ICE CUBE TO FACE OFF WITH BILL MAHER ABOUT THE N-WORD

OG rapper Ice Cube was scheduled to appear on the Bill Maher show to talk about his renewed album release of “Death Certificate”. Bill has recently been under fire for his use of the N-word on his show when he told a guess jokingly he isn’t a house N*gga, Sen. Al Franken cancelled his appearence on the show because of the tasteless joke but not Ice Cube. Cube who spoke out in songs about the ban of the word in the black community and use N*gga in songs we will soon see Cubes opinion on the the matter when he meets face to face with Bill Maher.

LARGE RETAIL STORES SUED FOR TUPAC CLOTHING

21 Years after the death of Tupac it seems everyone is still trying to cash in on the late rapper. Recently the old BMW the Pac and Suge was shot in was auctioned off alone with many other items. Now two retail clothing giants are accused of ripping off Tupac brand by selling clothing with his image on it with out permission. Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters was hit with a lawsuit for images the a photographer name Danny Clinch who took the picture for the Rolling Stone in the 90’s. Amaru/AWA Merchandising entered a agreement with two companies to use the photos on clothing, Danny Clinch said they have no rights over the pics and is suing for $600,000 in damages.

RIP EDUCATED RAPPER OF U.T.F.O.

Rap legend Jeffrey Campbell aka The Educated Rapper of U.T.F.O. lost his battle with cancer. For those who don’t know of the old school rap group U.T.F.O. (Untouchable Force Organization) was popular in the 80’s mentored by Full Force the group had hits like Roxanne Roxanne , You Cold Want To Be With Me, the group consist of 4 members Kangol Kid (Shiller Shaun Fequiere), Educated Rapper (Jeffrey Campbell), Doctor Ice (Fred Reeves), and Mix Master Ice (Maurice Bailey).

 

IGGY BLAMES 4 MINUTE RANT ON SNAPCHAT ON “STRONG MEDS”

Iggy Azalea is blaming her 4 minute rant on Snapchat on strong meds that got her going HAM on Def Jam for delaying the release of her new album. The rappers new CD Digital Distortion was due to be released early this month and Iggy went to social media to vent.

“Just wanted to tell you a little story about my album pre-order, because I have no idea when it’s coming out,” Iggy said in the video, in which she used a filter which distorted her voice and face. “At first, everyone at my label was like ‘June 2nd, June 2nd! So I told everybody that. But then they’re like, ‘No, we changed our mind’. I was like, ‘OK, what’s my album date going to be?’ ‘June 30th, June 30th.’ So I did a bunch of interviews on TV, and it seemed like all the reporters knew the date June 30th. I was thinking, yay! They finally got their s**t together! They’re telling everyone a real date that we can look forward to!

“But then I went on Jimmy Fallon and I noticed him saying ‘Digital Distortion, later this month.’ What does that mean? That can’t be good. They’ve backed away from saying a real date.”

The Australian rapper called bullish*t on the excuse her label gave her for the release date, Def Jam claims the paper work isn’t done and June 30 date wasn’t going to happen. Iggy responded with another email pushing back at the label.

“I guess everybody at that record label just decided to ignore what I had to say, so who knows when my album’s coming out. It has been Memorial Day weekend, so they’ll probably be partying pretty hard for middle-aged white guys… I know you guys are sick of it; trust me, I’m super sick of it. I’m really over it at this point. I’ve really been trying to be sweet and super-professional the last couple of months, but … I’m at my wit’s end.”

Iggy debated on giving her fans the record label address to Picket the office but someone must of reached out and got to her because she blamed it all on strong meds from oral surgery, now I call bullsh*t, still not sure who leaked her songs.

RICH HOMIE QUAN BOOKED ON FELONY WEED CHARGES

Rich Homie Quan has made headlines once again and it isn’t for music! The ATL rapper was arrested and may not face a weapons charge but he will need to deal with drug possession for weed and intent to distribute. Rich Homie Quan was booked in ATL for felony possession of drugs according to law enforcement the drug that the rapper possessed was weed, its unclear how much he had. Unfortunately for Rich Homie Quan in the State of Georgia the amount doesn’t determine if the charge is a felony, If convicted he’s facing up to 30 years in prison.

DANA DANE AND REGINA KING TEAM UP TO BRING A RAP SONG TO THE BIG SCREEN “CINDERFELLA”

Old School rapper Dana Dane and actress Regina King from the recent show “American Crime” has teamed up to bring a old school rap song to the movie screen. The rap star is known for his 1987 hit song Cinderfella witch is the male version of Cinderella,  the story line takes place in the hood where Dana Dane rapped about the fairy godfather ,Hurb, and instead of glass slippers Cinderfella shows up to the party with a new Kangol and a fresh pair of Ballys, and he left one behind just like Cinderella did. The script is complete and Dana and Regina are shopping around for actors there is even chatter that Ice Cube might help out on the project.

