After Nicki realized that CBS had altered her performance she posted the following on Instagram:

“My darlingz, I wish you could’ve seen the choreography on the 2nd verse of ANACONDA last night, It was absolutely divine. CBS decided not to show it. Had they told us this before, we would have changed the choreo so that you guys could see the full performance from beginning to end. They already had you tuned in tho. Artists spend so much of their own money, time and passion to deliver their fans great performances. But ultimately, our art usually falls into the hands of people who care nothing about our art and creativity. Promise you’ll get to see this new choreo soon. Nicki also made sure to tweet an apology to her fans, “Barbz, I’m sorry about those angles,” she wrote on Twitter. “They told us they’d go wide, never mentioned they’d shoot the audience instead. Big learning experience.”

Conan O’ Brian was in the middle of telling his jokes when the smoke alarm in the building had gone off. Conan ceased his monologue to question whether or not that has ever happened to anyone before. It was after that question that a production employee had mentioned that Wiz Khalifa was in the building.

“You’re blaming the band?” Conan joked.  “Well, it’s because it’s the smoke alarm,” responded Conan’s sidekick, Andy Richter.

Big Sean, who is currently working on his third studio album, has just signed with Roc Nation management. People already signed with Roc Nation Management are people like Kanye West, Rihanna, Shakira and Meek Mill just to name a few. Sean also said that he would be dropping new music tomorrow to get people hyped for his new album. This news comes just a week after the rapper Wale left Roc Nation Management.

On ScHoolboy Q’s “Studio” remix Nas touched on his Def Jam recording contract. “Finished up my new album / Single about to be dropping / Last album on Def Jam and I got so many options,” Now Nas has announced that he is running Mass Appeal Records and has already confirmed artist he has signed to the label. So hopefully this means more freedom for Nas and more great music from him and his new artists.

Recently sitting down with Sway and MTV news Chris Brown opened up about it. Chris when asked about them putting their differences in the past said “We’re young, so it’s not like a pow wow over tea or nothing. It didn’t need to be explained. It wasn’t no problem.” Then when asked about him and Drake appearing together at the ESPYs he said “ Drake’s camp actually called me to do the skit. Especially after getting out of jail, I didn’t have any animosity towards anybody. I wanted to be able to bring light to the situation and just grow up. I’m 25 and I’m not getting younger. When speaking to Complex SZA gave an inside opinion on Kendrick’s next album. SZA said “It’s vivid as fuck. It’s beautiful. It’s so dope.” Then added “It sounds amazing. That’s all I’m gonna say. It really is amazing. It’s incredible. It’s next level. It’s next level for sure. Chris Rock has an upcoming movie which he stars in , wrote and directed. Jay Z and Kanye West will co-produce the film. Questlove is the executive music producer. Also starring in the move is Cedric The Entertainer, Sherri Shepherd, Kevin Hart, Rosario Dawson, Gabrielle Union, JB Smoove any many more. The film has no release date.

During a recent interview, Ralph Lauren praises Kanye West for understanding his work: “Oh. So an adjective. It’s very Ralp.That’s very cool. Well, that’s great. If I were to cater to Kanye, he would know that I’m catering to him. The fact that I make what I make—he gets it. He gets the quality and he respects it. School Boy Q lets everyone know that he is definitely working on more music. “It’s another journey I’m about to take to finish another album, no telling when I’ll finish it, but my plans is for it to drop it next year. I’m not promoting it right now, I’m still on my Oxymoron wave, but I’m definitely working on my second album.”

Today, Ne-Yo has released a single from his Non-Fiction album. His single is called “She Knows” featuring Juicy J. The media has pointed out many of the similarities of She Knows and other popular songs like Ariana Grande’s “Problem” and Jason Derulo’s “Talk Dirty”. All of the songs consisting of similar saxophone riffs.

Rapper French Montana has a song entitled “Gucci Mane” that he has been teasing to his fans that features Rick Ross and Lil Wayne with Kanye helping produce. The record company behind the accusation is Chinga Chang Records claiming the song belongs to their artist 9gotti. They are currently trying to stop French Montanas version from releasing. The record label sent a cease and desist letter.  In the letter it states that the rip off may have been a drunken oversight, the letter also accused Diddy of being a music thief and it says Rick should know better he is an ex correctional officer.  Listen below as Montana talk about the track.

When a security guard tried to get in the way of Lloyd Banks and his fans the rapper shoved him and it was all caught on camera and is now circulating the internet. He yelled out “Check this out. Get the fuck outta here, I don’t need security. Go that way!” Then proceeded to give the security another push after clearing all the security away he continued the show.
