were arrested it seems that plan has come to a halt. The tour was originally scheduled to begin on May 1^st but will now be pushed back to July. They have released this statement “Due to circumstances beyond our control we are postponing this tour until July. We want to be at our best and make sure that we give 100% during the Yung Rich Nation tour. We would also like to say ‘Thank You’ to all of our fans for their love and support.” The circumstance they are talking about is obviously the fact that Offset was denied bond and is still in jail because he is a felon.

Freestyling is something that is sacred in the hip-hop community and most rappers can hardly actually freestyle without reading lines. So when we hear someone actually freestyle of the top it really impresses us. The Game must be unaware that everything online stays online forever but the internet recently found the game spitting the same freestyle in five different clips. The most recent use of the lyrics was on the “Breakfast Bars” radio show but if you look back you can hear him spit nearly the same verse all the way back in 2011. Check out the “freestyles” below.

Nelly is known to mess around in the country music field after his big hit with Tim McGraw called “Over and Over”. Now Nelly has decided to revisit the country music scene by making a country project in a time where country artist are more open minded to hip-hop. When speaking with Billboard Nelly’s manager said “He’s a free agent on the label side now, and is working on a country-based Heartland EP, which should be really interesting. He may be one of the first hip-hop artists to jump into that space in an authentic way with Florida Georgia Line and Tim McGraw, so we think he has an opportunity to grow that base even more.” Nelly has separated from Universal so this project will be independent it seems but it will be interesting to see how this turns out for Nelly.

We have not heard any new music from Nas in a very long time but the rapper has announced to his fans during a show in Orlando that a new album is on the way. In a video captured by a fan on Instagram Nas says “, “Right muthafuckin’ now, death to all snitches. Watch every nigga around you my niggas ‘cuz shit is real out here. 2015, new album this summer.” This is probably a lot sooner than most people expected but it is great news for fans of the legendary artist.
