In current years old school rapper Vanilla Ice is the host of his own home improvement show. Ice helps owners with their renovations but during one of the renovations on a property in Lantana, Florida a house right across the way had some items missing. When the police investigated policed got a warrant to search Vanilla Ice’s Palm Beach County house where they found many of the stolen items. The police came to the assumption that Ice was involved in the burglary and he was taken into custody. Vanilla Ice has told police he didn’t know he was stealing property because he thought the house he stole them from was abandoned. Ice lied to his television crew telling them that the house he stole from belonged to him which is how he got the crew to help him move things out of it. Vanilla Ice was released on bond last night saying the whole thing was a misunderstanding and will be cleared up soon.

Getting on the phone with Rolling Stone Lil Wayne shed some more light on his current situation and “The Free Weezy Album.” Lil Wayne has confirmed that he is indeed working on the mixtape while he waits on Tha Carter V and plans on releasing it sometime in March. “I’m working on it every day, man, I guarantee it’s going to be something dope. If you don’t want a musician being creative, don’t get The Free Weezy Album.” Wayne said.

A new lawsuit is targeting Jay Z from an alleged 21 year old love child who is claiming that Jay has blocked all attempts to get a paternity test that would prove Jay to be his father. The 21 year olds name is Rymir Satterthwaite and he says his mom hooked up with Jay two decades ago before he was famous. Jay Z’s lawyers have yet to respond to claims that he submitted fraudulent info to the court to stop Rymir’s paternity test from happening. We’ll keep you up to date with any new information that comes from this lawsuit in the future.

Over the last few months we have seen Iggy go on plenty of rants over social media and have plenty of beefs spanning from fellow rappers to pizza chains. Today Iggy has tweeted this out “I feel the hatred and pettiness I see online at all times is at making me become an angry person and I cannot be that. To become nasty because of the way I feel I am treated would be a disservice to my fans and I promise I will try to keep smiling.” Iggy’s twitter account will now be run by her management.

Jas Prince is currently trying to get more money of Drake having a very successful career. Back in 2012 he tried to sue Drakes management but is now going after Cash Money and Birdman directly. The lawsuit in 2012 was brought forth because Jas was being stiffed on payments from Drake’s management. Apparently that lawsuit never settled which explains why he is trying again. Prince says he was only compensated $2 million for discovering Drake and he believes Drake has made upwards of $40 million for Cash Money. With Wayne and Turk also coming at Cash Money with lawsuits it seems they have their hands full.

De’Von Pickett and Eric Parker had flown to Philadelphia to help Nicki Minaj with her tour. The two were both stabbed outside of a bar in the city last night and Pickett died from his wounds and Parker is in critical condition. Nicki took to twitter to tell her fans posting “Another senseless act of violence that took the life of a great guy. So sad.” Fabolous also expressed his condolences for the two via social media having worked with them a lot in the past.

The surprise mixtape from Drake has sold a huge 497,602 units in its opening week but now it is being reported that Drake has broken a Spotify record for most album streams also. With a giant 17.3 million streams within a 3-day span Drakes mixtape has set the record for most streams for an album in its debut week in the United States. The mixtape also broke the record for the most streams in a single day with 6.8 million streams on February 14^th.

Charles Hamilton has been quite for a very long time after he had events cause him to fall out of the industry. Rumors have been floating around ever since he released a new song last month that suggested he would be coming back in 2015. This has all been confirmed because in an official press release from Republic Records it was announced that Hamilton has been signed with them. Also announced is that Hamilton will have new single with the vocal talents of Rita Ora called “New York Raining” which will be featured on the season finale FOX’s new show, Empire.

Wiz Khalifa has been claiming that Amber Rose has not been spending enough time with their son, therefore, he wants more custody: “We’ve learned Wiz’s camp has put together a laundry list of complaints,” TMZ reports. ”Amber often stays out all night, requiring that relatives and staff take over. The family dog eats its own feces and then licks Sebastian’s face. When she wakes up she’ll play with the kid for 15 minutes or so and then disappear. Amber and her mom have a volatile relationship, laced with ‘shouting matches and vulgar exchanges,’ which upset the boy. And during the arguments the N word was hurled by Amber’s mom.”

Everyone has made assumptions about Tyga and Kylie Jenner being a couple; however, Tyga still denies their relationship: “I’m not the type of person to really talk about my personal life. That’s just not really who I am. I’m not dating Kylie, I just want to get that out the way. I want to be clear with everybody that I  didn’t leave my family to be with Kylie. That’s ridiculous. Me and Chyna, we broke up almost close to a year now. We decided to split to raise an emotionally stable kid. I didn’t leave nobody to be with anybody. It just wasn’t working.”

Rapper Bizzy Bone tells the story of his tragic childhood, as he was kidnapped: “Before I was Bizzy Bone I was always—As a kid I was stuck with monumental things that happened in my life. Mike Free says he didn’t receive the proper credit for the song “Rack City”: “It makes me wanna change. I wanna help others get on and get into the same position as me. I feel like everybody has a dream. Everybody has a heartbeat. Everybody wakes up everyday. Whose to say that you can’t get your portion of the credit? I definitely want every producer and writer that I sign to my company to feel comfortable and feel motivated, [not] like they’re being discredited or not compensated fairly. I’ve never been a greedy type of guy. Money is nothing to me. I just had a son, I just wanna make sure that he gets those values, just understand you gotta be fair if you want people to work hard everyday you gotta be fair.”

Ray J’s girlfriend Princess Love who appears regularly on “Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood” with him is said to have assaulted the singer this past weekend while in New Orleans. Ray J is said to have just returned to their hotel room after spending an evening at the strip club and was ambushed by his girlfriend who beat him cracking ribs and busting his lip open and tearing his ACL. Another person at the hotel told police they heard Princess scream “I’m gunna kill you.” Ray managed to get out of the room and call the cops and was bleeding. Princess Love was arrested for domestic abuse and battery but sources are saying that Ray J bailed her out and paid for her lawyer so it can’t be all that bad.

TMZ has reported that a brawl broke out at NYC’s Liberty Theatre that involved both rappers Rick Ross and Meek Mill. Though it does seem that their security took care of most everything the footage that surfaced showed the mayhem. Sources are saying that Meek did get some punches in while Ross did a little shoving. As we find out more information we’ll make sure to update everyone on the news.

Amber Rose was a guest on Power 105’s Breakfast Club recently where she was asked about her friend Chynas’s ex who happens to be Tyga. The radio hosts asked her about how she felt about Tyga having a relationship with 17-year-old Kylie Jenner. “She’s a baby, she needs to go to bed at 7 o’clock and relax. That’s ridiculous. [Tyga] should be ashamed of himself. That’s how I feel. For sure. He has a beautiful woman and a baby and left that for a 16-year-old who just turned 17.” Rose said, which lead to Khloe coming to her sisters defense via twitter tweeting out “I was a stripper since I was 15 years old,” Amber Rose told Foxx. Please don’t worry about my sister who has a career & her shit” after a few more back and forth tweets Khloe seemed to back down while Amber through some more shade at her and her family.