KARLIE REDD’S PORSCHE JACKED FROM HER GARAGE

Love & Hip Hop star Karlie Redd’s 2014 Porsche was jacked from her garage, the car was taken by 2 men from the dealership. Karlie has allegedly paid $43,300 worth of payments and only owes a little over $14k, the repo men allegedly went into her home and stole jewelry and clothing and drove off in her Porsche. Vanderhall Exotics cars of Houston claims the repo of the car was completely legal but Karlie strongly disagrees in the lawsuit she doesn’t want the car back but wants all the money back ($43,600).

FITTY CENT “COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS TO THE END OF CHILD SUPPORT”

Rap mogul 50 cent is counting down the days tell the end of child support for his baby Mama Shaniqua Tompkins and son Marquise Jackson. The 20 year scholarship aka child support will end in 4 months according to Fitty Cent, he hopes she saved money the rapper owes $30,600 and he will be done. Fitty was so happy he shared this info on Instagram for 14 million plus to see and read when its all done the rap mogul will have paid a total of $1,369,400.

Music mogul P Diddy top the Forbes list beating out Jay Z for the 7th year clocking in at $820 million dollars and trailing him with $810 million is Jay Z and 3rd is the Doctor himself Dre at $740 million.  Diddy didn’t just make his fortune from Hip Hop music but everyones favorite drink Ciroc and DeLeon and his recent venture Revolt Tv is keeping him steady at number one.  Sean Diddy Combs might be number one with Forbes with $820 million but Jay Z and the Wifey is worth a billion, I’m sure Diddy will reach a billion soon.

NICKI MINAJ CLAIMS SHE IS “CELIBATE” AND HANGING OUT WITH NAS

Nicki Minaj was put on the spot when she appeared on the Ellen show, we all know about her recent break up with Meek Mill but she was asked about her love life.  Pink Barbie has been getting cozy with the king of Queens, Nas sounds like she is really into to the rapper her being from Queens herself she describe Nas as dope. Nicki says she is celibate and it seems she plans on being that way for a while but admitted to having innocent sleepovers with Nas. Nicki considered herself the Queen and Nas the King of Queens, we will see how long she remains celibate if she keep having sleepovers.

CARDI B CALLS OUT ALL THE FAKES IN THE MUSIC GAME

Love & Hip Hop New York star & rapper Cardi B was feeling good when she heard she has two nomination for BET awards. That good feeling that Cardi B had spiraled down fast and Cardi expressed how she was feeling on social media.

SNOOP DOGG AND CLICK SUED FOR “AIN’T NO FUN (IF THE HOMIES CAN’T HAVE NONE)”

“Ain’t No Fun (If The Homies Can’t Have None)” are 24 years too late and according to a judge the will never get money.  2 rapper decided to take Snoop Dogg and crew to court and sue for the use of the hook they created 20 plus year ago. The 2 rappers were promised a recording deal and help promoting the artist in exchange for the hook. A California judge dismissed the case the 2 artist only had 3 years to file a lawsuit from the time the agreement in 1993.  They thought the time reset whenever the song was played, sounds like they were given some bad legal advise.

UNCLE LUKE GOES IN ON DJ KHALED

Uncle Luke seems to be territorial about his city and I’m not mad at him about that but DJ Khaled fans feel some type of way.  If you don’t know who Uncle Luke is from 2 live crew you might want to google his name. Luke has went at Drake and other from coming to Miami and running through the women at strip clubs and not putting anything back into the community.  Luke made it clear the other day that DJ Khaled isn’t from Miami he is from New Orleans!

“My brother, this guy don’t run shit down here,” the 2 Live Crew rapper said. “He just scream ‘Miami’ out. He should be screaming ‘New Orleans.’ He just a settler.

“STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON” SUGE KNIGHT ACTOR RICHARD TAYLOR BRINGS THE CHARACTER TO LIFE

Richard Taylor who played Suge knight in Straight Outta Compton has brought his character to life in Miami Fl.  While chillin at a resort in Florida the actor was asked by a security guard to remove his foot from a table in the lobby and Richard refused, The actor replied “leave me alone”.  Security called the police to handle the situation instead of getting into a confrontation with the actor. Richard Taylor approached the security guard not knowing that the police was called, Suge Knight 2.0 aka Richard Taylor push the guard to the ground and that when the fight started. Police arrived just in time to witness the 6’3″  265 pound Suge 2.0 switch to beastmode pick the security guard up and slam him. Taylor was arrested on a misdemeanor battery charge and is being held at a Miami-Dade jail.

CHANCE THE RAPPER APOLOGIZE FOR A INSTAGRAM LIKE OF FAT GIRLS

Some rappers embrace big women like Yung Jocks song Big Girls or NWA’s Fat Girl On My Jock, Chance The Rapper apologized to plus size women or whom ever was offended. Chance was strolling through Instagram when he liked a picture of 3 plus size women trying to squeeze into some skinny jeans with the comment  “Chance said get your fat a##es in the gym Queens.” It was hard to believe Chance would support the picture the rapper is active in the community and donated millions to the the public schools in Chicago.
