Young Jeezy is going to be released on bail tonight after posting his $1 million bail. Jeezy has been locked up for a couple nights because the cops searched his tour bus and found an AK-47 assault rifle. Jeezy is said to have plead not guilty to the illegal gun possession charge. He will be released along with the other 5 men in his entourage that were with him. XXL has reported that Jeezy will issue an official statement in the next few days so we will keep you posted.
Game has announced his next studio album “Year Of The Wolf” will be releasing on October 14th after being pushed back. The album was originally thought to be titled “Blood Money La Familia” but Game clarified that it is in fact “Year Of The Wolf”.
The upcoming mixtape titled “Gangsta Grillz Presents: STN MTN/KAUAI” is a project was announced by Childish Gambino via twitter and instagram. Yesterday Game released a song title “Don’t Shoot” the song is in response to the shooting of black teenager Michael Brown. Michael was unarmed when he was fatally shot by a white police officer on August 9th in Furgerson, Missouri. Game said “the issue in Ferguson really hit home for me and I feel compelled to use my musical platform to address this.” “I could not fathom a horrific tragedy like Michael Brown happening to his kids.”
Other rappers are featured on the song including Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Diddy, Fabulous, Wale, DJ Khaled, Swizz Beatz, Yo Gotti, Curren$y, Problem, King Pharaoh and TGT.
On 106 & Park, Karrueche Tran recited a list of the “Top Six Things Blue Ivy Thought about the VMA’s”. One of the “thoughts” stated: “I really did wake up like this because my parents never combed my hair.” The joke triggered concern from Beyonce’s fans forcing BET president Stephen Hill and Karrueche Tran to apologize privately and via Twitter.

Andre has been touring with Big Boi this year as OutKast and said he is getting too old for Rap.

Immortal Technique explains why he doesn’t believe the two female rappers should not be compared.
“I think that in this scenario I can’t see Iggy Azalea overtaking Nicki Minaj,” Immortal Technique said during an interview with Vlad TV. “I mean, I could see her having success in her own lane. But who raps like they talk? Very few people…I would say that the people who don’t like Iggy Azalea’s biggest criticisms over her are that she talks regular like an Australian person and then almost sounds like a caricature of a black person when she’s rapping.”
Recently Drake was said to be wanting to battle rap against Murda Mook a well-known battle rapper. This is relevant only because A track from Drakes upcoming studio album leaked titled “Views From The 6” featuring a Canadian battle rapper by the name of E-Batt. Though Drake was not able to attend the VMAs this past weekend he still came out with an award winning best hip hop video of the year.
